~Hideki Uchiro ~ 十二Junibantai, Fukutaichou 十二 "As much a child mentally, as in appearance." Hideki chuckled under his breath and couldn't help but notice this new woman approach. He, himself, had never seen her in his life. Must be someone new, but he never really payed much attention to the new recruits, aside from their statistics to even enter the Division, something that went through both he and Hei.
Upon letting the child have her fun and looked at Ntozake with a painfully apparent face of boredom and slight irritation. It really read 'Are you really listening to that?'. He sighed out and spoke, motioning for her to come closer,"I haven't seen him. Probably held up somewhere. For future reference. Don't wear those to 'work'. We clear?" He was sharp and to the point, but it would work, he hoped. He also hoped for her to have common sense that goes past what someone 'ordinary' would do, and continue following him and the little girl as the continued walking after speaking. He held up his right hand, all fingers extended, and, with and odd contortion of his hand, made a D. If she had the sense to understand it, it would be Division 5, if not, there would be a small note on the ground where he executed a shunpo to leave.

Upon getting hit in the shin's by the small girl, she bit her bottom lip in order to prevent some type of curse from escaping her lips. Just what the hell, man?! Confusion was apparent behind her glasses as she silently watched the small child walk past her and make some demand from the Vice-Captain. Just like a Captain would do their subordinate. Who then hell was the kid? 'Use force if you must...'. Yeah, he would have to. Rolling her eyes, she didn't even catch the glare but instead took out the other earbud that was in her remaining ear. She wasn't going to give up her music anytime soon until the Vice-Captain gave her that little 'tip' of advice. Ntozake didn't want to get on anyone's bad side just yet, but she already figured she did with the little girl. Sighing heavily, she followed the two rather quietly. When the Vice held up his hand, making some kind of symbol that clearly indicated the 5th division before he disappeared using shunpo. "Yeah. Tell me to follow... then disappear using shunpo. What kind of s**t is that?" Ntozake asked herself with a groan as she made her way out of the building and to the 5th Division.

Hideki strolled into his Office with a slow amble that, if one read very slight movements and the feeling behind them, would find that Hideki was slightly depressed. The one person he held respect for, for all intents and purposes, and looked up to was dead. How's that for a smack to the face? He didn't really know how to convey his feelings properly, and masked most anything with arrogance that came naturally to him any way. If one could read him, they were well off in that area of observance.
Hideki moved to his desk on the opposite side of the room. He slid into his chair and slapped his elbows on the desk, placing his face into his palms. He wasn't crying, but was more or less stressed about everything. He could vaguely place what would happen next, but he was unsure. He slid his face up, pulling it on his hands, and placed his chin, now, in his palms. "What the ******** now? What the hell is the Seireitei going to become without him. They are dependent on him whether they see it or not." Hideki rolled his eyes and pushed off his desk, leaning into his chair and stared at the stacks of books all around his office. They lined the border and filled all the walls aside from where the door must slide open.
He moved his hand to top right drawer of his desk and slid it open, revealing, yet another stack of books, however these were older. He took one out and began to read about the divinations of the chinese and japanese peoples, something he found interesting in the Realm of the Living long ago.

The currently one-armed Captain Commander swiftly entered Hideki's office just as he did, if only a few seconds later; it was unclear as to whether she had deliberately followed him or if it was by mere coincidence and she had spotted him in the halls while looking for him. In any case, she remained near the doorway as he moved about, keeping quiet as he sat down and mused to himself. She remained silent and motionless, her Reiatsu nearly non-existent, apparently going undetected by the Lieutenant as he hadn't looked her way, until he spoke of his and other's dependence upon her deceased brother. The statement held a certain amount of truth to it; certainly everyone in the 12th and herself greatly depended upon Hei, mostly Tsukiko and Hideki. Added to that was the amount of protection he offered to the Gotei, even if everyone else remained wholly ignorant to just how protected they actually were. Still, it was no reason to be lost once he was gone, she had figured this out for herself.
Breathing a sigh, Yuki strode over to his desk and sat down in the chair in front of it, talking all the while she did so. "Our dependency makes slaves out of us, especially if this dependency is a dependency of our self-esteem. If you need encouragement, praise, pats on the back from everybody, then you make everybody your judge. To quote someone from the human world, someone I do not know, but it seems popular. In any case, he's gone. Hei is dead and you have to realize that you have pave your own path now. You have two good legs, stand up and use them, Hideki-kun. Or else you'd be doing the deceased a disservice by not getting over it." Leaning forward, she stuck her only remaining elbow on the table and peered at what he was reading.
She remained silent if only for a moment to allow him to process where she might be going with this, then, perhaps to simply confuse him, changed the direction of the conversation completely. "With Hei gone, you should have been the next in line for Captaincy, but Tsukiko took it. I imagine that must make you feel some sense of animosity towards the girl. I will not ask you to explain yourself or deny that statement, just know that she has her own reasons for it. With that said, we certainly can't keep the 13th Division Captain spot open much longer or other powers may look down upon us weak. I came here to offer you that position, to see if you would accept it or not. It is your call, Hideki-kun." Sitting back in her chair, she kept her gaze trained on the young man, despite her desire to speak of the temperature of the room. A red loose-fit halter-top-like garment and a shrine maiden's robe bottoms were not exactly suited to keeping one warm. Normally she would have reverted back to her sealed state, but at the moment, she was trying to keep her Bankai active for as long as possible to test how long she could keep it up. So far, it was going fairly well, though she would be needing food quite soon. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, And the storms their energy, While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

Hideki let out the soft sound of surprise as Yuki sat down in front of him. He hadn't even noticed she was close. Then again, at the moment, why would he? He was to distracted to search, or keep tabs on the area around him. He poked his eyes up, all the while slowly putting the book down off to the right of his desk. He took in her advice and let out a sigh. "I know, I know. I've told Tsukiko the same thing when she was acting, more-or-less, futless. It was me being a hypocrite. Its just strange to me. Him dieing. It was so out of the blue, and he was pretty indestructible too, in the fighting sense. But I suppose I do need to clearly take in the fact that he is dead, and stop wondering how it all came about deeper than I should. Thank you Yuki-Taichou."
Hideki stood as he spoke his response to the tid-bit of advice and he moved over to a book shelf to the left of the entrance of the office, as you walk in. He ran his finger across the spines of the books, letting a sigh out halfway as he spoke about being a hypocrite. He came back with out a book and sat once again, Yuki now leaning forward on her elbow. He looked at her with eyes that held no meaning in particular and were particularly blank of expression, due to their monotonous shade. When presented with the idea of captaincy, Hideki lifted his right hand to his chin and cupped it between his index finger and his thumb. He narrowed his eyes and leaned back in his chair. Taking a deep breath after a few seconds he made his decision.
"I will accept. I feel it will help me grow, mentally, and would be a nice change." Hideki nodded and placed his hands on his desk and tilted his head a little. "Yuki-san, you're clothes seem different. Is this your new thing, or is it something else? I can barely feel you out as it is..." Hideki began to run his fingers in a line, lifting them up and dropping them down, breaking the silence.

⋆⋆⋆∥ELISIA xRIYU ☇【squadxfourxCAPTAIN】 | Entrance from 7th Division Captain Quarters |
Elisia entered the room. To tell the truth, she had never been in Hideki’s quarters before since it hadn’t ever really been necessary for her to come here. It wasn’t as if they were best friends or anything like that. Nodding slightly in Hideki, she wondered exactly why Yuki would have come here. Maybe it was something to do with Hei? There was no point speculating about things at the moment, since she had come here to do a job. All along her way around Soul Society as she looked for Yuki, she had been getting very strange looks. That was most likely due to the fact that she was carrying an arm in her left hand. She lifted it up, cancelling the Kido she had put upon it as she said, “I think you left something behind at Kato’s place.” As she moved towards Yuki, there were several questions in her mind that she wanted to ask but she bit her tongue, forcing herself not to say anything at the moment. What happened to her arm? Why hadn’t she attached it herself? Then again, she knew the answer to the second question since Yuki’s powers of healing might not have been fully restored.
Leaning down near Yuki, she whispered, “Rukki Huang,” as she skipped to her Bankai. Using the sharp edge of a dagger which was inside her pouch, she carefully put Yuki’s arm in the right position before cutting herself and letting some of her blood, and the healing solution inside, drip onto the wound. As she carefully manipulated the solution to reach all areas, the arm and Yuki’s body were rejoined as the nerves reconnected and all the other flesh, tissues, bones etc. reformed and joined together. There was no scar left and when she was done, she healed up her own wound, before sheathing her zanpakuto again and cancelling her Bankai. “It should be pretty alright now, but it might be a little jerky and unresponsive to begin with.” Elisia told Yuki with a smile, hoping that everything would be alright. Shaking herself, she took several steps to the door before turning back to Yuki. Maybe it would be nice to help Yuki a little bit more, since Yuki had basically saved her at Kato’s Quarters and it wasn’t like she needed to be anywhere urgently. “By the way, did you need any help with anything?” she asked. ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

Watching him move around, Yuki was complacent as he spoke to her about his acceptance and then regarding her clothes, yet strangely nothing was mentioned about her lack of a left arm. After he had finished speaking, she folded her right arm in front of her and smiled. "Splendid. I shall draw up the necessary paper work and we shall see about transporting your belongings to the appropriate building. In due time, of course. Once we get that squared away, you may have your Haori and other such identification trinkets, if such a thing exists... You'll have to excuse me, I'm rather tired right now..." Falling silent, she watched Elisia enter out of the corner of her eye and proceed to reattach her am. As she did so, Yuki gave Hideki a brief explanation for her clothes. "Do you like them? I think it makes my breasts look better, and it shows off my navel which is just adorable by all accounts. Rei really does know me quite well, her choice of alternative clothing is to die for." She said in reference to her spirit, stopping her statement only long enough to wince as the nerves were reconnected.
Clearly she did not care that she was asking a male other than her brother if her clothes looked good, because she had been brazen enough to mention what they did to her ample chest. A bold move, yet hardly something that would phase the likes of Hakase Yuki. "In any case, what you see here is my Bankai outfit, a rather new experience for me as well. I'm simply trying to determine how long I can keep this up. So far I'm up to fifteen or twenty minutes. I don't really know, I lost track after about three minutes and am simply playing it by ear at this point..." As she rambled on, inputting extra information that was not exactly necessary, Elisia continued to heal her arm. Her skin healed over last, leaving no scar tissue from the wound Elisia made to reconnect it, but the scar tissue remained from the burn scars that had formed due to the initial cauterization she had performed on herself while using Jinzen. After looking away from Hideki, she looked down at her scarred shoulder, then proceeded to touch each finger tip to her thumb to test movement, rotate her wrist, then finally raise her arms above her head and check to see that she had full range of motion. She lost about a few degrees for the arm's posterior motion when at an angle parallel to the ground, but that would be fixed with stretching.
Smiling up at Elisia as she tried her best to escape, she turned back to Hideki, motioning her right hand towards him. "I was just giving out a promotion, that's all. But as for help, yes... That might be wise. I intend to go see my daughter, and you may accompany me if you wish, thought I don't believe I will need any help." Yuki rose to her feet quickly as if to leave with Elisia, but she suddenly sat back down as if struck by a sudden spell of being lightheaded. "I'm sorry, Hideki-kun, if you would find me something sweet to eat, I'm feeling a little hungry..." Putting the back of her hand to her forehead, Yuki sucked in a breath and regulated herself before continuing with what she had been saying before. "Either way, Tsukiko is sparring with Eriko-kun, so it's possible they may need a healer standing by..." Blinking, Yuki stared at Elisia, finally fully taking note of how different she looked. "What was the reason for the change in appearance, dear? Whatever the reason, you look beautiful." ⋆⋆⋆∥ELISIA xRIYU ☇【squadxfourxCAPTAIN】 Elisia followed Yuki’s hand as she motioned at Hideki, blinking several times in surprise as Yuki told her exactly what she had been here for. A promotion? Oh, wow. That was slightly startling, but then again, they needed Captains, especially since they were facing an enemy sometime soon. While she didn’t know too much about Hideki, from what she had heard and seen, he was quite a remarkable fighter, so that was good. Then again, she couldn’t really say too much anyway about his sudden promotion, since she had just been recently promoted herself. Pulling a genuine smile, she hovered, looking slightly unsure as she was wondering whether a hug or a handshake might be too much for the moment. Instead, she merely said cheerfully, “That’s great, Hideki. Congratulations on your promotion ~” While it would be good to repay what Yuki had done for her, Elisia inside had been slightly hoping that she wouldn’t have to wait around for much longer since she was rather nervous around Hideki. As Yuki talked about Tsukiko, Elisia barely managed to keep a straight face. The calming from before had been good for her, but unfortunately, that meant that she was well aware of her feelings.
Deep in thought, she pulled herself out of it to hear Yuki’s last words, looking slightly surprised. “My appearance? Oh, I thought it was time for a change,” she said vaguely, seeming a little distracted, “And I forgot to mention before…you look very nice too. The red suits you.” She had managed to hear about the fact that it was from Yuki’s Bankai, and she had forgotten to mention it before, due to the fact that she had been distracted by the fact that Kato had been choking to death. Anyway, she drew several deep breaths. “I-I’ll come to see T-T-Tsukiko with you,” she stammered nervously, “But I’ll s-s-see if I can find some sugar for you first. I’m sure there’s some in my Quarters.” While it wasn’t completely necessary for her to go, she needed to get some air, to breathe. She had a feeling that her emotions towards Tsukiko weren’t exactly completely just friendship anymore and she didn’t know what could happen next. Remembering Tsukiko’s kiss, her cheeks flushed red and she quickly bowed to both Yuki and Hideki before fleeing from the spot. Unfortunately, her distracted thoughts ran her into the wall next to the door instead of through the door. Her embarrassment increased and she hurried away faster, attempting to get her thoughts sorted out.

777 Jackpot! mrgreen xxxxxxxxClimb the mountains and get their good tidings. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxNature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. Hakase Yuki 博士雪 Ichibantai Taichō
With the talk of Kato before, Yuki did not find it strange in the slightest at the readings she was getting from Elisia. Increased pheromone levels, increased heart rate, changing respiratory rate and a litany of other changes notable in the body when one is unable to contain a certain feeling, and in this case, it appeared to be a form love. Pushing this aside she nodded and smiled towards Elisia's compliment on her clothing. "Yes, it certainly does, doesn't it? But really, you wanted a change? Was it for a special someone or no?" Apparently she would never get this answer because the girl became quickly flustered at the mention of Tsukiko, something that Yuki overlooked at the moment, and then exclaimed that she wished to get the sweet food for Yuki herself. Eying the girl with interest, she watched as she crashed into the wall while trying to leave, visibly getting embarrassed at this and finally vanishing through the doorway. "She must really like him. A shame my little girl... hasn't... found someone..." Yuki's jaw lowered by a centimeter or so, parting her lips just barely as her eyes widened a little. Apparently the Jinzen had tired her out more than she had expected because she was piecing things together slower than normal.
Images of a few moments flashed into her mind, notably Elisia's visible change when Yuki had mentioned Tsukiko. The girl had begun to feel different the second she had mentioned Tsukiko and had stumbled all over her words when speaking about meeting Tsukiko, not once mentioning Eriko. It was quite obvious by this point; Elisia's feelings Yuki had perceived were for Kato were actually for Tsukiko, something even Yuki had not seen coming. She was thinking of her while in the face of the man that had tried to court some time ago back in the First's Diner, and was quickly embarrassed at the mere mention of her name. "She's actually serious!" She said out loud as the full realization hit her, causing her to rise from her chair abruptly, only to be forced back down by her body's current state.
Assuming Hideki might be a little confused and possibly worried that the Captain Commander was shouting nonsense in his office, she let him in on her level of thinking. "Oh, sorry... It just looks like Yonbantai Taichō has a rather large crush on Junibanitai Taichō... I presume you figured that out though, given your intellect... though I'm not sure how smart you are when it comes to social situations. Science and matters of the heart are very different." A short pause ensued as Yuki adjusted her top and shifted herself in the chair. "I'm sorry, that was rude of me..." Her voice trailed off as she thought exactly how she felt about this revelation. Was she too young? On one hand, her little girl was all but six years old, yet was quite mature for her birth age. Though Yuki did not remain ignorant to the fact that she was still very childish when it came to certain matters of the heart; Tsukiko definitely had some growing up to do.
Then there was the other fact to consider; Elisia was a woman, not a man. To a parent who was very over protective of her daughter, this was a fairly important detail as she would have a viewed Tsukiko unfit to date men at such a young age. Yet... Elisia was much more timid and calm, she seemed pretty in control of herself. Now that she though about it, they balanced each other well; where Elisia lacked in the area of battle prowess and tactics, Tsukiko excelled, but was inferior when it came to social situations, something Elisia seemed to handle rather well when she put her mind to it. "They would be a good fit, and would be able to make up for what the other lacks. Time together would likely make both grow more mature... I honestly can't think of a reason to deny such a relationship." She looked at Hideki as she was expecting him to have some sort of opinion, yet continued to speak before letting him respond. "It's a damn good thing Hei isn't here to see this or we would have to find a replacement Yonbantai Taichō. Haha..." As her laughter died off, Yuki looked solemn, mostly because she felt as though she had just insulted Hei with that tidbit and even more so, she had laughed at Elisia dying, though she hadn't meant it in that way. "Hei..." She muttered to herself as an aching in her heart and loins made itself ever present. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, And the storms their energy, While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

Hideki perked up as he felt Elisia approach. Unlike Yuki, she hadn't really masked or suppressed her Reiryoku, so Hideki felt it fairly early. When she opened the door, Hideki lifted an eyebrow. He found an arm in her hands. He looked over to Yuki, and alas, a hand was indeed missing. How he missed that was beyond him, considering just before Elisia entered, Yuki had crossed her arm across her chest. He watched as Elisia repaired Yuki's wound. Her blood has healing powers? Or perhaps its the Bankai she moved to in conjunction with sacrificing her own 'self' to give out her healing effects. Interesting nonetheless, it will be a riddle I shall solve later.
Moving to a lower drawer, Hideki pulled out another book, this one being a leather bound flipping type book in which he wrote notes and events. He wrote the date and the events which occurred that were important to him, this being the promotion offer and Elisia's power, as well as Yuki's new bankai. "Very well then. I shall wait for your call on when to do everything." Hideki paused in his speech as he listened to Yuki reflect upon her Bankai's appearance. Hideki would call it brazen, but to him, everything was closer to scientific data than actually secrets or information that can't be told. So rather than taking an opinion on any of it, he took as information. "I see. Well it fits you well. I'm glad you enjoy it, as you are the one that needs to wear it. Hehe."
Hideki held a soft laugh at the end of the statement in an effort to be somewhat 'normal'. He wasn't too good with encounters and was usually callous or sharp, but he felt that amongst Yuki and Elisia, as well as Tsukiko and Hei, he should try to act like a person, to some degree. When Yuki mentioned the appearance change for Elisia, he noticed it as well. Though he didn't really realize it, she did change, and for the better, he supposed. He didn't see her often, but right now, she looked pretty nice. "Oh, Yuki-san. Do you like Sweet Mochi, or sweets in general? I have my own stash, as I myself am very fond of sweet snacks." Leaning over to the left side of his desk he pulled out a drawer and, as it pulled up, a metal casing over the opening opened to reveal a large amount of Sweet Colored Mochi, Tea Cakes, and candies from the Human world. He took a few and placed them on a tray on his desk, putting them between he and Yuki. "Help yourself..."
As Elisia stumbled on her words whilst talking about Tsukiko, Hideki found it peculiar and made a small note to pay attention to it. Whoever Yuki was talking about in conjunction with Elisia's behavior, Hideki simply chuckled over it. However, when she burst out with 'She's actually serious!' Hideki shook his head in surprise and tilted his head. When Yuki explained it all, however, Hideki understood it completely. He adverted his eyes with the end of her statement, but didn't take it to heart and responded. "Well, I can't say I didn't notice the behavior, but to guess that there was a liking there, I could not say I did. But anyway, you are fine. I am not all that good so you are pretty much correct in that area, so no need to apologize. It was the truth and nothing more." Hideki bat a hand towards her as he finished his sentence. He let her speak about her feelings toward the relationship between Elisia and Tsukiko and absorbed it all with an open mind. When she mentioned the notion of Hei taking care of Elisia going after Tsukiko, he chuckled with Yuki, though it fell short when she muttered his name.
Hideki averted his eyes and had a look of some sort of unease. "Yuki..." He shifted in his seat and balled his fist as he said her name, before letting it go and looking at Yuki. He went to speak again, but bit his lip, stopping for a second before speaking to her, "Do not dwell on it Yuki-san. It can not be good for your health to do so...Perhaps this move from Lieutenant to Captaincy will be good for us both. It will keep our minds of him," He paused for a second before continuing, "besides, I think Tsukiko is actually planing something. It is just a feeling, but I think she is planing something to get him back." Hideki did not know how Yuki would take this, or if she knew already, but he felt it might give her a sense of security.

1000 xxxxxxxxClimb the mountains and get their good tidings. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxNature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. Hakase Yuki 博士雪 Ichibantai Taichō
His question sparked a strange reaction in her, but only because she had been so reserved since she had come to terms with Hei's death during the fight with Dolor. Hearing him say Tsukiko was trying to bring Hei back made her heart skip several beats. Her jaw tightened, she gripped the armrests so hard that her knuckles began to whiten and her entire body tensed up. Several long minutes passed as Yuki steadied herself and regained her composure, which was a very difficult task given the information she had just received. Finally, after seven full minutes of silent torture, Yuki exhaled deeply and began to breathe properly for real this time, her chest heaving as she brushed her waist-length black hair back and mopped the sweat from her brow. "I would be lying if I said I hadn't considered that she was trying to find it... A way to bring him back, that is. I guess that's why I'm not with her every second of these days, because a part of me believes that she is indeed capable of gaining the means, she just needs to be alone to figure it out. That may explain why Aurelius-chan has been regenerated, but then again perhaps not.
Honestly I don't know what is going on in that girl's head, I may be her mother, but that girl has been more distant and detached from the outside world than Hei ever was. At least he confided everything in me eventually. It may have taken days or weeks after he began to feel a certain way before he told me how he felt, but at least he did it. Truthfully, the only time she's ever come crying to me about how she feels was a week ago today when she was thoroughly upset that Hei was dead. I can't tell you how wonderful that made me feel. I know she loves me, but for some reason she chooses not to confide her every feeling and thought in me, which saddens me, yet at the same time I can understand. I thought for sure she was devastated with Hei's death, but her mood, well you saw it, it changed the second Dolor arrived. It doesn't take a genius to tell she's planning something, and I certainly do not buy into what she said her intentions were, but you know... part of me just wants to leave it alone. I have not let go of Hei yet, Hideki-kun. My body aches for his touch, my ears are begging to hear his voice again, and my mind is screaming that it misses being in sync with his. Our minds were almost one, maybe it's because we're twins, I don't know... but all I know is he's gone and I can't feel a thing anymore. It's like, I've accepted his death, but I don't agree with it. That... that is probably why I have made no move to stop Tsukiko from trying.
I miss him, more than words could possibly express, so I let her continue. But at the same time I do not wish to get my hopes up only to have them come crashing back down. That would hurt way too much. So I stay silent, I ignore the idea of it happening, and I try to come to terms with the fact that it may never happen. Because... wouldn't it coming true when I thought it wouldn't be so much better than if it didn't come true when I thought it would?" She posited this statement to him as she looked towards his bookshelf with a serene expression. Despite having conversed lengthily about Hei and despite longing for him so much during the length of the response, she hadn't changed her expression, but instead maintained the same angelic disposition that she gave off at all times. Strangely, it almost felt a little moreso, something only witnessed when she was around Hei. It may very well have been that because of Elisia and Tsukiko, she at least had something to look forward to in the future.
Taking a mochi from his desk and sticking it her mouth, Yuki watched Hideki tentatively as she chewed. She honestly did not want him to answer her long-winded speech because she felt it might destroy her thought process, which was very delicate at this time and something she was trying to overcome. Blinking, she swallowed, leaned forward onto his desk, folding her hands on one another, lacing her fingers together and sitting her chin atop them as she stared at the books yet again. "I'm sorry for unloading on you, Hideki-kun, but one must get everything off their chest once in a while, even myself... One more thing, Hideki-kun, while we are alone. Regarding the Hōgyoku; you have it? My logic refuses to allow me to think otherwise as well as my daughters accounts of what happened a week or two ago. Not that I am suggesting that you will, but please do not lie to me. I know when people lie, Hideki-kun, and the only reason I am careful to make sure you know this is because I know well that you of the 12th Division work heavily in secrecy and do indeed have the tendency to lie when it comes to your work. Now, it is my right as the Commander of the Gotei 13 to have access to all of your files and inventions, but there is only one in particular that I care to take back into my possession as I am the sole heir to this certain piece of technology. The Hōgyoku, you have it, yes? If so, I would like it back as you certainly cannot take it with you to the 13th Division and Hei would roll over in his grave if Tsukiko got a hold of it while in her current state." She asked plainly, her light air leaving her body as she became more serious and to the point. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, And the storms their energy, While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

____⌠ H i d e k i < ⌂ 朱 出 来 […] 得 血 ろ ⌂ > U c h i r o ⌡▬▬▐ J ŭniB a ntai FukuTaichō Feeling:A n A n x i o u s T h o u g h t "Truth is simply a conception..." Hideki felt a bit honored that Yuki was confiding in him. It made him feel 'closer' in a way, and it seemed to help her mood some. He knew she was clever and all the same as Hei, intellectually. This was clearly shown when she said she hadn't considered it all. He felt slightly bad for Yuki. He knew most of what happened with Tsukiko. She was killed but brought back via Hei. But she didn't remember Yuki as her mother, at least to the point of admitting it. Yuki, as a mother, wanted Tsukiko's happiness, and gave it willingly, all the while sitting back and watching Tsukiko without her knowing she was her mother. It must have be hard, knowing but not being acknowledged. But now that she was now acknowledged she still hardly knows what goes on with Tsukiko.
It hurt even Hideki to hear it all, though he refrained from showing it at all. He simply watched her attentively and listened. She certainly had a lot on her mind. Hideki, upon her ending the speech, simply nodded. She seemed to be composed enough after letting it out and he felt lengthening the topic over her loved one would only create more stress, mentally, for her. When she ate a mochi and leaned forward after finishing it, Hideki grabbed a tea cake and popped it in his mouth, chewing it at the beginning of her next statements. When she apologized, Hideki simply shrugged with the air of 'It is fine. I am glad it helped.' However, when mentioning of the Hōgyoku came about, Hideki nearly choked on a the mass of tea cake going down his trachea.
How did she even know I had it with me? I put it in my robes before anyone could venture a look, and she came even after that. Perhaps it was when she healed me, or maybe she had simply ventured a guess that Hei would do that sort of thing? The guess was as good as anybody's.... Clearing his throat after the thought, Hideki allowed her to finish. He sighed and stood from the desk, bending at the hip to touch his toes, letting the blood circulate. "It is true I have the Hōgyoku, and I will not refuse you it. I simply have a question. What shall you be doing with it? The question is out of pure curiosity, of course, so if you feel yourself no need to divulge the information, that is completely fine. I understand your position and will not deny you." Hideki moved his right hand into his robes and shuffled around.
After a few seconds, he removed his hand and revealed the Hōgyoku in all of it dead glory. It was dormant and had no ethereal glow; it was simply a rock, for lack of any better word. Hideki placed it onto the desk in front of Yuki and nodded. "There you are, Yuki-san. The stone its self. Completely useless at the moment, but it is nonetheless." With that, Hideki sat down and leaned back into his chair. Waiting for her response with a glazed look.
"...Where nothing is in stone."

809 xxxxxxxxClimb the mountains and get their good tidings. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxNature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. Hakase Yuki 博士雪 Ichibantai Taichō
The fact that Hideki nearly choked on his food when Yuki mentioned the Hōgyoku did not go unnoticed. It wasn't too long before she knew why he had done that, though regrettably it took her longer to figure it out this time around, due to her sleep-deprived mind. After Hideki plopped the Hōgyoku, which she could tell was dormant without his help, she whisked it off the table just as quickly as it had been placed and inspected it before setting it back down. As he asked about her intentions of having the Hōgyoku in her possession, she merely cast him a smile as she rummaged through her robe bottoms with her right hand. A few seconds after he had finished talking, Yuki finally removed a small tube and flicked her hand towards the door, sealing it with black chains that engulfed the entire door in a matter of seconds.
She stood, picked the Hōgyoku up with her free hand and ventured to an open part of the room and lifted the tube to chest level. After breaking the glass with her forefinger and thumb, the contents of the tube sprayed out and six pointed pillars rose out of the floor in a concentric circle around her. The flesh around her hand and arm was peeled off her body in a ribbon-like fashion and fell down to the skin still intact at his elbow. Her fingers gained a small, rounded cavity in the middle of each intermediate phalanx as well. Passing the Hōgyoku to her right hand, she pointed her fingers at her chest, which suddenly opened up like it wasn't even solid to begin with, forming a dark hole centered over her sternum which she stuck the Hōgyoku in. After she released it, the orb seemed to take on an state of suspended animation as the shrunk with each inch she pulled her hand from it, finally sealing itself shut once it was out. Momentarily stunned by this odd feeling, Yuki could only watch as the skin on her right arm and hand began to stitch itself back up and the pillars sunk back into the ground.
For a few seconds, her veins became more prominent as her blood cycled faster than before while her body tried to adjust to the stress of this new object embedded in her chest. Along with this, her breath quickened, but only for a moment, and she rose her hand to indicate that she did not require, nor did she want Hideki's help. After a few moments of discomfort, her body settled down, allowing her to move back to her chair. Sitting down, she sat quietly for a moment as she internally battled the Hōgyoku's power with her own. Contact with her Reiatsu, one far beyond a regular Captain's, had caused the orb to awaken once more and it was trying to gain dominance over her body. However, Yuki did not let it and instead used her power over flow to cut the Hōgyoku's Reiatsu's connection to her body, all the while suppressing the object in it's entirety with her massive Reiatsu, which for the moment had become uncorked and was now leaking uncontrollably throughout the room. A few minutes passed and Yuki dominated it, shutting it away in the deepest portion of her soul. Now at ease, she relaxed in her chair and ate another mochi.
As if it had never happened, Yuki let out a small laugh at Hideki's expense of being overly confused as to how she had known about the Hōgyoku's whereabouts. "Okay, but first things first. Judging by your reaction, I can only assume that you're wondering how I knew where it was. I consider myself a very intelligent woman, Hideki-kun. It was obvious where the orb would end up given the situation. The only ones present when Hei changed was yourself, Gobantai Taichō, and Hachibantai Taichō. I am fond of each of you, but the latter two fear such an object, so it was only natural that you had to have picked it up, especially given that Tsukiko said it was nowhere to be found when she got back. That is, of course, the conclusion I reached, but only after learning that Hei no longer had it in his body during his funeral preparations, and he certainly wouldn't leave it in the labs where it could be stolen. Which, of course, inevitably leads back to you. Regardless, my intentions are to simply keep it safe, and the best place for that is sealed inside my own soul. Even if I should die, it shall remain unaccounted for, save the knowledge that you now possess." Leaning back, Yuki flicked her left hand towards the door, removing the chains from it; she hadn't wanted Elisia to waltz in while this was occurring. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, And the storms their energy, While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

⋆⋆⋆∥ELISIA xRIYU ☇【squadxfourxCAPTAIN】 | Entrance from 4th Division Captain Quarters |
Elisia entered again, holding two bags of sugary food in her hand. It had taken her a short while, but hopefully, it would help a little. While the blush from her cheeks had unfortunately not faded entirely, she had managed to keep a firm grip on herself. At least, she had managed to avoid the majority of people on her trip back unlike her journey there, since it would be obvious to all that people would start to ask questions, which was something she was definitely attempting to keep away from at the moment. However, as she looked at Hideki and Yuki, who seemed to be rather serious about some matter, she nearly tripped again on her feet, just barely managing to stop herself and the sugar that she had, from falling face-first into the floor. Her cheeks flushed red again, as she moved towards Yuki, dropping the two bags into Yuki’s laps. It seemed as if Hideki had some sugar or something like that, so it hadn’t been very necessary. She needed to get out, though, and the fresh air had done her some good. Hopefully, she wouldn’t fall or trip into anyone soon enough and she had the courage to be able to look at Tsukiko and not entirely faint. Images of Tsukiko entered her mind, but she pushed them away, instead focusing on the room around her as she looked around Hideki’s office. “Anyway, Yuki, should we go to see Tsukiko and Eriko now?” she asked calmly, still looking a little flustered from her hurried trip. She was going to have to see Tsukiko again, and it was better to do it earlier rather than later, because if they were left alone, that could turn very awkward, very quickly.
