A monochrome teen sauntered into the ballroom, a rather dark smile on her face. Her dress was black as night, sleeveless and hugged to her body, showing off her subtle curves, and it cut off right above the knee. She wore long black gloves, and her black hair was down, covering one of her eyes. Simple black high heels finished her look. The way she walked in and presented herself, one would think that she was going to a funeral...to make fun at the one whom had died.

It was all so...bright. The happy pastel colors made her sneer just a bit, but she wasn't here to play decorator. No. It was her mission to cause misery. No mayhem unless someone snapped. Just spreading the pain as best as she could. She was thinking of perhaps leading someone on only to break their heart later, but the only ones her age were her intended targets, so that was out of the question. Sad really. Very very sad.

She made her way over to the food table and poured herself a glass, sipping it slowly. She didn't care what it tasted like, she just needed the liquid.

Edmund gave Mira a small shy smile back even though she couldn't see it. "Oh. So that's how you knew how I was feeling. That is cool." he paused trying to think of something else to add to the conversation.

He watched Andy walk off towards Deskri and another boy who looked around Deskri's age and then turned his attention back to Mira and Aiden. Luckily he didn't have to come up with anything because Aiden asked him a question. The only thing he had been able to think of to say was to announce he was color blind but he thought maybe Mira wouldn't want to talk about it. He noticed that Aiden seemed uncomfortable about Deskri and wondered why. "Well I didn't really....Um my Mom made me come. She said she w-wanted me to make friends."

Mira smiled lightly at the situation, starting to feel more comfortable with talking to Edmund, at least with Aiden still next to her. She watched Andy walk off and seemed to sigh in relief, she was a little much to handle at that point and had made it a little socially awkward for Mira now. Mira appeared content for a bit before her eyes shot back to the door, this time she had a look of worry on her face. As a girl walked into the ballroom, Mira's eyes shifted into a bit of a glare but softened back into a look of concern. Her eyes followed the girl all the way to the table, and there her eyes stayed, no longer paying attention to anything but the girl, the one she could actually see at this point as she held Aiden's hand tightly.

Rasiel had tried his best to avoid the idea that Andy was also there, just trying to be supportive to Deskri. But it ended up failing when Andy walked up to them after they had sat down and called to him. His eyes shifted upward to look her dead in the face, his face twisted as though taken back by the fact she was standing right there. "..hey there... andy.." he replied back simply, trying to avoid talking to her too long, feeling Deskri squeeze his hand. He looked to Deskri and then back to Andy. "Uhm... nice dress?..." he tried to break the awkwardness of the situation, seeming a little annoyed and stressed out by even the sight of her. He began to look away for a moment, just trying to focus on anything but her, almost as though he was ashamed to even look her in the face anymore.

Andy was slowly getting the feeling the other boy didn't want her there. She frowned even more, trying to just talk to Rasiel for now. She hadn't seen him in a long time, since he left her all alone. She smiled a little when he complimented her dress. "D-do you like it? I picked it out myself!" she responded, a little happy that he actually said something back to her. She managed to have avoided seeing their hands held together until just then, once she looked down, her heart sank and she looked like she could just cry. Andy held in her emotions as she then gave a big smile, ignoring her hurt feelings inside. "Come on, big brother! I want to introduce you to my new friends!!" she half-demanded as she grabbed his other hand and tugged on it a little, smiling optimistically as if nothing was wrong.

"Oh... That doesn't sound very nice of her." Aiden offered up a sympathetic smile, but still, he half wished he had a mother of his own to push him forward like Edmund's had. It was pretty obvious that the kid needed some social experience, perhaps more than himself and Mira needed.

He looked to Mira, a somewhat concerned look on his face. He hadn't payed the monochrome girl any mind, so he hadn't noticed Mira's dislike right off the bat. "Something wrong, Mira?" He asked quietly, voice in a whisper.

Really? It's not enough to just barge in? What if we were having a conversation? God... kids.. Deskri cast a glare back at Andy, and released Rasiel's hand. There wasn't any point in holding him there, Rasiel hadn't even wanted to come to the ball in the first place. "I'll just stay over here, okay?" He spoke quietly, carefully making sure that his tone of voice was flat, emotionless. He'd already given away his dislike for Andy's interruption, so he figured he'd just mask the rest of it with a wall of blankness.

His eyes wandered over the area again and settled on the monochrome girl. His heart stopped for a second. Wasn't that the girl in Sonnet's room? The one that had tricked him? He suddenly felt very afraid, very, very afraid. Why was she here? Was Kagyaku back already? He'd just left! He calmed himself down, giving her the benefit of the doubt. He'd been in a fit of rage back then and the memory was blurry... No, that couldn'tve been her.

"Just drop me off right here," Julian flatly commanded.

"Sir," Charles dryly quipped. "I do believe that the ball is just a few blocks from here."

"Yeah, I don't really want them to see me in this thing." Julian loved the idea of a steam-powered car, but he couldn't bank on the idea of the other children thinking it'd be cool. "I'll give you a call when I need to be picked up, okay?"

"As the young master wishes," Charles brought the car to a stop, letting Julian escape for the first time in a while. Being held up in that mansion was too much. He couldn't wait to live on campus. It didn't take much convincing to get him to go to the ball. His "father" joked that he'd meet a Cinderella, but Julian would've just been fine to meet more kids like him.

On the sidewalk, Julian casually strolled alone. Unsupervised for the first time in a long time. Perhaps, it seemed, for the first time ever to be truly alone. He smiled widely. He wouldn't have to deal with Charles or Cogsworth or being proper for a few a while. This night could be the worst night ever, but he'd still have that happy thought. As he started to approach the ballroom, he began to sweat. What... exactly did other kids his age like to do? He stood outside for a bit, nervously wondering if he should even walk in.

Observation time. Deskri seemed somewhat shocked when he caught sight of her, and now was attempting to calm himself down. Good. That meant that he remembered her at least somewhat. No one else seemed to notice expect the girl with the lackluster eyes. She had been watching ever since she walked in. Sumi guessed that she could see something others could not, not that it bothered her. She wasn't here to be TOO bothersome, just bothersome enough.

Another swig of punch flowed down her throat before grabbing a random treat and nibbling on it. Ugh, was all of this stuff coated with sugar? Still, she chewed and swallowed, getting what little nutrition she could down into her stomach so that her vessel would stay alive. She'd just have to eat, heaven forbid, some vegetables afterwords. Her lips smacked at the unpleasant taste before chugging down the rest of her drink to remove the grains of sugar that still lingered.

She shot Deskri a quick toothy grin, her teeth rather...pointy as she did so before returning to refill her cup, just to put him on the edge a little bit more.

Rasiel looked back to Deskri, shrugging lightly. It was known to Andy that he had a really hard resisting her when she asked him of things. He sighed and stood, letting Andy pull him up to his feet. "I'll just be a minute.." he assured Deskri as before he could wait for an answer, he was pulled and began to walk forward with Andy wherever it was that she had wanted to take him. He tried his best just to tolerate the situation, as he knew Andy was bound to call him out if he resisted her.

Andy pulled him a little harder the last time, demanding his attention away from Deskri. She began to almost drag him away, looking back to Deskri and sticking out her tongue tauntingly at him. She turned back to Rasiel, grabbing his arm and pulling it over her shoulder to wrap around her as they walked towards Aiden, Mira, and Edmund. "You know, it wasn't very nice of you to just leave me all alone out there. I could have gotten hurt. You really wouldn't want your little sister to get hurt, would you? I mean, I really missed you a lot, big brother." she spoke to him, giving a bit of a sad face to him, trying to make him feel guilty and convince him of staying around her longer. She had gotten her cute puppy face down to a science, after giving it to Rasiel, he normally did anything she asked him. Andy smiled to herself, confident that she had Rasiel wrapped around her little finger, and if she had her way it would stay that way.

[Leaving Aiden alone for now. : D;; ]

Deskri noticed the grin on the girls face and all attempts to calm himself down stopped. He wasn't wrong, she was definitely the girl from Sonnet's room. He looked to Rasiel, but the taller boy was already walking away, leaving his panicked look unnoticed. No, no, turn around, come back! She's here, that thing in Sonnet's room is here! His eyes darted back to the girl, still wide, but no words were making their way out of his mouth.

Without Kagyaku he was defenseless, too scared to move or make a noise. Without Rasiel he was vulnerable, an easy target, just waiting to be taken advantage of. He knew these things and it only made him panic more.

Thankfully, Andy broke the cycle with her taunts. Did she really just do that? The taunt was enough to lead the cycle into a new one, one that had the potential to drive him into action. Jealousy. Deskri had often felt this emotion whenever Sonnet was involved, as she was his precious best friend, his one and only best friend. Now he felt it on a whole new level. This brat, this annoying little GIRL was taunting him? Really? Did she know what she was doing? It took his mind completely off of the monochrome girl.

There would be no hiding his newly formed hatred for Andy, before it was just dislike, but she'd crossed a line. Still, he remained in his corner, piercing eyes focused on Andy with a look of utter hatred on his face.

Rasiel seemed to sigh as Andy managed his arm around her. "What are you doing?..Stop it." he commented, having a slight idea what she was doing. He listened to her as she talked of how he left her, his head hanging low and his eyes avoiding her. He really didn't do anything to remove his arm, not realizing that it was even still there. "I...I'm sorry... I didn't want you to get hurt.." he replied, his voice full of regret as she sighed once more. "Just introduce me to your friends and then we'll go about out separate ways." he demanded, still not looking at her as they walked slowly, giving them enough time to converse before they reached their destination across the ballroom. He didn't want to upset her, but he really didn't want to be there anyway.

"We don't have to go see my friends.. We could always just go and hang out elsewhere. It's not like you and that boy have anything awesome to do anyway. Let's run away!" she offered as she smiled up at him. She was trying to use suggestion on him, trying to convince to leave with her. She wanted to bring him away from that other guy, and just take him somewhere where it could just be them and only them. She moved out from under his arm as she then took his hand and began to divert him toward the doors, rather than the friends she had said she was going to introduce him to. "Besides, I know you hate Easter, so let's just get out of here!"

Deskri nearly got up and ran over to Rasiel as he saw them change courses. Were they leaving? Was he being left behind again? The jealous rage fought to live, but was quickly doused in sadness. He should've said something, he should've protested, maybe then he wouldn't be left while Rasiel was led away by Andy.

No, he frowned, Andy was someone special enough to Rasiel to have been mentioned as a method of keeping Obscurite quiet... Protesting wouldn't have been a good idea. The more he thought about it, the more inevitable it seemed that he'd be left behind again. The glare died as he opted to turn away, unable to watch. Somewhere inside he knew it was crazy to go through such mood swings, but he honestly couldn't help it. He just had to hope that he realized he was getting out of control before he did anything stupid. Like leaping off of his chair and snatching Rasiel back. His Rasiel. A bit of the jealousy had survived in the form of possessiveness, after all, they'd JUST gotten together so of course he wanted his Rasiel all to himself.

Edmund followed Mira's "gaze" at the monochrome girl but didn't see anything wrong with her. He turned his attention back to Aiden. "I guess so...I don't know." He pondered a little before he spoke again. "I know she means well." Edmund dropped his gaze to his feet and shuffled them a little before looking at Aiden and Mira again. "And...it's going well so far I think." He offered Aiden a small smile. He liked both Mira and him so far. They were not intimidating and they seemed a little shy too which made him feel less weird.
