The Jolly Green Giant Rath stormed back into his skeleton, dumping his stash in the corner. Those... things were annoying and weird and what happened to the green one? It got big, really fast, he wondered if he could do that too. Rath frowned as he concentrated and focused on making his body go out. He growled and jumped around but nothing. He tried to disappear like the other one did, and all he did was drip that slimey stuff he usually did. Rath sat down on his fuzzy pile and frowned, these things could do special stuff and all he could do is drip.
Rath picked up his squishy friend and hugged it as he lay down, trying not to cry and burn things like he usually did. He huffed and pouted and soon drifted off to sleep. It was hours later when Rath peeped open his sleepeh eyes, he had felt alot better. He yawned and stretched, enjoying it and sat up, ruffing his hair. Standing up, Rath blinked in surprised, looking around everything looked smaller. The room looked tinier and he couldn't understand it, had his home shrunk? Running outside, Rath stood stunned looking at the world around him, the whole world had shrunk!
Looking himself over, Rath couldn't help but stare at his hands and arms. They were longer and bigger. He looked down at himself and patted himself over. It was really strange, but he realised nnow he was the one that grew, and not the world that had shrunk. Rath silently giggled and bounced around cheering to himself. He could grow! yay!, Rath grinned and wondered what else he could do.

[PRP] Out of the Claws and Into the Fire
Rath sat in the corner of his room and slapped some brown goop onto the box sides. The sides were weird these days, they had started to change colour. He liked the colour though, he'd have to go get some more foods later in the place Kaelin showed, he was running out.
Putting the stuff awayhe licked the shiney clean of brown goop and then munched on his goopy box. Rath noticed his bites were really big now, just like him, and he'd been eating more and more too.

Having finished a large portion of the temple's floor, and Friend being at Haven with the rest of the Slytherin-Natenhar family today, Casala had felt like exploring. She hadn't done so for a long time, anyway, and how was she going to keep the different parts of the isle fresh in her mind if she didn't visit them now and then? Veron supported the notion fully, having had enough of being chased around by Mirim. Casala teased it that it would only end up being chased by something else, to which Veron replied that anything without that 'annoying fairy tinkling sound' would be fine, to which Casala simply smiled.
Once out exploring, Casala realized that she might be able to venture into parts of the isle that she couldn't before, now that she's more capable of defending herself. The Dragnid Forest looked particularly interesting, especially since she'd never dared to go near it when she was little. With Veron's warnings in her ear, the angelic teen headed off into the verdant green, most definately unprepared for the dangers within.

Rath picked up his shiney toy and his goopy box and poked his head outside. He was thirsty, the goopy box made his mouth all dry and sticky, it was still yummy though. Stretching, he walked outside but stopped and turned around. Putting his squishy buddy on the spot where Rath just sat, Rath commanded it silently to watch his house while he was gone. Breaking a bit of his food off he put it in front of his friend and left the house once more.
Rath went walking into the dark planty place. There was a spot he would go to get some wet some that was good drink. He just hoped some stupid fluffy things wouldn't think Rath was foods, Rath was a thing, not foods.

While Rath knows where the 'wet' is by heart, Casala finds it quite by accident, namely by falling into it at top speed while running from a lumbering bear-like creature with long and curved claws that tear up the earth as it strides after her on all fours.
Veron buzzes that coming to this forest was a terrible idea, and Casala is too busy running for her life to agree with it at the moment. She had been having a decent enough conversation with one of the forest spirits, asking about how the seasons affect the flora in a particularly shady area, when this horrific creature caught her scent and came barreling through the brush after her. She hadn't the time to ask for aid from the spirit she'd been talking to, only to run and hope that she could outlast the animal's stamina or outdistance it with speed. So far, she's gained some ground by being more manuverable than the bulky creature, wincing whenever it bashes its way through the tight spaces she darts through in hopes of getting it stuck. She's starting to think that she may yet get away, daring a look over one shoulder to gauge the beast's distance, when the ground suddenly isn't under her feet any more.
"Wha...? Aaaah! ... Mmph!" she shrieks in surprise, her vision going from the trees behind her, to the open sky in front, then the murky blue of water. She had caught her breath right before it fully escaped from her lungs, but now she's in a situation she never planned for. She'd always intended to learn how to swim at some point, but she's never wanted this kind of a crash course. Especially when she's not sure if the beastie that's been chasing her can swim or not. Kicking her legs and windmilling her arms, she tries to think of what would make sense to reach the surface of the body of water she's fallen into before her brain turns to mush. Of all the days that she remembered to wear clothing, she had to do so today, didn't she? Her leather skirt and vest soak up the water and start to drag her down, and her boots start to feel like boulders attached to her legs. Her sash is the worst of them all, with its weighted ends seeming to have a deep felt need to reach the muddy bottom. She kicks all the harder, determined to reach the beckoning surface before her air runs out.
Though she can't hear it herself, the brown and black furred animal breaks past the final barrier of trees and bellows once, then starts to sniff around testingly.

Rath licked at the wet stuff between bites of goopy box, it was much better. He even dunked his food in it and made it soggy, tasted even better. Leaning down to flick his tongue more, he head a noise and his ears flickered listening. It was getting closer, heading his way. It sounded like one of those noisey flying things. Then it appeared, like the buch of noisey weird ones the other day. Rath oooo'd! at the sight of it dropping from the sky and into the wet stuff with a splash. He chuckled silently, finding it rather funny. It made lots of bubbles and started to disappear, Rath wasn't happy and frowned. It not even say hi to Rath or say sorry for jumping in his drink. Putting his goopy box down, he growled annoyed and then licked his fingers and dove into the wet stuff.
Man in black said Rath was like a frog when it came to water, Rath never knew what it was talking about, he just liked moving through the wet stuff. Feeling around, he found himself a hand and a head and grabbed the arm and pulled. He was not going to enjoy his drink with a thing in it. He dragged up and pulled out and onto the side of the wet stuff and sttod there scolding it silently with his hands on his hips. Rath's ears flickered when he heard a weird noise again, and a couple of splashes then a big boom! Turning around, something else jumped in his drink, Rath wasn't happy. It slowly came up and rath blinked, was a biiiiiiig fuzzy, looked angry. Rath was also angry and quickly moved the first it to drop in his drink behind him. Turning to face the fuzzy, Rath crouched and snarled at the fuzzy. Dropping in drink was one thing, but wanting to eat things Rath was scolding was not on. Fuzzy was gonna get bonked on the nose.

Casala doesn't have time to start convincing herself to keep fighting and be the 'brave survivor'. As soon as she begins treading water, her arm is nabbed and then gripped painfully tight, feeling as if it will be torn from its socket as she's tugged out of the clinging water and dragged unceremoniously through the gritty sand and dirt to safety. She tries to tell whoever has saved her about the beast that was following her, but all that comes out is a cough and sputtering gasp. Annoyed at her inability to communicate, she jerks up her head to stare in horror in the direction of the lake when she hears the large splash of the beast hitting the water she was just taken from. Veron buzzes its concern for her health, but she barely hears him as she catches a flash of green diving into the blue and swimming up to the large animal, only fully able to register just what the green is when Rath scrambles out of the water to bend into a battle-ready crouch.
A Pae? Shakily she gets up on one knee, working her right arm to make sure it won't hamper her movements. This Pae saved her life, and even if he hadn't she wasn't going to let him end up as something's lunch. "H.. Hey!," she calls over to the creature, waving her good arm at it. "You wanted me, remember?! Leave him out of this!" Veron buzzes at a high pitch that this is not a good idea, and she ignores it. "Over here!" She gets to her feet with a wobble to her knees, her left hand grabbing one end of her sash. Sure, she's never used it in actual combat before, but it's the only weapon she's got.

Rath stared down the fuzzy, he was bigger than he use to be, that meant extra bonking power! Then he heard a voice, watching the dripping fuzzy turn it's ugly head towards where the voice came from. Rath looked over too, was one of the noisey things, like the rest, with the squishies. Though Kaelin had squishies but she was nice and not so noisey. It looked like it was calling the fuzzy over? Wha? silly thing, fuzzys do not like noiseys.
Rath winced as the fuzzy roared really loudly, he had to cover his ears. Rath hated so much noise, picked up a rock and tossed it right at the fuzzy's nose with a " bonk!". The noise stopped and Rath grinned and poked his tongue out at the fuzzy, silly thing. It roared again and ran at Rath who snarled and charged back at it. The fuzzy reared up and looked biiiig!. Rath looked impressed for a moment and then dived under the fuzzy's legs. Rath thought it was payback time for fuzzy's trying to think Rath was foods, so seeing the fuzzy's tail, his chompped it hard with his teeth and held on tight. The fuzzy roared again and tried to spin around to get him. Rath held on tight and kept out of the way. Just in case, rath began to drip, he knew fuzzys didn't like this stuff for long, if it bit Rath, then fuzzy would get a nice burny in its mouth. It stood up again, this time trying to sit on Rath. Rath decided he was not a sit spot and let go when the fuzzy fell down. Taking the chance. Rath growled and pounced on its back and held on with his legs and he smacked the fuzzy hard on the head with his fists. Bad fuzzy, ruining Rath's drink time.

Casala blinks, stunned when Rath chucks a rock at the roaring beast and smacks it on the nose. Had he actually aimed for that? She can't bring herself to move as the creature shifts and charges Rath, its eyes blazing with its fury at the indignity of its prey bruising its nose. The thought that Rath seems as wild as the fur-bearing beast he is fighting filters past her shock as the green Pae darts underneath the raging animal and sinks his teeth into its tail.
Unaware of how idiotic Rath regards her as being right now, Casala grits her teeth and wills her body to move as the monsterous creature topples over onto its belly, with Rath banging on its head with his fists. Realizing that trying to tear its attention away from Rath is now pointless, instead she runs to the side of it, lashing out with her sash as if it is a whip and smacking the thing on the mouth. The impact results in a splash of blood and the sound of breaking bone as the weight of the sash smashes into the creature's teeth, knocking out a couple of the sharp things and cracking a few others. She spins around to use her momentum to streak her sash back before the beast can try to bite onto it, and sends it spiraling back at a slightly altered angle. She misses her initial target, which was the other side of the animal's mouth, and instead strikes a part of its throat.

Rath stopped his hitting to oooooo at the spinning the noisey one did. It was pretty and she hit the fuzzy with a blankey! Rath stared for a moment when there was a crack sound, a whimper and a choked roar as the fuzzy started to rear up. Rath thought he'd join in, and pulled out his shiney! time to bonk the fuzzy good and proper.
Rath suddenly felt a sharp ouchy on his leg, the fuzzy had bit him! Damn fuzzy's always chomping! Rath growled but it didn't last long as he was pulled off the fuzzy's back and shaken back and forth. Rath snarled and curled up, hanging upside down and punched the fuzzy in the nose, and again. It bit his leg harder and Rath snarled and decided fuzzy needed to know Rath not for eating. Grunting, Rathsqueezed more of the sticky stuff out his leg and the fuzzy felt it right away. It flung Rath, sailing through the air and hitting a tree and then the ground with an oof!
The fuzzy whimpered and rolled around in pain, pawing at its mouth. It then took off whimpering, foamy mixing with red red stuff coming from it's mouth. Rath rubbed his head and grumbled and leaned up against the big plant. He felt ouchy all over.

Oh no! She hadn't counted on the animal going after the green boy like that! Her mouth set into a grim line, she pivots on one leg to wrap her sash around an arm, grabbing onto the longer end with the hand belonging to that arm and keeping it still. She's getting herself ready to dash forward and kick the wounded beast on the nose when it whimpers again and paws at its muzzle before taking off into the woods. She sags with obvious relief, taking in a deep breath and for a moment just appreciating the gift of being alive. Who cares if she's still soaking wet, her wings are droopy, and her leathers stink of pond water? She's alive!
Of course her rescuer is still alive... right? The thought that the fall might have harmed Rath is what motivates her to straighten and cautiously head in the direction he was tossed, speeding up when she gets closer. Keeping a couple of feet between her and him, she slowly starts to unwrap her sash and rewind it around her waist. First she eyes his leg's wound, hoping that her brief submersion in the pond didn't ruin the herbs she keeps in her belt's pouches, and then she tries to meet Rath's eyes with her own. "Greetings. My name is Casala, and it seems I owe you my life," she offers very softly, still working her sash into compliance, "I'm sorry that you were hurt. Perhaps I could help?"

Rath frowned watching the red we leak out of the holes on his leg, damn fuzzy, next time you get a kick in the bum! Rath tried to blow the hair from his face, he couldn't see anything. Taking his hand, he pushed it aside and came face to face with the noisey. Well, not so noisey any more but talked funny, kinda like the man in black. Rath tilted his head to the side, ignoring his leg and leaned in reaaaaaally close and sniffed. It smelled okay, nothing too bad. He got his finger and drew in the mud. " Rath" with a backwards R, He thought he heard Casala or something, its name maybe.
Sniffing again, Rath smelt his goopy box nearby. And there it was, smooshed into the ground, Rath looked a bit upset at his foods being all smooshed and tried to take his mind off it by scraping the sticky hot stuff and red wet from his leg.

Did he just.. smell his leg? Casala kneels down where she is as she watches, rather fascinated, as Rath dexteriously bends over and sniffs just above the broken flesh of his lower leg. She half expects him to start licking at it like she's seen Alimus do to groom his fur. The sound of something slishing in the mud shifts her attention to watch Rath write out his name with a finger. She notes the backwards letter with a slight smile, remembering doing something similar when she was little. Wait... This 'Rath' isn't little at all. He's even taller than she is, and he can't write properly yet? Hrm... Rocking forward, she plants a hand to the side of his name and starts writing her own in the same fashion beneath his. She finds it somewhat of a challenge to write it upside down so he can read it, but she manages to make it legible. That is, she hopes he can read.
"Your name is Rath?" she asks once she's done, looking up to stare at him wiping off both oozing green slime and red blood from his leg. It was infected already? Sitting up, she scrambles to open two of the pouches on her belt, dragging out small leather bags and sighing with relief when she sees they are undamaged. "I can help you with that," she says as she arranges the tiny bags on her lap. "It must hurt. I can clean it and dull the pain."

Rath looked at Casala scribbled under his name, he wondered what it was making. He tried to look at it at defferent angles but not a thing, didn't look like much. He then heard his smile and smirked proudly and nodded, yeah that was right, Rath's name. Casala looked at his leg and Rath did too, his hands were all icky.
He leaned over and peeked into Casala's stuff. Maybe it had fixy things like Kaelin. Wait, noooo, no touchy just yet. Rath held up his hand and shook his head, no touchy yet. Seeing a beetle walk nearby, Rath scooped up the sticky on his leg, made sure Casala watched and he dropped it on the beetle. The beetle ran around, smoked, turned red and flipped over onto its back before dying. Rath pointed to the beetle then his leg and stood up slowly.
Limping over to the wet stuff, he sat near his goopy box. Poor goopy box, all smooshed like. He scooped up some wet stuff and dropped it on his leg to clean it. Man in black said best way to clean was with wet stuff. The sticky was gone but the red wet wouldn't stop. Rath put a finger on a hole to stop it coming out and walked back to his spot by Casala.

Her eyes go wide at the sight of the smoking beetle. Right... Well, at least he warned her in some way? "Thanks.. I think?" she says as he starts to move away, gripping the soggy edge of her leather skirt and wringing what moisture from it that she can as she watches him dose his leg with water.
When he comes back again, she looks up to study his face for a bit. "If you sit down," she gestures what she means with a hand, lowering it till its palm is pressed to the earth, "I could venture a look at your leg. That is, if it's safe?"
