Japanese dishes I ate and like: Chicken Teriyaki Tonkatsu Katsudon Sushi/Maki (I eat most of them) Beef Misono Yakisoba Ramen Tempura (crab, shrimp) Ebi Furai Onigiri/Yaki Onigiri (I can make these. XD) Miso soup
There are plenty more I think I missed. Though I pretty much any of the dishes that come with rice.
I want to try Okonomiyaki. I haven't tasted it yet. >.<

I absolutely adore Japanese food though I was wary at first. Now sushi and sashimi are a very special treat for me.
However, I will never again eat sea urchin (tastes like mold and looks like vomit) or raw baby octopus (the head exploded cold jelly in my mouth). gonk
Pretty much anything else I have an open mind about.

Abiding Angel Feyha All this food makes me want to vomit. Though at this point and considering I am sick, even the food I like would make me want to vomit. However, in truth, despite that I am Japanese, there are very few foods, so far, that I actually like. Aww, that's too bad, but what are the Japanese foods you actually like? : )Rice. But that's not Japanese. Spam Musubi isn't really Japanese but I'll eat that. Onigiri. Natto with Rice and Furikake .. and Egg (OMIGOHD IT'S GOOD.. haven't had a decent one in years.. raised on it). Kakimochi. Kakimochi. Andagi (Okinawan though). Ramen (Real Kind.. not fake wrapped in a package one). Udon. Noodles. Sometimes. Yeah.. more than that but it's also very limited.

I'm a big fan of sushi and sashimi too. Sashimi seems to be one of the foods that my friends don't like, but I love. ^_^ And I've tried Uni (sea urchin) too. I kinda like it, but I agree that it looks bad. Definitely an acquired taste. sweatdrop

Feyha Natto makes your breath stink and does not taste good by itself (Just saying but put Natto with Rice and Furikake and it's good). LOL, I'll have to remember that when I actually get to try it. And chomp on some breath mints afterward.
