my friend brought the manga to school about two years ago and it looked interesting. then there was an article in newtype about the anime series. it looked good enough to convince me to buy the manga. when i read volume one i knew i just had to keep going on. so now here i am on volume seven in the manga, and already watching the anime series. its fun!!!

Well, in the chilly Christmas of 2004, my friend had given me the first one. I loved it ever since. I loved it to bits. I wanted it.. I had to have them all... all, yessss.... all of them! ALL OF THEM! *cradels her Negima mangas, her eyes wide open, willing to bite the head off of anyone who touches them.*

a frien who likes manga gave me the first book and i got hooked on it and i couldnt stop lmao!!!! 4laugh rofl

Saw a copy of it at the store. Saw Ken Akamatsu's name on it and was instantly sold.

After reading Love Hina I looked around for other Publishings by
Ken Akamatsu. And found Negima and was atomaticly enticed by it.

I'm a late come-er also, Volume 7 and volume 8 was 2 months away.
Well I met some friends in Gym class and they were animafanitics and well i told them i hate Manga (I thought all it was, was speed racer and pokemon) Well they brought me tons and tons of manga to look at, to show me i had the wrong idea. so after 2 weeks i've read Soo many Manga books i cant even remember them all. Well the last one they brought me was Negima. I read volume 1 and didnt get it, so i read it again and I got it but wasnt really interested. BUt seeing that i actually reread the manga, they brought me 2-7. I read them and I think it was volume 5 was when i was hooked. I became so obsessed i wanted them all. I know proudly state I own 4 manga books. biggrin lol

Me, I had only heard of Akamatsu, never even read Love Hina. I was sorta randomly looking through the manga section at Books-A-Million, started reading Love Hina, and found Negima twenty minutes later. And people say a short attention span will get you nowhere.

I found out about it after seeing Rune Venus's signature. And then figuring out it was made by Ken.
And since I loved Love Hina, I decided to check it out.
And I enjoyed it.

I found out about Negima through NewType USA magazine, woof. I thought it was appealing how they describe to be like a Love Hina/Harry Potter crossover or somthing, woof.

Was at the bookshop looking for new manga, and saw this particular one that had a Harry-Potter lookalike kid holding a staff and a redhead girl with ponytails.
Read the summary on the back.
Instantly sold because I like Magic. And Akamatsu's mangas rock.

My best friend Kara bought the first 3 volumes for me for my birthday. I wasn't so sure about it at first, since at that time I knew Ken Akamatsu had made Love Hina (which at that point, I pratically thought it was porn.... I know different now ^^ ). But I read it anyways, since Kara really seemed to like it, and I've loved it ever since and am pratically a maniac ^^
