Blinking at the man, she arched a brow and moved her hand away from him, tucking her hands into her lap instead.
"Why would I need to adopt?" Nope, this kid was pretty damn dull--thick-headed if nothing else. "Last I checked I was female, so," he was so weird...but cute nevertheless.
Stretching her arms over her head, the hybrid sighed and pushed herself to stand, flicking her tail curiously against the backs of her thighs. "Walk with me," she motioned for him to get up, "I'm sure you have more questions." About a lot of things--and apparently she had a few to ask herself.

Blushing slightly as her hand was taken away, Remy moved to stand and shoved his hands into his pockets. "Well yeah but..." Puffing out hsi cheeks with a gesture from his pocket, he huffed and bounced on his feet slightly.
Eh, if she didn't want to talk about her sexual orientation then eh.
Nodding, he smiled softly and followed after her, ears twitching curiously.

Moving to hook an arm through his own, she pulled him out into the street and past the people wandering the sidewalk.
"But?" she questioned, looking over to the other with a smirk. She knew he had to have questions about...whatever he was curious about, which now she was curious about. At least he was being touchier with the runt, right? He always seemed like he needed to cuddle or whatever before he disappeared.
Flicking her ears forward, he reached up to run her fingers into his cropped hair, chuckling. "You find a girl yet?"

Smiling softly and blushing lightly, Remy looked down a his feet and shrugged. "Well two girls...y'know...babies," he muttered quietly. Even he was kind of iffy about saying anything, since she seemed pretty hesitant to talk about it.
Blinking at the touch to his hair, he laughed quietly and huffed. "Nah." He hadn't really been looking...he was hopeful okay? Kind of pathetic at this point, but he couldn't help it. "Have you?"

"Two girls?" She questioned, glancing over to him with an arched brow. Then came the second question--had she found a girlfriend?
Laughing despite herself, she tugged his ear and brought both arms up to cross over her chest, "I think you have some information wrong somewhere," she cooed playfully, shaking her head.
"I dont date girls," sure, she would if she found an interest in one...but so far all the girls she'd come across were annoying over too much like a man anyway. Wow...Remy was just too much for her. Cute, naive, a little dull--but still enough to make her laugh.

Information wrong? But she had said..."B-But you said..." he stuttered, a bright flush covering his cheeks as he slowed to a stop, staring at her. "You said you liked girls..."
So she wasn't a lesbian?
So she liked guys?
So he kind of had a chance?
Tugging at his ear and flushing even brighter as she laughed, Remy pouted slightly and shuffled along beside her again. He kind of had a chance, she liked guys. Of course she probably liked those guys that were all tough and macho and could beat someone up and had lots of tattoos and piercings, not a skinny little runt with no tail who could barely eat meat without feeling guilty..."S-So...have you found a boy, then...?" he mumbled, staring down at his shoes, not knowing if he really wanted to know the answer or not.

"I didn't say anything," she murmured, chuckling slightly. "Cant always trust what I say, especially when I have mood swings like I do." Which was about right...she usually got mad and said things she didn't mean, or she just blabbed out random s**t that might or might not be true.
Humming when he questioned her about a boyfriend this time, she shrugged and continued on towards the park for the time being. "Have you?" She questioned, looking to him with a smirk. She was just teasing of course.
"But no, I haven't..hadn't really been looking, but.." She glanced at him, smirking, before reaching up to pinch his blushing cheek, "You're cute. That embarrassed?"

"You did too, you said you liked girls!" he squeaked, pointing accusingly. "You lied to me!" He wasn't angry though, more like...relieved. Well kind of angry that he had spent this entire time thinking she was gay, but..
"No I haven't found a boyfriend," he huffed, crossing his arms over his chest as well. "I don't lie, I like women," he grumped. Kicking at some rocks, he chewed on the inside of his cheek for a moment before glancing at her.
Hadn't been looking?
Was she looking now?
Blushing brighter at the compliment, Remy snorted and batted her hand away, focusing on a spot on the ground. "No, I'm not embarassed..." he muttered.

She said she'd date a girl if she found interest in one--which she hadn't, which didn't make her an auto-lesbian, it just made her bi if nothing else.
Smirking at how butthurt he seemed to get about being called gay, she chuckled and flicked her tail, ears still perked and swiveling at the different noises in the park. Luckily there weren't many people around right now...or she'd be headed towards the foresty area where they didn't seem to like to go.
Her hand being pushed away just made her smirk, crossing her arms behind her back and looking away from him to watch the small amount of humans as they walked. So she was paranoid of humans...sue her.

Smiling softly as they walked along, Remy shoved his hands into his pockets and hummed quietly. It was nice, just being around her...and if that was creepy, so what. He liked being around Kai. She made him feel good, even though she picked on him a lot.
Hesitating a moment, he bit his lip before hesitantly reaching over and taking one of her hands, twining their fingers together.
Too forward? She'd probably pull away, or think he was just being nice or something...Looking away with a blush, he swallowed, his little tail wiggling happily unconsciously. Stupid tail.

Kaikara glanced over to him curiously as he took hold of her hand, sighing softly before squeezing his hand lightly in a reassuring manner. At least he'd actually made a move, she was counting the days before he either gave up or he blurted something stupid out.
Either way, she expected it.
"You got your eyes on someone?" Kaikara questioned, almost snarkily--maybe she was being too cocky, and he was just being friendly...but this was a bit beyond friendly at this point, she assumed.
Who knew, though. Could be his childish attitude that she'd noticed so often...at least he was growing up.

Taking in a breath, Remy blushed brighter and nibbled on it nervously. She squeezed his hand, so...maybe...Gently running his thumb along the side of her hand, Remy fidgeted with his other hand in his shirt.
"Yeah..." he mumbled quietly. "Kind of...but I don't think she's interested so..." Sigh. Maybe Kai wasn't getting his hints or something...bah. Maybe he should learn to flirt or something.
Or just say something.
No way, he'd pee himself first.

Glancing over to him, she smirked despite herself at the blush that crossed his cheeks. The light stroking of her hand was nice--surprisingly--and the closeness didn't bother her all too much. Which was equally as strange, since she preferred little to no contact with other cats...especially physical contact.
"Oh? Really? Well if she is interested, she might find us holding hands a little offensive, dont you think?" She teased, giving his hand a light jostle before returning it between the two of them. Guess it wasn't too bad.
Even if it was a little embarrassing...she had a previous reputation, didn't she? That all went down now.

"Y-Yeah..." he muttered, pulling his hand away and shoving it in his pocket. Strike one. And the fact she didn't really show any signs of being upset about him being interested in someone...well. That could be a strike two?
Puffing out his cheeks and reaching up to ruffle his hair, he sighed and looked away, his blush darkening. "I wouldn't want to...offend her..." he mumbled, staring down at his sneaker as he scuffed a toe in the dirt.
"And I wouldn't want anyone to think we were...together or anything, y'know...in case there are any free males around or something."

Rolling her eyes when the kid pulled his hand away, she waited for him to lower his hands back down before grabbing up his hand with a sigh, re-intertwining their fingers to pull him back to her side.
"That's the thing, I dont want any free males to think I'm single," yeah, she finally just gave up on having him ask her or do whatever it is males did to make girls fall for them and blah blah instant love s**t. She just knew he liked her at this point, and she was fond of him, nothing less, but maybe more.
"And you're offending me by thinking I'm stupid, but not too bad, since I'm thinking I'm not the dullest one of the two of us."
