the boy fox tilted his head and hung it low abit "guess it wasn't that funny. well look like I said if your hungry I have a den not far from here were we could dry off and eat, I've got plenty." he said as he limped forward trying to stay off the one paw as it seemed to be a much deeper wound then he originaly thought but still looked like a clean bite. "please I don't mean you any harm...I'm just tired of being on my own." he seemed to realy be compassionate about befriending her even showing her his home hidden away from most foxes eyes deep with in the forest.

Ni Kishi limped right up to her and sat down infront of her now " because I think your cute for one and second I don't care if you bit me or not I'm use to worse situations and worse pain. pluse I've been gone along time and things have changed in this land. so for all I know thats the new way to say hello and I just don't know it yet."

Where are you from? and what did you say your name was?she finally decided to give this strange fox a chance he seemed a little slow but not mean so what harm could he do?

"I'm from here but I went away for awhile past the mountains and over an ocean to search for epic lands, I recently returned here and begain gathering some food. my Name is Ni Kishi" he sat there tail still waging softly behind him.

Ni Kishibegain to limp picking up some pace but letting the female keep up as they made there way a few miles into the forest, they finaly came across a massive old oak tree that over looked a cliff and below a river and in the distance the mountains, the moon hovering in clear site now just above them casting its luner light upon the home, Nikishi spoke in a calm voice " come on in." as he sliped into the hole.

She followed quietly slipping in with out a sound and sat apon the ground and began to groom herself dry.

Ni Kishi was already drying himself off as well before turning to her "wanna see something really neat? oh and I never did get your name.".

"thats because i didn't offer it to you yet. My name is Maise."she said as she continue to lick herself drie. "i guess so" she said making sure she still had a good shot for the exit.

Ni Kishi lead the way deeper into the den before coming across what appeared to be an inner ledge, the den opend up into a covered area just under the tree but out on the side of the cliff creating a balcony like effect, the moon hung low in the distance now just starting to desended behind the mountains but its rays of white light still broke threw that rain clouds. some of the trees roots hung from what would be the roof, and a pile of thick leaves lay in the center of the room. "well isn't this pretty neat Maise." the twinkle of small stars danced in the sky as Ni Kishi layed down in the leaves as he once again tended to his bite wound by licking it hoping that Maise would come join him at gazing at the stars and the moon as well as the mountains, forest, and river that snaked its way threw all of it.

SHe sinlently followed him deep within she fianlly decided to trust him. as they cam out to a what would be canopy "O moy its soo pretty". she seen him laying down cleaning jis wound she had given him before. she walked over and quietly began cleaning his wound for him. " i'm sorry i bit you. " she said looking into his big emerald green eyes. " i dont mean to be snappy and mean its just that i was attacked when i was a young adault/ teen and it left me permenently blind in my left eye "

"yea I know, I dug it out myself took me a few months to complete but well worth it, a fantastic view and cover from anything out in the woods." he smiled as she came and laid down next to him and begain to clean his wound, he in turn licked her ear and the wound above her eye, even though it wouldn't do anything "its alright I'm use to being bit by others, I'm very passive agressive."

she smiled as she finished cleaning his wound and then lay down with her head on her paws leaned against his side and stared at the stars half awake and half asleep.
