At the offer of help, she wouldn't help but be surprised. It made sense to her and she wouldn't turn it down afterall! "Really? You would do that?" She paused for a moment, "Do you know what your Mom looks like? I don't know what my dad looks like...whenever I ask my mom, she doesn't give me a straight answer and my brothers don't know either."

Why did Niesha sound so surprised? Helping each other was what good friends did, right? Laini continued smiling brightly, nodding her head eagerly, causing Jicho to give a disgruntled chirp as he was forced to retreat backwards to prevent himself being shaken off. "Sure! My mommy...she's white. White and really really fluffy, especially her tail. It's all warm and snuggly and I like sleeping in it."
Didn't know what he looked like? That made it difficult... "Do you know what he's like?"

White and really fluffy. Well then! She'd have to do her best to help Laini. And her first course of action would be to ask her mom if she knew of anyone who fit that description.
At Laini's question she shook her head. "If I look at my brothers and me...they both have wings and horns, while I only have horns. So I guess my dad has wings and horns like my brothers? I....just don't know." She blushed shyly.

Wings and horns? Laini frowned. It wasn't like a description of his appearance would help her much, considering she couldn't exactly spot him in a crowd, could she? She sighed - this would be more difficult than she thought. But she'd persevere, definitely, and find Niesha's dad for her! She smiled war,mly, feeling a purr begin to vibrate in her chest. "I'll try find him, Niesha! I'll ask all my friends!"

She smiled brightly at Laini as she nodded, "I will do my best as well!" She vowed that she would try to help her newfound friend find her mom.
With a glance from her friend towards the sky she then realized that it was getting late. Her mom would be wondering where she was if she wasn't heading back soon. And her mom worried about her the most since she was rather fragile and wingless. "I have to be heading back soon...or else my mom might start to worry about me and that is never good." She smiled at Laini, "I hope we can meet up again soon!"

Laini grinned, her chest heaving upwards as she tried to look as grateful and happy as possible - trying to confer all her feelings towards her new friend in mere actions, since words didn't seem enough. But her happiness was soon broken, ears and wings drooping as she looked saddened, turning her faded eyes to the ground with a shallow whine. "Oh...okay. I should probably go too. Pala will be sending Zebadie after me..."
She didn't want to go. Why did she always have to leave her new friends?

She could see the disappointment in Laini's face as she took a step towards her friend and said, "Don't worry! Tomorow is a new day that we might see each other and go on our mission together!"
And with one last look at her friend and the strange, winged-thing on her shoulder she then turned to head back to where she had came from before her mom would start to worry.

"Okay..." Laini mumbled sadly, waving her paw as a farewell to her friend, standing and 'watching' as she left. A small squeeze from Jicho's feet let her know when to stop, the Goddess sighing, turning and padding dejectedly back to her home. She hoped she could find some friends that wouldn't leave her.
