Gera looked abck to his spoon shaped hand and let it morph back into its regular state. He didn't seem starteled as the snake bit Kay, in fact he watched silently until another question was posed at him. He had never bothered to change much aside from his hands and arms. There seemed little point to change his legs...though he tried it anyway.
The shimmered and he lengthened them so he was nearly as tall as Kay, though it seemed a bit stretched out and too thin to support his weight he soon fell over. A large thud as he was rather a heavy child.
Trin looked positively ...baffeled. Since Gera never did anything without a direct order she peered past switch when she heard the large thud. Her eyes going a bit wide noticing that Gera had lengtened his legs to resemble match sticks....
"Ah....well I am glad he wasn't a bother...I am sorry he normally sticks to me like glue...I was raelly surprised when i turned around and found him not right behind me."

Kay leaned back from Gera when he stretched out to be taller, about to comment...until the boy started to wobble. With a little cry, Kay lurched forward in an attempt to catch him but failed, and poor Gera hit the ground. With a bit of a laugh, he held a dark hand down towards Gera.
"You okay, Buddy? That musta hurt." The boy's hand was still extended. "Here, I'll help you up." Because he was nice and thats what nice people did. Also, because he knew Switch was in the room and if he wasn't nice he'd get in trouble. He didn't bother telling Gera to shrink his legs to normal; that just seemed implied to him.
"Ah...well, see...I think I have an answer for you there." Switch said uncertainly, looking away from the woman and back at the boys. "Someone gave you a gift box with an item in it, didn't they?" She guessed, carefully avoiding eye contact for a moment. It was awkward to face the Guardians she knew about...but it was even worse facing a stranger. "That item came from this shop...this is more or less his birth place."

Pain was a foriegn concept. Sure it hurt but he didn't exactly register it as pain. He looked to his legs and then looked to Kay's and then shrank his back to normal. He looked at the offered hand a dull moment before finally reaching for it. It was quite possibly the first time he did anything without being prompted.
"Gera...fine. Kay like?" He asked once he was standing up again.
Trin looked to Gera like he was a completely different kid than had been living with her the past couple of weeks. Her attention diverted by Switches comment.
"What? Oh yea...." Her eyebrows furrowed at the memory.
"A strange unicorn man thing named Jiang gave me the box...and...oh..?" She seemed distracted by the information suddenly told to her.
"What...wait...you mean it came from your store?" SHe looked aruond before a frown plastered itself onto her face. "In that case you own me for the damages he did in my home...he ate all my silverware! and broke my kitchen table..."

Kay helped Gera to his feet. Oof, the boy was heavy! Once he was standing, Kay made sure there were no booboos...but he realized quickly that was a useless task. He couldn't tell what was a hurt and what was normal!
"Yeah, that was fun! Right up until you fell over though." Kay lifted a hand, scratching Nahual instead of his head, which upset the snake but didn't prompt him to bite again. "Do me a favor? Don't do anything that'll make you hurt yourself in the end." Because while it was fun to see Gera do stuff like that, it would be horrible if he did it and got hurt!
Switch stared at the woman while she demanded compensation, sighing heavilly. Shifting the Baby in her arms, she pinched the bridge of her nose. "I hate to say this, but there really isn't a shred of proof that is not verbal or heresay that links Gera to this shop." She sounded sympathetic, despite what she was saying. "I don't do this on my own free will. And I barely make enough to support the family; I never charge for the items I know are going to be kids. However...If you can find a useable table or silverware set in here, you may take it." She wished she could do more to help...but on the same token, if she let every guardian demand such things from her, she'd have no home!

Trin only sighed it was worth a shot and she wasn't so heartless to make a mother raising two kids on her own pay for her silverware.
"Fine..then I demand as compensation a photoshot. WIth you and your children..." she declared.
Gera looked to Kay and only nodded his head. He liked Kay..at least he thoguht he did. He wasn't really too sure. He looked behind him when he heard Trin and then tottered over to her outo f habit. He was to stick close to her after all.
"So you finally noticed I was here huh?" She asked though she didn't pat the boys strange liquidy hair she only looked down at him who just nodded his head simply.

Switch blinked. "Photoshoot? I'm not...very photogenic..." And Tek was VERY disagreeable...Kay would probably do it happily, and be a complete ham about it. "But, if it saves me from supplying you silverware, I'll do it. Just the three of us? I also have a stay at home..." Switch trailed off. What would she call Kale? He wasn't a maid, he wasn't her husband...boyfriend maybe, but more like... "...Common law mate...?" She finished lamely, tilting her head. Gee, that was a hard question to ask! They didn't have titles, but they knew that he was hers as much as she was his.
"Hi!" Kay called out suddenly, having trailed after Gera. He stood beside Switch, reaching up to playfully swat at the Baby's wolf tail...which got an unimpressed growl from the infant. Wow, so many grumpy things! First Nahual, then Tek...Sigh! "I'm Kay! Can Gera come play again another day?"

The woman looked to Kay and then back to Gera who seemed a bit surprised at being wanted to play again. SHe was more susprised anyone would WANT to play with Gera since he ...needed more direction than anything.
"I can bring my stuff here," She stated with a nod of her head. "And I can bring Gera again..since you are rather taken with him..." She continued before looking at Gera who was now staring at Kay like he had three heads.
"Gera say thank you and then we should probably be going..." She instructed.
The little boy ...looked to Kay and then Switch before finally back to Kay.
"..T..thank..yous.." He stated monotonously.
Sighing the dark haired woman returned her attentiont o Switch.
"What day would work best for you?"

Kay gave a whooping cheer when the woman said she'd bring Gera, and instead of sticking around to listen to the stupid plans made by the adults. Instead, he went rummaging through a pile of junk...though it wasn't junk at all. He'd gone through the shop on several occasions and made a little pile of things that caught his attention. Gera had caught his attention, so it only made sense that the boy got a present!
"You're welcome, Gera." Switch said with a hint of confusion to her voice, then looking back at the Guardian. "I'm here through the week, I take one day off at least; Here, business hours and such." Reaching out to a tray near the door, she took a business card (that was complete with all of her phone numbers), and handed it to Trin.
"DON'T LEAVE YET!" Came a rather loud cry from the other side of the store. Soon his loud heavy footsteps came bounding back, and he was holding out a pendant on a dark silver chain; the lightly glowing jewel in the middle had a crack in it, which was probably why it was left at the shop. "Here, for you, Gera! Its kinda like you!" It was blue and aquaish and kinda glowly...just like Gera!

Gera blinked as they were ordered to NOT leave. He looked to Trin in confusion as he normally listened to her, but the very demand by Kay brought him to a stand still. When he was offered the pendant he hesistated and looked to the woman beside him who mearly nodded her head.
"Its okay Gera you can take it..it is a gift." She stated with a bit of a sigh.
Gera took the pendant and looked it over. It ...did resemble him didn't it? Strange. He wondered what would happen if...
Trin returned her attention to Switch.
"OKay so ...sometime next week then?" She started when she noticed that Gera had pushed the pendant into his chest in which it...seemed to meld into his flesh.
"Gera!" She nearly shrieked as it was mildly distrubing to see a child shove a metal object into their flesh.
The boy looked to her as if wondering what was wrong. The pendant though seemed to resurface unharmed but firmly apart of his body ...just below his collar bones. It was...rather creepy.
"Ah..."
"No lose..." he explained.

Switch looked at Kay when he offered the present, inwardly sighing at his generousity. Well...it was an item that Kay had claimed, and nobody would want a broken jewel. So in the end, it was alright that he gave it away.
"Yes, just stop by when you're...ready..." Switch's attention was caught by the little boy shoving the pendant into his chest, her eyes wide and staring. The woman's shriek only made her flinch, but the kid had her full attention. Of course...he also had Kay's full attention.
"Gaah!" Kay called excitedly, throwing his arms in the air as he continued on being loud. "YOU CAN DO SUCH COOL THI---Ow!" Apparently, Nahual had just about enough of Kay's yelling, and had set to stop him by biting the boy's head with a hiss. It worked, but he also got a smack out of it. Oh well, at least it worked!
"Bye bye Gera! See you later!" Kay was okay with Gera leaving for today; he'd heard something about next week and that woman had PROMISED he'd come back! So there.
"It won't turn into a kid, I promise. Have a good day!"
