He saw her reaction, "Sorry. Just how me and my sister use to hunt but fair enough." He smiled and chuckled a little at her comment. He lowered his body to the ground as he circled around the herd, stopping occasionally to look at the herd, he would let her make the first move, she was faster after all being female, had a sleeker frame then he.

Kijinga, after feeling she'd won that short agreement, approached the heard in a circular pattern, much like Teleka had. She watched their chosen prey, his injured body fighting desperately to keep up. She made short rounds about the herd, yet she noticed their swift motions after being spooked by the approaching lions. She watched the others, but tried to keep her eyes on the prey. After a few short trails about the herd, she looked to Teleka, flicked her tail, then charged.
Her paws flew across the ground, faster then she could have expected. The drive of hunger causing a sudden burst of energy to continuously surge through her as she found her body tiring. She ran, clear across the savanna of sand, making sure the others around her didn't attack. None did. The herd split in two once she made motions of attacking. The larger portion scattered on the opposite side of the injured buck. Her extended claws flexed a bit further as she ran towards the fleeing prey. She lifted her body onto her hind legs, and sprang forth towards the kill, catching hold of the hind-quarters and climbing aboard the creature. She began to press her weight against the bucks body, arching her stomach area and clawing at the hind legs near the knee areas. Her jaws were clamped onto loose skin near the neck of the buck. He fell quickly, yet still struggled about on the ground, getting up onto its hoofs and running for a second, (knocking the female off) and then being slammed down once more. She tried to stay on, waiting for Teleka to make his move.

Teleka let her move, she was a good hunter he gave her that. He had ran in after her, his job was to keep others away as a couple had charged towards him but with a snarl and a roar they soon ran off.
He tensed his muscles and flexed his claws as he pounced at the bucks head. His claws entered the skin quickly and he shoved his mouth over the bucks to suffocate it. If she wanted Kijinga could get hold of his neck but it the buck couldn't breath then at least he would settle down a bit. He wouldn't ask but he hoped that she wasn't hurt when chucked off the buck.

Kijinga fumbled slightly as the male came forth and clamped onto the muzzle of the buck. She watched him, through golden eyes that widened with exhilaration. She mumbled something under her breath, before clawing her way up the back and wrapped her fore paws about the neck, digging her claws deep into the flesh.
She felt the creature slow, and soon fall flat against the earth. Her jaws tightened as it fell, keeping the same grip on the back of the bucks neck as she had when it was moving. Her tail was curled high above her back and her muscles were tense and her breathing hard. She wasn't going to let this one go. She glanced to Teleka, smiling through her grip, then pressed her left paw onto the neck of the buck and pressed firmly, allowing her to slowly remove her jaws for a brief chat.
'Told you-' she gasped, panting furiously. 'I could handle it.'
And even with a few minor scratches and bruises, she was still itching to run after yet another, plump prey.

Teleka smiled as the animal went limp, dead at last. "Yes I know you did. You are one of the best hunters I have seen, I will admit that!" He looked to the buck and then at the plains, the herds were watching them from afar now. Stupid things.
"Will we take this back to our lands? Safer there, Hyenas dont dare cross our borders." He was wiling to carry it back for her as well but he wouldn't offer, he would just see what happened, he didn't want to upset her again now.

Kijinga released the beast from her mighty grasp steadily, and smiled to Teleka, nodding in agreement. This was one of the many times she enjoyed seeming conceited. 'Yes, well i'm glad you had little doubts. Your an excellent hunter has well.' Interesting techniques, she thought humbly, but a skilled male nevertheless.
She slowly nodded her head, blinking blandly back into reality and realizing she was not in her home turf. The female peered about, and could already see the scattered, murky brown dogs gathering about their kill. Quick little bastards. Her lips curled and her fangs began to bare threateningly. She took a peak at the dead buck, smiled, then looked back up to Teleka. 'So, do you wish to carry the creature, or would you rather we both?' It wasn't, honestly a long run back to the Firekin lands, but walking there would take time and patience. The creature was large, and had horns which would easily get in the way if carried by the easiest section to lift, the neck. She waited for the males response, the saliva in her maw gathering and beginning to become a bother.

He smiled at her, "I will carry it, you keep an eye on those darn dogs!" He smiled at her and winked, "Might be bringing two meals back then!" He chuckled as he grabbed the buck by its neck and started to drag it. Once they were across the borders it wouldn't matter so much but they had to get it there first.
He started to drag it, ignoring the dogs, Kijinga couls look after them, she proved her hunting and fighting skills. A smile was on his face as he dragged the buck across the borders. It was hard work but the princess, a nice princess had hunted with him, to him, that was something to be proud of.
He continued to drag the buck someway, checking to make sure Kwana or Kimeti wasn't around to steal it from them he dropped the beast and turned back to Kijinga, being a princess it meant that she should eat first, or that is what his insides were telling him anyway.

Kijinga peered about, watching the dogs come forth, letting out yaps and barks that signaled, they were prepared to attack. And Kijinga wasn't used to these sort of encounters, so she wasn't sure how she'd handle it exactly. She watched the male lift the prey into his jaws and trot off, and soon she followed. Her paws moving quickly against the earth and her eyes darting about in a flurry. She caught up to the male quickly and smiled. 'Yes well let us hurry, please.'
She waited for him to move, before she'd go on. She had to make sure those pesky creatures didn't attack him or their food.

He dragged the buck further into the lands and then let out a roar. He laughed as the dogs scattered and ran in the opposite direction. Oh how amusing those creatures were! "You may eat first princess!" He bowed his head polietly and laid down next to the kill, yawning he shook his mane, it was growing, still. It would stop and the day it did he would be a fully grown adult witha big fluffy mane, oh the joys.

Teleka smiled and stood to take his turn at eating. He took alot of the food, his body was growing and being male it was natural to be fat! He ate as much as he could and he was happy to have some meat inside of him at last.
Once finished he laid close to Kijinga looking at the left overs. "You still hungry at all?" He smiled at her and then laid his head down on the ground. "So how come your more pretty then Kwana but yet she is the one who seems to think that she is the best looking?" He stretched his neck to look at her. He was expecting her to pounce him and try and rip him apart but either way, he couldn't keep the truth to himself now could he?

Teleka laughed, "Your bright pelt is part of what makes you look so lovely, but if you wish for me to be quiet, then there is no reason why I should disobey your request!" He smiled at her and sat up stretching his legs. He turned to look at her a sweet smile on his face. Could he risk it? No harm in attempting! He walked over to her and nuzzled her head briefly and ten bowed his head before stepping back a little, this was going to be interesting, if she liked him and how he was that is.

Kijinga chuckled softly. 'I suppose there's no arguing with that.' And oddly enough, she meant this whole-heartedly. As she continued to rest, her ears twitching with the gentle yet irritating occurrence of flies, she spotted the male lifting onto his full height and approaching her. Immediately she too lifted, curious and compelled to wonder what he was up to, yet as he stopped at her form and nuzzled his masculine head against her own, she felt flushed for a third time. Her ears flicked back and her lips curled into an 'O' fashioned. She was surprised, and embarrassed, and did not know what to think. As he took steps away from her, she simply stood there, staring at the ground. Was he honestly this interested in her?
She frowned slightly. Though she had no intentions of doing this, she knew she couldn't stay with the male any longer. She herself wasn't sure if Kwana was interested in Teleka, and if so she did not want to anger he sister. So, as quickly as she could, her mouth opened and words quickly came tumbling out 'Oh, Teleka. I have enjoyed your company, I really have! I enjoyed our hunt and our little time together but it seems I must be off now, I do not want to...worry my sister.' She quirked a brow for a brief moment before bowing her own shimmering head and turned about, at a quick sprint down the dunes.
Honestly, the only thing that ran through her thoughts at this moment was Teleka, she couldn't think of anything better that could have happened to her, and yet she wondered how she had screwed this up. How in one instant, the moment she felt could have lifted her sorrow's and brought some sort of hope into her lands was thrown away because she feared for the feelings of her sibling. Oh, how silly she was to be so stubborn and thoughtful at the same time.
