The Esper Terra Ashley is my fav of the 2... Kaidan don't "go along oh so well" like everyone says with aliens...he jut don't interact much with hem... Ashley is part of a generation that just met the other races, she is military... Most of her concerns are about military secrets, which is something I can understand (Dunno what jobs you do kids, but with mine, I know what it is like) She represents more what I think we would react like as humans... She is dealing with the unknown, dealing with military, never was with some of them and she foresee the obvious clash between mankind and the rest... As for the bible preaching part, yeah, shove that up her a**...lol But like I said, saved my romance usually...I don't do blue stuff made for nerds that will jack off on some blue polygons for fanservice. lol I agree with all of that except 2 things. 1) I like kaidan. heart lol 2) I like that they included someone in the game to talk about God and stuff, because, well, READ MY SIGNATURE. I believe in God, is there something wrong with that?

I ALWAYS save Ash. She may be against aliens but she's still the coolest chic in the video game. Sure Tali is amazing, but Ash is just awesome the way she doesn't change her mind for anybody. I admire strong women. I've played the game several times through, and not once did I save Alenko.

xii_Kinky_iix I ALWAYS save Ash. She may be against aliens but she's still the coolest chic in the video game. I see her as less of a "strong woman" and more of a "total douche." xD

I think they do mention in one of the ME novels that pretty much all of Earth's religions had to be somewhat reexamined and rewritten.
And, random fact: a lot of turians converted to Zen Buddhism. 3nodding

I agree. It added more to show that with advanced technology, people didnt dump previous religions or embrace the Hanar "Enkindlers" or something else.

I save Kaidan EVERY time =3 Ashley annoys me.. She doesn't realize that I'm gay XD I'm hoping for a MaleShep/Kaidan romance in ME3.

I saved Ash all 7 play throughs. Kaiden just seems to be too much of a knock off of Carth from KOTOR (Pretty sure it's the same voice actor in ME1, they changed the voice actor in ME2 I think).

Probably just the poor video quality. And to Soren: I never bother to watch the credits, that's 5 minutes of my life down the drain.

My first two complete runthroughs of the game, I chose Kaiden everytime for the sole reason that he seemed likely to get along with my alien crew alot more easily. I'm all about efficiency both physically and psychologically. Plus I never used Ashley much as a squad member.
I'm changing things up in my next game though, since I'm curious to see how things go with Ashley.

If I remember right, yeah his voice does sound a bit different (a bit more strained and older) but I think that it's only noticeable when you meet up with him on Horizon. And I've watched the credits because I wanted to see if there was anything after the credits and I wanted to bask in the glory of leaving no one behind (squad wise anyway)(that was the first playthrough) and to annoy my brother (second playthrough). (something along the lines of how you should have saved the superior officer I think)
