"I understand" Switch said with a small smile, sliding her hands into the pockets of her hoody. "Maybe it thought it would be easier to get you to listen, if it looked like me? I know there are a lot of people that hesitate to help strangers." Not that Luis was one of them! No, the Satyress seemed like the type to help any person that needed it! But there were a lot of people that weren't like her, not even remotely.
Granted, there were Guardians in that group that didn't like her, either. Apparently the figure didn't factor that into their equations.
"I'm not saying what they did was right, because it most certainly was not...but luckily it was harmless." Aside from a few scared kids, that is! With a smile, Switch nodded. "So...it seems They've made a new friend." She chuckled, nodding to the kids.
"You know what I like about you? Your Maturity." Kay laughed out a fun movie quote when she razzed him, trying to catch her tongue with his fingers but just missing. Still, it was fun hearing her giggle - it was adorable! And she was so cute about it! Nahual hissed at her from his position in Kay's hair, one of her hands coming much too close for comfort, despite not really being near him at all. Kay really liked that she hugged him back; hugs were awesome.
"I gueeeeeess~" Kay whined at her, not really liking that he couldn't hoist her up any more than he currently could. "Pebble friends? You talk to rocks?" He asked, caught between curious and amused. The young man let her go, happy to have proved his point AND gotten a hug in return for it. "Weirdo." He teased, razzing her like she had razzed him.

She shrugged her shoulders a bit, "As long as it did'nae do any harm to yer reputation, er at least more harm if'n you didn't 'ave one that was that good at all," Luis couldn't imagine that everyone that came and left here with an item that turned into a child was pleased with the blue haired woman. If they were she would honestly be surprised. She watched the woman she considered her friend and simply nodded and then turned her head toward the two that were interacting and laughed a bit. "Faris seems t'make friends pretty easy most times. I 'aven't yet seen 'er fight with anyone. Righ' now t's a blessin'."
She stared up at him after he tried to snatch her tongue. Hah! She got the better of him. For the most part she ignored the hissing snake that seemed displeased over her hugging back its host. The movie quote obviously went over her head but she still quipped back, "Yah well yer slow-face!" The Gargoyle wasn't about fancy words or insults. She just got her point across simply and aptly as she needed to. She didn't need to impress the young man before her as far as she was concerned. "An' an' an' you're 'bout as matureses as I y'am." He was arguing with her after all and he was older than her!
Faris looked smug at his whine as her tail swished back and forth quite pleased with herself though she stared at him after he asked his question and then proceeded to call her a weirdo. She didn't bristle and she even reached up and snatched at his tongue in return, "I don' talkses to 'em! But I do make 'em dance!"

Switch laughed a bit, shaking her head. "You're the first person who was there that I've seen since then...here's to hoping everything is still normal elsewhere." Chuckling almost nervously now, she lifted both hands, crossing her fingers for luck. Yeeeah...Greloren and Bastion already hated her, she couldn't imagine what this event would do to their outlook on her.
"Am not!" Kay laughed, then looked at her curiously despite his tongue being caught in a rather strong grip. Hah, ow! "Dahce?" He tried to parrot, despite his tongue being caught. "Hao?" As much fun as this was, it was really hard to talk like this! Oh, but how to correct it? Hmm...
Reaching up, he poked at her face and ruffled her hair until she let him go for one reason or another.

Luis smiled lightly and nodded, "I wanted to check in on ye Switch and t'touch base with all that 'as 'appened. We still got one o'them things floatin' around our 'ome. Keeps tryin' to eat my umbrella," she observed with a small resigned sigh. "Thinkin' I might give up and let it 'ave the damn umbrella an' be done with it," the Satyress admitted with a small wry chuckle.
She held onto his tongue a moment before she released it and rubbed it on his chest with a small wrinkle on the bridge of her nose, "Ewwww, Kay slobberses an' germs! You can keepsies!" Faris tucked her hand into her pocket and brought out a small selection of pebbles and knelt and placed them on the ground. She didn't really wait for Kay to join her as she did this she just assumed he'd kneel on his own if he was so, so curious. Faris began to lightly move her hand in small simple gestures and the bits of mineral began to move and act in the way her hands suggested they should, "Sometimes I can even shape 'em if I try hard 'nough."

"...Really?" Switch stared for a moment...then started to laugh. She remembered the nutcase that floated around her during the whole ordeal, how it got attached to doing something. "Maybe you should give it over, haha...I'm surprise yours stayed around, mine disappeared somewhere." Though upon hearing what Luis was going through, she was actually quite pleased with that. Having that creature around for a while would drive her bonkers! She had a full enough house as it was.
Kay knelt along with Faris, making a mental note to get back at her sometimes for the whole germ thing. He didn't have germs! She did! Cooties came from girls, after all...even though he was too old to believe in cooties, he certainly wasn't growing up any time soon. It was more fun this way! His eye widened while she played with the pebbles.
"Whoa! That's awesome!" There was a slight pause while he watched the stones move and dance. "Try shaping them? Please?"

Luis laughed a bit and nodded, "Aye, really," she confirmed and shifted her shoulders. "Faris won't let me get rid o' it and I think there be somethin' kinn'a off wi' it besides. Not sure 'ow to describe it. Harmless enough though..." The Satyress shrugged it off for now. Perhaps she would get a new umbrella on the way home or perhaps she'd just forget about it until the next rain hit only time would tell. She gazed over to Kay and Faris again and chuckled a bit, "Perhaps I can invite you and yers over to th' tavern for a dinner one day?"
Naturally the Gargoyle was unaware of Kay's plans otherwise she might pick up a brand new argument with the older boy. For now she was content showing off what her pebbles could do and only paused when asked to shape them. She reached out a hand and took up the biggest pebble and held it into her palms before she began to put pressure on it while rubbing her hands together as if she were rolling clay. Eventually she managed to make a rather rudimentary looking snake. She offered it over toward Kay with a proud expression; there were a few beads of sweat upon her brow from the effort she took. "Like that! It's yourses!"

"They seemed harmless...just really stupid. The one we had tried to hypnotize my Baby." Sighing heavilly, Switch ran her fingers through her hair, then looked over at the two kneeling on the floor. Why was it that most of the Curios that Kay met...were girls? She trusted him to not do anything stupid, but at the same time...she kind of wished he had more guy friends.
"That would be great! I would love to visit your Tavern! I will definitely bring my Family, it would be a nice night out." She smiled brightly, more than happy for the offer.
Kay leaned forward a bit as she went to mould the rock, pressing his knuckles against the floor. He watched her play with it and roll it, and once she was done, he held out his hand to take it from her, leaning back on the the balls of his feet. "Whooa...This is cool! Thanks! I'll keep it forever!" Grinning wide at his new....thing, he looked it over, then lifted it up to poke at the snake in his hair. "Look, Nahual! It's you!" His amusement was met with an unimpressed hiss.

"Mmm, so then flyin' int' a wall repeatedly is normal for 'em?" Luis dismissed it for the most part. Then perhaps it was perfectly normal for whatever it was.
Luis beamed happily and nodded a bit, "We'll be glad to 'ave ye! Whene'er is best for ye and yer kin, jus' let me know," she seemed to brighten up considerably at the prospect of there being friends over that she could cook for. The Satyress loved to cook. She just never got the chance to do it outside of just herself, Faris and work.
She let out a happy keen at the praise and promise to keep it forever and wiggled a bit as she leaned and picked up the rest of her pebbles and pocketed them for now so that no one would step on them or they wouldn't get lost at all. She stared up at the snake that was fused to her friend's head and glowered a bit, "Mmph! Like to see you do betterses!" she challenged the creature and then turned her gaze toward Kay and tilted her head.
"What kin'a neatses thing can you do?" She asked curiously.

"If there was anything normal about them...that would be it." She chuckled, then smiled. Luis seemed very happy...which was great, since Switch herself was pretty happy about the offer and the idea. Surely Kale and the boys would love to have a nice dinner...though for the same reason, she was worried about the outcome. Dinner could be...a little hectic. "Definitely, May I have your contact information?" Because she'd never gotten anything like that from her before! As she asked, she reached over to her desk, taking a pen and a notepad from it, offering it to the Satyress.
Nahual let out a strange growl, clearly unamused by this Sassy stone girl. He was aware Kay couldn't lift her, and thus quelled the urge to bite; it probably wouldn't do any good. "Hah, play nice." He laughed out, tapping the snake's nose and receiving a n** for his troubles. When his powers were brought up, Kay grinned at the girl.
"I caaaaan see an' talk ta dead people!" He said, waivering his voice and wiggling his fingers in a mysterious manner. "An' the other thing, I need food to show...so that one I'ma keep secret until the next time we meet!" He promised with a wink. Yes, he had been listening to the adults talk, he knew there was food next time around.

Luis took the pad of paper and pen, "'Course," she murmured as she wrote out the address and her phone number for Switch to call whenever she was ready to come and have dinner with them. After drawing a short map for her as well she handed over the pad and pen with a small smile. "I don' have any o' them cell phones or anythin' so it might take a few rings 'fore either o' us get to th' phone," Luis explained so that Switch knew not to expect a answering machine or was the sort to give up after three or more rings.
Faris continued to stare at Kay, "But Kaaaaay~, I am playing nice!" she insisted with a big innocent smile and thus placing all of the blame upon the snake that resided in Kay's hair. Granted she really was playing nice, if she had a bigger temper of some sort she'd probably be climbing her friend to try and chew the head off of the grumpy feathered serpent. Thankfully she didn't have a large temper.
"Ooooh, dead peopleses!" Faris echoed and giggled at Kay's behavior and tilted her head as he claimed that he had another power but it was a secret for now. The Gargoyle pouted in response and crossed her arms over her chest, "Fiiiiiiiine, for nowses." The topic of food, however, did catch her stomach's attention and it made a low rumble.

"Gotcha." Switch smiled, taking the pen and paper back, looking it over before sitting it safely on her desk. In return, she opened a desk drawer and pulled out a card, checking it over to make sure it was the right one. "I have a cell phone...but I can't guarantee I'll answer it right away, either...Three boys." She had a chuckle to the last two words, which seemed to sum up all of her problems. Three boys.
"Ah, You're always nice, I was talking to feather head here." He assured Faris with a laugh, pocketing the stone snake before reaching out to ruffle her hair. It was so much fun to do, he couldn't help it! Her little pout made him grin, and he leaned forward to lightly headbutt her forehead with his. He wasn't stupid enough to headbutt the stone girl hard, but it was still a headbutt. "Promise, later!" He looked down at her stomach when it growled, and he stood up with a snicker.
"Uh oh, I think Faris needs to eat!"

She took the card looked it over after it was given to her and then tucked it into the pocket of her vest and nodded a bit in understanding, "I see, seems ye 'ave yer hands full, Lass." Luis said with a small chuckle. She wasn't sure what she would do if she had a house full of boys running about rambunctious or not.
"Good, 'cos I y'am always good girl, always!" she insisted with a grin. It was actually honest she rarely got into mischief but when she did she usually made it highly noticeable. Faris blinked when she was lightly headbutted which was followed by a promise she lightly headbutted back, it was a gentle nudge of course, "Better!"
Or else!
She giggled a bit as he pointed out as she was hungry and she nodded a bit her hands moving to rub her stomach. Luis gazed over and chuckled a bit, "I s'pose it is around dinner time. Guess we'll get outta yer hair, eh?"
"Awww!" Faris pouted a bit as she slouched. She was hoping, kind of, that they would have dinner together but then again she did hear her mother invite them over one night and so the small Gargoyle brightened up just a tad, "Okaaaayses."

Switch nodded. A handful, yes...but luckily, she had Kale with her. She was about to bring him up to, when she heard Kay say something about Faris being hungry. The subject then changed, and she stared at the pair of kids. Yeah...it was about time for Dinner, definitely. Kay would probably be hungry soon, now that she thought about it.
"Just for now. I'll talk to you later, then?" She said, but offering and hopefully. It was good to have female friends; she was a little lacking in that department.
"Uh huh, sure you are." Kay chuckled, then reached out to hook his pinkie with hers. "I promise to show you my uber awesome secret power over dinner next time!" He shook the linked pinkies with a chuckle, soon releasing her hand and moving to stand near Switch, waving to the cute Gargoyle and her Mother.
"Bye bye!"
"Have a good night!"

"'Course ye will, Switch," Luis promised as she moved to collect her daughter and then smiled back at the blue haired woman.
Faris stuck out her tongue though she quickly made sure it disappeared back into her mouth before the roguish Kay could snatch her tongue much like she had snatched his earlier. The Gargoyle blinked and linked pinkies with Kay and shook. Soon her hand was collected by her Mother and they were both heading out the door. She let out a cheerful hum. Food soon! She waved back at them, "Byyyyyye Kay, Brat-snake, and Switch-Lady~."
Luis laughed a bit, "Bye see ye all soon," she said as she waved back with a free hand and then the pair were gone.
