Derecho let out a huff of breath as Aleu tried to calm him down but his coat smoothed out and his lips lowered themselves back over his teeth - he'd made his point and while it irked him to back down from his brother now - well he'd seen the little tail tuck and that instant reaction mollified him somewhat, sitting back down he nodded to Aleu and turned his gaze back to the forest, blatantly telling his brother he wasn't interested in fighting with him right now.
"You have to watch what you say to Aleu...she's very... sensitive" He finally said after a few moments of silence "She likes to sing about ho nice and lovely the world and the pack is, I don't think she thinks much about the nasty bits of things but she mean's well' He tried to explain. Derecho was perhaps a bit overly protective of Aleu..and he had been of tempest as well until she went away and came back completely changed. That part still confused him somewhat, made him just a bit more antsy over the sister he still had.

Raiden relaxed a little as his brother backed down. The little wolf cub shook his head trying to clear it. What was he doing? This was his family, he needed to cool down. Sure they hadn't gone through what he had, but it was no reason to be picking fights. Even if his brother annoyed him, they still loved each other. Derecho was right, Aleu didn't see the darker side of the world, and as Naive as that made her, Raiden didn't want to ruin it. Eventually she would have a rude awakening, but for now it was better for her. The world could be a cruel place.
"You're right." He said quietly. "I just forget myself sometimes." It was the best apology he could muster. Sure he loved his brother, but it still annoyed him that he had to apologize to Derecho.
