Surprise overtook her features and the female's eyes widened. "Hey! What are you doing?" She pushed herself into a sit, watching with a slightly worried expression as he clawed off his own cast. "Are you sure you should be doing that?" He seemed sure it would be alright and as she watched him walk around, she felt somewhat relieved. As long as he wasn't hurting anywhere... She too stood now, following him closer in the direction of the lake. "We really don't have to swim, you know. It's not a big deal." Although, she did want to swim. It was a nice day for a dip... "You're sure? You can stay close to me and we can just go out a little ways so we can still touch the bottom."

"I am fine, I am pain free, I can do this, thank you for your concern but I will be alright" he said making his way closer towards the lake also "thank you, I would like that" Frostbite said to her, even he knew it wasn't smart to jump right into the deep end when you are trying to get over a fear, some say that it is probably a good way of getting rid of a fear for some but he liked not giving himself a heart attack so this way was best. "You want to go for a swim, can tell that ever since you came out of the lake in the beginning and the fact you asked before so it is fine, I don't mind doing this for you mostly but also for me, I guess I need to start getting over this fear some time, maybe its best I started to try now" he said as he looked at the cool water comming closer to him.

For a moment she remained quiet, a strange thing for the peppy female. Thoughtfully she watched him as he watched the water and finally she smiled, letting out a soft laugh. "Thanks." Even if she really could have gone the rest of their time together without swimming, she couldn't deny the fact that she was happy about it. "I'm sure you'll be able to get over it. Do it for yourself!" She perked back up almost to her full extent and a little spring found its way into her step. She left his side momentarily, speeding up to let the partially mucky water at the shoreline cover her toes. "It feels good!" she giggled, looking over her shoulder back at him.

Frostbite stopped behind her and thought of what she said do it for myself? that is easier...WAY easier said then done, this would be the first time he had stepped into water that was deeper than a puddle since he was a puppy but she was right, he should be doing this for himself, he just didn't want to...well, he did but he was not exactly bying the idea "glad you like the feel of it, lets see how badly he did, he stepped onto the water beside her but pulled his foot back. Forstbite REALLY didn't want to do this, but he tood a deep breath and stepped in beside her, keeping close to the edge and making sure his feet were firmly on solid ground, so far so good and ignoring the fact he wanted to jump out of the water right now was taking more effort then he ever thought ignoring something would but baby steps were fine right? At least he hopped they would be.

Definitely enjoying the feel, Spire hummed a small tune under her breath and padded in place, sending small droplets of water flicking around. When she could finally see him out of the corner of her eye, she looked down to watch his paws as they moved into the water. He was doing... okay. She could sense the hesitation, but she didn't say anything, only watched and waited with a small, friendly smile and the little melody. After he finally made it all the way in, she stopped humming and swished over to him. "There, you're doing it!" She leaned to the side, gently bumping her shoulder against his. "Let's go out just a little bit more." She stepped forward, but still hovered fairly close.

Frostbite smiled a a little "at least you find this good, im petrified right now even if im not showing it" he said as he shook his head at the other idea "sorry, this is enough for now, I don't really feel like going out futher, I just think it will be best I stay here for a bit" he said, maybe he will try later but right now, he was fine sticking close to the edge of the lake.
