I do agree with the anime and manga. As americans most of us are only exposed to so much. Whatever they put on tv or you have teh chance to read.. I mean, yeah I love FMA, Fushigi yugi, and all the others, but thats to limited over here. I love japanese culture. Anchient cultures amaze me. KABUKISTAR, earlier said

However...
I don't love how women are second-class citizens.
I don't love how children are sexualized in Japan.
I don't love how xenophobic Japan can be.

and i agree with him one hundred percent

I don't love how they never release the final versions of games over here.

Being a hardcore Otaku, this is an interesting topic.

And I have little to say on what I don't like about Japan, since a lot of you have already covered most of the points I would've given.

Yay! I love japanese culture. I am enrolled in Kabuki Academy, which is taught by Mariko Ohno. She teaches Japanese language, shamisen(an old japanese instrument), and traditional Japanese dancing. I am currently taking dancing lessons with my friend, Angela. Yesterday we performed at the Tacoma Dome for the first time. The dance we used was 'Hatsuharu Sanbasou', a New Year's dance.

These pictures were taken at the Tacoma Dome. I am the one with the dark brown hair, and the girl with red hair is my friend Angela.

This picture was also taken at the Tacoma Dome. The two women in front are the teachers at Kabuki academy. The one on the left is Kazuko-sensei and the one on the right is Mari-sensei(A.K.A. Mariko Ohno).
