Serandite had unfortunately-- come across an empty block. Well, it wasn't like she was going to steal a starseed from the first person she found. Serandite was .. picky about her victims. She had standards. She didn't go after people with families.. She went after people who seemed to have a lesser amount of links to the world-- ones that wouldn't be missed. Hobos for example! After all, she was borrowing a starseed.
"Hm. Hm. Where to look? It has to be somewhere seclusive or fast.. But if Tisi or Toby find it first.. I dont like losing very much." Serandite said, in a rather spoiled manner, chin in hand in a thoughtful gesture.

"Oh, thank you for the invitation. I think I shall." She made it sound like he had invited her rather than her inviting herself. Tisiphone gave a short shrug. Having no memory of any other life, to her, she had always been this way, "I suppose so."
Dark eyes glanced over and gave him a significant look, "Were you always the way you are now?"
She had been curious about how the Negaversers came to be, the grunts that had been humans at some point and blessed with the dark energy to serve their queen. Peering back around, Tisiphone caught sight of a few humans dabbling about in the distance. If she wanted to work it so that she could watch the two Lieutenants fight over the same target, she needed a lone wolf of sorts.. she scanned the shadows and alley ways, hoping to find some pitiful human ready for the harvest.

He had never been good at the now-your-questions-are-being-used-against-you kind of thing, and stood there just as flabbergasted, mouth opening and closing without actually making any coherent words.
"Well-" he began again, ready to forge some excuse about the greatness of the Negaverse or something, when it occurred to him Tisiphone was not listening, at all. Sentence entirely forgotten, he too turned to see what she was gazing at, and could have sighed out loud in relief. A good plan, attacking someone who wouldn't be such an obvious target: it was a wonder how he had done his 'Negaverse work' in the first place without someone like the corrupted senshi around.
"Well, uh, you know, we should probably go and find a lone victim, or something." As purposefully as he could, the now-Lieutenant Torbernite made his way out of the more-crowded streets into the back alley chain, which often boasted a small gathering of homeless (where they all kept on coming from was another question altogether). Taking a few steps then looking behind him to see if Tisiphone was still following, he pondered the back-alley intersection.
A loud snoring noise interrupted his train of thought, loud enough that it seemed to reverberate in the narrowed walls around him. Sure enough, several paces to his left lay the culprit, shaggy head leaned so forward it looked as if his neck had already been snapped, both arms cradling an oversized wine bottle. Complete with pirate cap and perhaps a missing peg-leg, the homeless person would have made a great candidate for the next Pirates of the Atlantic.
Not even bothering to speak due to the godawful noise - well, at least he was putting the homeless out of its misery - he pointed at his intended target, as if asking approval from the corrupted senshi.

Ooh. Unknowingly to the corrupted senshi and lieutenant, Serandite was heading for the same hobo from the opposite direction. (If she knew that those two had teamed up, she would call it unfair and probably insisted she teamed up with them too, which defeated the point of the race entirely.)
Hop, step, jump! Starseed stealing time!
She leaped towards the same hobo that Tobernite was pointing out. A sleeping target made starseed stealing so much easier, she thought in satisfaction. Maybe if she won, she could drag both Tobernite and Tisiphone shopping sometime.

"Hmm?" Tisiphone hummed through a smile, pleased to catch sight of Serandite from the corner of her eye. "Well then, I'll let you hop to it." At that she gave him a push between the shoulder blades into the right direction.
"Wouldn't want to take your glory. I'll find my own target." At that she slipped back into the shadows, circling around to find a good perch to watch the events unfold. It was all a game to her; the sleeping man who had likely suffered all his life was nothing more than food for the Negaverse. Her morbid sense of curiosity was perked over who would win the starseed with nary a thought at the man behind it.
