He listened to her contentedly, still looking around the area in awe. When she mentioned the entrance to her cave he searched with his eyes until he found the path. It might get him wet, but he'd just fly in for that very reason. Her comments about how he'd gotten so messy and how he looked as if he'd flown through a pricker bush though made him laugh. "I suppose your right about that. I'd dive in to clean myself off but I don't want to ruin your water here." Just to be silly he splashed a little water at her, giving her a rougish grin that said "Bring it on".

It pleased her more than it should have that he liked it here. She'd never show it to anyone else before. Never wanted to. Even her daughters didn't come here. But then he made a terribly stupid comment about "ruining her water". Yeah right. That was about as possible as a sandstorm in the middle of the ocean. So to show him how wrong he was she threw herself off the rock, landed with a loud splash in water and thoroughly soaked him and Bapoto. "I mean really Mr. Imadi. Did you think me that much of a shrew that I don't get wet ever?" She grinned wildly at him and rolled in the water happily.

The splash not only soaked him to the bone, but knocked him over seeing as it caught him off guard. He laughed until tears formed in his eyes, then got up and leapt into the water, diving under to clean himself off. Once he felt clean he reached up and wrapped his paws around her from underneath, pulling her under with him for a moment. He didn't keep either of them down long, just enough to play around. "Your certainly not shrew Ms. Ruwa. I was teasing earlier." He then stuck his tongue out at her and splashed her.

She gasped when he grabbed her and was outright shocked at the feeling of being held. She really didn't even notice being under the water for a bit and outright thrashed and wriggled until her let go of her, barely hearing his words. "Tearse! Tease with a girl whose more of a floozy. Who gave you the right to touch me? Cuz it certainly wasn't me." She wadded to shore and marched towards the cave path.

When she said that to him his jaw dropped. He hadn't been trying anything, he was playing around. "Ruwa, I don't do that kind of thing. I was just playing like two teens or cubs would. I never meant to anger you..." With a long frown he crawled out of the water, watching her with wide eyes. This whole thing was a shock to him.

She turned on him then, furious. The anger showing in eyes and in the set of her mouth. "Do I look like a cub to you?! There's play and then they're stupidity and insolence! Didn't anyone ever teach you manners?" She huffed and growled. "A male is not suppose to throw himself on a lady!"

His tail started to thud on the ground behind him as nervous energy started to build up inside him. "No, nobody taught me anything. My father left before I was born and my Mother died giving birth, so I didn't get a teacher ok? I'm not stupid and I know your not a cub." He stood then, looking away from her. "I thought you were very beautiful. I was just..." He couldn't think of what to say now.

The bluster left her and her jaw hung limply for a moment. She hadn't expected the outburst out of him. It explained a few things about him. "I know I'm beautiful...Imadi...look at me...I'm sorry." She padded back toward him and pulled on his tail gently. "I'm sorry. It's just, it's just me. I'm not good at being with anyone is all. Least of all males. I like to choose where I want my relationships to go. I have...history. Bad history. But I like you. I really do." She walked up beside him and reached out her wet head to rub her cheek on his.

He heard the change in her voice, fidgeting when he looked at her again, not sure how to handle himself. He wasn't used to these kinds of situations. "It's ok, you didn't know." He watched as she pulled on his tail, a soft sad frown on his maw. "I've never been with a lioness before so I don't know what that's like..." Shocked for a moment he froze, but then he met her halfway, rubbing his cheek against hers softly.

When she pulled away, the look on her face was much brighter. "You wanna find out what being with a lioness is like? Because I think I can show you." She turned around and swished her tail along his face then turned her head and gave him a wink. "Go any ideas pretty boy?"

He watched her, grinning when her tail brushed along his face. His first thought was to tackle her, but instead he nipped at her tail playfully and padded around until he was facing her, rump in the air. "Anything you'd like beautiful." He gave her a broad grin, ready for anything she might throw at him.

She gave him a wicked gin and then did the unthinkable. "Then get ready. Cuz you're gonna get the ride of your life." Then, lightning quick, she used both her front paws and gave him a hard shove back into the water then ran away into the trees.

He watched her, but still didn't expect to be shoved into the water. With a yelp he sank in, thrashing around until he got over to his belly. By then he saw she'd run off into the trees. Adrenaline rushed through him, powering up his muscles as he blasted out of the water, sending it everywhere, his paws moving as fast as they could to catch up to her. "Your in for it now!"

She giggled from behind a tree when he finally manged pursuit. "You'd think that. But I know these trees better than anyone." She swished back and forth through the trees like a sprite. "Where to hide. Which ones to climb. Where is dangerous. Catch me if you can."

He chuckled, moving around the trees rather clumsily, getting caught in brush multiple times while trying to keep up with her. She was very right, he was a stranger here and had no idea when to duck or stop. But he wouldn't give up. "I'll get you somehow!"
