Smiling widely, he nuzzled into her ear before resting his head against the back of her neck, giving a small rumble from the back of his throat that could almost be considered a purr of sorts--just a noise of contentment.
"Then I'm glad we're traveling together," he murmured, looking down to her with a grin. "I'm glad you came with me.." He added, his voice a bit lower than before, almost embarrassed.
Who knew if they'd become mates or not..he was convinced that they probably would--they definitely could. If he had been able to, he probably would have been blushing like crazy by now.
"N-now that we got that figured out...should we move on?" Gaara questioned, smiling, now calm and quite content.
