PLOT?
Since the city is apparently spending all of its money on repairing decimated streets and buildings, I was thinking that the students of Destiny City could hold a series of fundraisers to contribute either to the city as a whole, or to specific damaged stores/something. This can be for any reason: maybe out of guilt that certain students in disguise have, seeing as most insurances do not include Sailor Senshi coverage; a desire to help people; being forced to help; having nothing better to do. Whatever floats your character's boat.
And, seeing as this would not be Destiny City without some excitement, maybe some Negaverse kids (or youma, in the case the Negaverse is a bit busy) looking to earn some street cred crash/infiltrate the party, with some students fleeing to henshin up or fleeing to.. flee. WHO KNOWS.
Details
-All schools/factions involved! Generosity does not discriminate.
-Different fundraisers; a bake sale, book sale, people just volunteering time to clean up some rubble. Anything goes, if there's interest in this!
-Several(?) ORP threads 'hosted' by a student or a group to represent the different fundraisers being held
-These fundraisers are all supported by a local charity group; TBD!
-To make things easier/organized, participants will be separated into small groups, starting off in posting order before dissolving into chaos.
-All these fundraisers at the same time, in different areas of the city?? To target different kinds of people, or something, but mostly so one fundraiser doesn't hold up the others.
Please tell me if this idea is totally lame/done already! I am sort of just throwing something out there for some more student involvement, but I would love any suggestions to make this better! smile And feel free to post to volunteer up your kid. (I hope there's interest in this XD)

If that fundraiser thing ever gets live, then I think Alessa can be bullied talked into giving a helping hand. She's a bit too passive to think of doing it on her own, though, so the more people the better. xd

Hey beinine! I think the fundraiser idea is really awesome and a good way to get people interacting, especially across school functions.
If you're interested, I'd like to offer Benji up to the cause, and perhaps meet Cassie as well?

I'll add both of you to the list of participants! As soon as I get around to making it. I'm sure we could work out the Alessa thing in a brief RP, wherein stuff happens and guilt trips commence.
And thanks, Anubis! I was worried that this idea would sound a lot better in my head than written down. smile I'm all for having Cassie and Benji meet, maybe at a sports game? At an after party, or in the audience if Benji is not on a team?

Yup! I have her name on this post-it note temp-list on my computer. (that was a fun RP! We need to throw those two together again sometime )
Also, if Senshi and Nega players are too busy to join in I think we have enough kids to beat back a small, weak youma with bake sale knives and rock-hard cakes. heart

it was fun. <3 and another would be fabulous. i am gonna be busy the next few days studying and stuff (i have put that off too long already @__@), but i will ping you when i have more time?
and ahahaha yes! Vanessa will beat the youma to death with serving platters.

That's a good idea. Yeah, Benji is very likely on the team if it's concerning things like lacrosse, football, etc. An afterparty sounds good! Would you like me to start it or will you?
