Aiden looked up from her half prepared sandwich when Moira spoke. She seemed a little surprised. For once there was actually someone around that she hadn't met before, it was almost like a miracle.
"H-hello." She sputtered a bit, this was a rare opportunity and she wasn't exactly sure where to start but she didn't want to let it go to waste. "W-what's your name? I'm Aiden." She put up a smile, trying to seem as friendly as possible.

"I'm Moira." She said simply, her smile still there on her lips as she turns around to the other, now holding the items needed to make cookies, at least from what she could remember. Setting what she had down, the half-angel moved to grab one of the cook books there and looked through for a tasty sounding recipe. "If you want to stay, you can have some cookies when they're done."

"oh, really?" She perked up at the possibility. It had been awhile since she'd had anything sweet, mostly because by the time she was hungry she didn't want to wait for something to bake. "That would be nice, thank you."
Well, since she had made the sandwich she went ahead and started to eat it... it was a shame to waste food, after all. "I haven't seen very many people around here... have you been here long?"

Nodding slightly, Moira started to get the rest of the items needed for the cookies she was about to start making, "Yeah, a little over a year.. most people tend to keep to themselves or are generally wandering about." She paused, "Well, were wandering about. There was a bulletin put out today by the elders for all of us to stay on Academy grounds, so you're probably going to end up seeing most of the Students here on Campus."

"Oh... strange how I can never find anyone." She frowned a little. Maybe she just wasn't looking in the right places. "Really..? I didn't see it, I had no idea." That made her a little worried, was something wrong? She had been planning on going into town later to get some much needed fresh air. "We're not allowed off campus at all?"

The woman stopped after she put down everything she needed before turning to look at the other, a hand moving to her hip, "If I read it right, we're not allowed out unless we're in groups or we have express permission to be out and about. I guess this means I'll have to call my boss and let him know that I may not be able to work unless I can get the Elders permission to go out and work." She sighed, her lips turning into a slight frown.

"I see..." Aiden dropped her gaze to the floor, thinking... She wouldn't be able to pass for human even if her life depended on it so there really wasn't a way for her to leave without having a buddy to go along, but the whole point of leaving was to not bother Edmund constantly.
"This makes things very difficult." She sighed a bit, "there's no way they'd let me go out by myself. I hope they at least let you go do your job, it would be a shame for you to have to quit because of a lock down." Aiden finished up her sandwich and then moved to the sink to wash off the plate and knife she'd used.

"I'm sure they'd let me go, but I'd still want to ask." She laughed a little before turning to go back to her baking, or at least the start of it. "Well, if you need anyone to buddy with to go out and get things, I can go with you, but if you're comfortable with a third person I can ask some of my friends if they'd want to join in." She added as she started to mix everything.

"Th-that would be nice... I'm guessing they banned us from leaving because it's not safe to leave so... it would be best. I'm rather fragile." She nodded a little, smiling a little nervously. More people didn't worry her, it was the possibility of getting broken that did. "that's why I'm sure they wouldn't let me go by myself... the whole fragile thing..."

Moira looked back up to Aiden, a little curious due to the 'whole fragile thing' that she had mentioned. "Fragile..?" she asked, wanting to know more, though if the other didn't want to tell her about it, she wouldn't pry.

"Oh um..." She paused to think of a good way to describe it. "My item is glass shards, and I'm a Still Life, which kind of already made me a little prone to falling apart I suppose, so unless I'm prepared to take a hit, I'll probably break." She let out a bit of a nervous laugh. "I actually managed to crack my hand the other day, tripped over something and landed wrong..."

She stopped and listened to Aiden, her eyes widening slightly as she listened, "I guess I should try to not touch you too much." She laughed uneasily, trying to make sure she remembered that little note seeing as Moira didn't want to be the one who caused the still life to completely shatter. Being strong did have it's downsides, after all.

"O-oh... are you very strong?" Aiden hadn't particularly gotten that vibe from Moira, since she didn't seem to look very strong, but she supposed that it was probably her item since Aiden herself didn't exactly look as fragile as glass.
"I haven't... really had any issues with people breaking me accidentally. Even if they did it's relatively easy to fix." She moved back over to the counter where Moira was making her cookies.

Moira nodded, staying silent for a few seconds as she focused on the cookie dough before putting it into the freezer to cool, "Yeah.. I uh, my original not-really-good-at-all-guardians accidentally gave me a pair of fighting gloves for my item, though I guess it's a good thing I don't look very strong, it's always fun to get reactions out of people who think they can pick on me because I'm a girl." She laughed as she leaned back against the counter.

"I never had guardians... my twin sister and I just... existed." She shrugged a little, "but she's been gone for almost a year now, so.... I suppose I know abandonment pretty well." She shook her head a little, "really.. I haven't experienced that. When I went into town in the beginning I got weird looks for being so femininely dressed but not....." she stopped herself, realizing where she was going with that. "u-uh, I mean, it's good to have a defense system. Mine unfortunately ruins anything happened to be wearing at the moment, so I think yours would be more favorable."
