Grah! How come NONE of them seem to show off their owners? T.T But it's awesome that you're finding all of these, Tara. It means... THERE IS PERHAPS HOPE!

Joshua Wall you know your all lucky a dragon cave moderator isnt in the guild or you all would be getting banned from dragon cave. as said neglected science is forbidden in dragon cave. Where does it say that? And if this is true, why is there a forum about Neglected Science right on the Dragcave forum site? http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showtopic=61343

Well, can you please get me some legit information on this? Like, point me in the right direction to where it says this is all against the rules or something? Because I really haven't seen anywhere where it says that Neglected information gathering is against the rules. No one here is creating test scrolls to try to get abandoned dragons or anything like that. I don't see what the problem with collecting information is, but if it truly is against the rules, I don't want anyone here getting banned. Please actually get some information to us, don't just say things! Also, here are the Terms. Nowhere on here does it say don't make information or talk about Neglected Dragons... http://dragcave.net/terms

This sounds like a very worthwhile experiment. I will have to wait until my current eggs hatch and grow before I try this. But it may fall under this rule:Reverse Engineering Users of the site agree not to reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to derive any processes or formulas used by the site's internal calculations. Then again it may not. I have been reading up and it seems like the most common thread is being the only survivor from a neglected/killed/forced group. Like I said I will have to wait until I get my current ones grown before I think about doing this. I am not sure I could put my dragons through it just to experiment though.

I stand partialy corrected.
Note: Neglected Science is no longer allowed to post ideas in the DC forums. Their new forum site is open to all who wish to study the rare Neglected Dragon in its natural habitat. ND Science Forums may be located here, but the chat is invite only

Just to clarify all the comments ... and I thank both Mini and Joshua for opening the discussion on this ... I did go through the Cave's forums and ToS. This is what I found.
I just backed through the DC thread created by chaosrah ... Neglected Science, dragons., Experimenting towards Neglected Dragons! which is the one both Mini and Joshua are citing.
Chaosrah, who initially started the thread on August 5, 2009, had not posted any new info on it for quite a while. There was continued interest in this topic but it was generally agreed that a forum needed to be created and moderated. A few DC members were tapped to start the new forum as evidenced in one of these last posts in chaosrah's thread rayemoon Posted: Mar 9 2010, 08:23 PM Ok, Terriah is ready to lock this topic so that we can begin the new one. OPs are: RayeMoon, CommanderWymsy, and omgitskairi. ALL are welcome to give their two-cents. We're all going to need as much info as possible. Feel free to PM me if you need to, or post like always, but we need something new and organized. Terriah Posted: Mar 9 2010, 08:26 PM Closing this topic now from Rayemoon and others request. A new topic will be created with updated information. Hope you enjoy your new topic <3 Terriah is a Global Moderator in the Dragon Cave. So, as you can see, no one was banned (chaosrah is still a Cave member), no scrolls burned (chaosrah's scroll is currently active), no Cave ToS violated. I believe we are still abiding by the Cave's rules. Information on the neglected and/or zombie dragons is not a secret or proprietary.
I can't find the new forum which was started by rayemoon but I did find this active thread ...Neglected Experiment Announcement Board was started by Pink on March 21, 2010, and the last post on it is dated for today (June 9, 2010). I hope this clear up any confusion on the subject. biggrin heart

i've been wanting to try this, i just need to find some good er sites first, most people i've heard have to do several attempts before getting a successful neglected, and in knowing that i want to make sure any unsuccesful ones at least make it to being hatchlings. i haven't had an egg die on me yet and i'd like to keep it that way. XP

Found one (ss67). There are no recent deaths on the owner's scroll.
