"You can't think about it like that as a regret, since, you can't change what happened. But in the future you'll be more careful." She said, hoping that sounded kind and not pompus. She didn't mean to sound so, she was just concerned. She'd hate for Cordy or any of her friends to get hurt by muggers or monsters.
"Know I am these days." Until someone handed her something better than her half-size novelty baseball bat that was her anti-youma arsenal, Imo didn't even like to be out after dark unless she was around people and not far from home. Barren Pines and youma attacks had taken their toll on the redhead. And now she was kind of worrying about muggers too. Huzzah...

She sighed, nodding an acknowledgment to Imogen's words about regret. She couldn't change things, especially not now. It was too late to change any of that... A fact that made her brow furrow slightly as she thought on it before shaking her head, bringing her cup up to her lips.
"I think... I'm going to see about taking a self defense class. I don't think either of my parents would mind paying for that... Or pepper spray." Not that she thought mace would've even worked against her assailant. "Y'know... I never thought about it before, but all of this makes me miss being little... When all you worried about was whether or not you could reach the cookie jar."

"I was a little demon, always after the chocolate chip ones. And that might be a good idea..." Imogen trailed off, obviously mulling over the idea as she took a sip of her drink. While she had her plans to avoid youma, and muggers too of course, if she couldn't avoid it it might be good to have some training. "Would you be adverse to having me come along, if you find a good class?"
Then again, if it was one you paid for, Imo'd never be able to afford it on her budget. Maybe she could find a free one at a local rec centre instead.

"Not at all, Imo. You're more than welcome to join me." She smiled brightly, albeit tiredly, taking a small sip of her tea before setting her cup aside. "I think..." Her hand came up, covering her mouth from an inevitable yawn, a slightly apologetic look crossing her face as she lowered it. "I think I'm going to crawl into bed... Try to sleep, at least. Thank you again..."
Not waiting for much of a response, mostly because she didn't want Imogen to tell her that she didn't need to be thanked, she turned so that she could smooth back her covers and crawl into bed. Pulling one pillow close to her she tugged her covers back up, nestling into the softness of her bed in hopes of forgetting everything that had happened... If only for one more night.

"Sleep well." Poor girl could do with a rest after all she'd been through, Imo thought, though she was none the wiser about what her roommate had really been through. She picked up the mugs and set them on the side. She'd deal with them in the morning. Right now she wanted to curl back up in her warm safe bed for once, instead of focusing on wanting to gogogo do something else.
