Merri smiled softly and inclined her head "No worries. My fur tends to singe when i create fire, part of its destructive beauty i suppose" She looked out over the meadow's that surrounded the HQ, and shook her head, heading off into a random direction, pausing to make sure the male followed. "mmm, no not really. I find all flowers beautiful" she said as she bent down to sniff at a flower, a small wild rose. "They're so delicate to the touch, yet they can grow in some of the harshest conditions"
She blushed softly, luckily it was hidden beneath her dark fur.

He tried to follow as closely as he could without invading much of her personal space. All the fauna was beautiful in his eyes. He found the most delight with grass. They were so resilient! Even under the freezing snow, if one brushed a paw lightly green grass would be hiding underneath.
Nodding as if to agree with her, he replied, "Yes, that is true. And because their beauty is so ephemeral, it makes them that much more spectacular."

Meri giggled softly, and tilted her head at him "Tell me, what is your favorite type of flower?" Everyone had a favorite, a special flower that would bring their mind to a happy place. "Do you prefer the scented type, that fill a room with their sweet smell? Or the visual ones, that smile in boquets and bunches?" she was rambling now, prattling on about flowers and their types. A blush remained hidden beneath her black fur "I apologize, i sometimes rattle on, about the silliest of things" she said with another raspy giggle. "Its rather evident i havent left my grove much, to converse with others or familiar myself with apropreate conversation topics and length's" she smiled softly.

She was a rather interesting one. This was certainly a...different way to flirt with a male. He could only carry a silly grin on his face as he thought about it. If she was flirting that would mean she was interested in him. Oh, thank heavens for this day.
"My favorite type of flower," he paused briefly to allow a more dramatic effect, "is the type with a subtle scent and beauty. One that requires a bit of concentration and study to appreciate. It does not catch the eye instantly as say a rose would; nor does it fill the room with a strong scent as sweet peas. It takes time to understand and appreciate." His brown eyes stared right at her the entire time, trying somewhat subtly to suggest she was the flower he spoke of.

Meritammon tilted her head, unfortunately the female was not socialized enough to grasp that they were in fact, flirting. In fact it was totally lost upon her. Now, that's not to say she doesn't find him attractive, in truth she's rather attracted to him, shes just... Naive and rather sheltered.
She nodded at his description. "I myself love the ones with vibrant colors and designs, the ones you can see from across the field." she said with a grin upon her maw. "the ones that sway in the wind, like rainbows tied to this earth" she giggled again. She really had to get this rambling under control.
