Kerrigan raised a brow at Nathan's faltered smile but shrugged.
About that time, a new voice was heard, "Hi there." came the call of a pleasant sounding woman heading towards the door. She was a bit shorter than Kerrigan, but had the same tanned skin and soft features. The only difference was she had brown hair and not pink. "Has my sister been causing you trouble?" the brunette teased pleasantly to Nathan as she walked over to steal one of her sister's treats.

"No, not at all," Nathan smirked. Was her sister the little girl or the woman with the candy? Hm. He was lead to assume it was the woman.
"I came to make a delivery and the little one saw the dog and...well." Thaddeus was suddenly intrigued by the movement and watched this new lady. Would she come pet him too?!

"Ah. Yeah, happens. My niece likes dogs." the woman agreed, looking down at Thaddeus. "Hey pooch. Are you dangerous or can I pat you?" she asked him with a joking grin before looking up at Nathan for the real answer.

"Go for it. He's never hurt anyone, and I don't think he has it in him to," Nathan smiled and shrugged, "Just keep all food items away from the tub o' lard. God knows he doesn't need it."

Marie snorted, kneeling down to pat the dog. "Eh, no one bites worse than Lucas anyway so I'm not too worried." she joked, scratching him a bit behind his ears.
"Lucas's my cousin." Jezebel told Nathan with a nod.

"Ah, I see," Nathan nodded. Far be it from him to ask just why Lucas bit. He had lived on Gaia all his life and seen all sorts of bizarre things that, to him, by now, seemed entirely normal.
"Well, Thaddeus and I should probably get headed to our next stop. It wouldn't do to have a wedding cake late to the wedding." He stood then and offered his hand.
"It was nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too." Kerrigan agreed, shaking his hand with her free one. Marie nodded in agreement. "I'll have to order from you at some point." the woman agreed, scratching under Thaddeus's chin. "Seeya." she told the dog.
Jezebel seemed sad that they had to go but leaned down to hug the dog anyway. "Bye Thaddeus. Come visit again." she told him.

"Hey, next time your sweet tooth calls, just give me your name, huh?" Nathan smiled, letting the little girl say goodbye to Thaddeus before picking him up and putting him back in the car.
"I might have a deal for ya."
Waving, he pulled out of the drive and headed for his next stop. Thaddeus watched his new friends through the window as they passed.

"All right. See you and thanks!" Kerrigan called with a grin, Jeze and Marie waving. Once he'd driven away, the brunette then tried to steal the box from her sister to grab one of the treats, which resulted in some playful bickering between the pair as Jeze headed inside, looking a tad forlorn. She wanted a puppy!
