Listening to him, her eyes looking to him with full attention, she admired his loyalty to the old ways. Though she knew that all good things must come to an end, she did treasure the simplicty of the old world. "It's a shame..." her eyes turned back to their pat, a tint of saddness diluting in them. At the rate this world was changing, the things she loved would soon parish. A light sigh escaped her mutely, as her eyes lowered to the ground before her. She simply watched as her paws placed delicately.

Relieved that he had pointed out a alternative way to the greenhouse, she relaxed from her nervous posture. Smiling slightly, she followed his nudges. Once he opened the door to her of the great domain, her eyes widen and sparkle at the wonders within. Her little mouth gapes open a bit, while complete awe washes over her. The wings on her back begin to awaken and slowly crane up in excitement. "Trovalius.... this..." she could barely speak, her words were just breaths. Her tiny paws took careful steps into the greenhouse as if she were in a trance.

"It....still perplexes me that something like this...so alive in its natural state can be kept alive and flourish elsewhere than their habitat by this greenhouse." The demon commented, walking past Leyla into the greenhouse where he looked around and closed his eyes as if in deep concentration for a moment. He could pick up a few tell tale signs a few of the plants needed some water, and found himself looking to Leyla.

"I have to water a few plants. Feel free to either wander and look around or come with me. The paths all link up to the pond in the middle so if all else fails meet there and then take the one lined with little solar lights to come back to this door. He wasn't quite sure what she would do, and moved over to the side to pick up his water pale; pausing for a moment as he waited.

Still in awe by what she had stepped into, her eyes gleamed and sparkled at the wonder around her. Following along the butterfly's that flew over head, a childish smile opened on her mouth. She always had a fastination with butterflys. How they were able to start out as a tiny little grub like worm, and go into a hibernation of sorts to be come a flyer like her.

Stepping closer to Trovalius, she nodded slightly while looking upon a particular yellow butterfly. It fluttered about her and landed right on the tip of her nose. Crossing her eyes to look at it, she giggled lightly.
"I think we'll go with you, Trovalius. If that's alright." Her eyes gave a motherly look to the little creature that rested on her snout. It's wings opening and closing slowly.

It was soon Trovalius' turn to be in awe, pausing completely in step to watch as the butterfly landed on Leyla's nose. Not only was it rare for the butterflies to land on someone in this garden, but it went to show that they knew to down to earth soul when one came. Never, ever had he seen the butterflies come close to the other souls lingering the household beyond the garden. To think, that such a soul like hers was becoming all but extinct...it was a sad reality.

Catching that he'd been staring in a mild dumbfoundness, Trovalius ripped his gaze away with a mumble from having the watering pail in his mouth and nodded quickly "O'coors" He said before walking down the path, of course...lost in his own 'conversation'.

'Trov, do you realize what this means!?' Moris, the mushroom on his shoulder nearly wiggled in excitement.

Of course I do. Not that the thought troubled him any less wether he knew or not.

'Its not everyday we meet someone who the great mother has shined her graces on....if you know what I mean!' Moris urged, but was met with an aweful glare.

She lives in a world I just don't belong, Moris. End of story. Trovalius thought as he approached the pond, dipping his front paws in to scoop up the water in his pail.

Following behind him, the butterfly crawling up the length of her snout, Leyla giggled lightly. She spoke softly to the little creature. "Well arn't you precious? Enjoying the warmth in here, hm?" It was rather refreshing to see life in these cold and bare times.
As her tail swished to and fro behind her, she gazed at the vegetation around her. The small butterfly flittered and took to resting near her ear.
If one were to see her from afar, it would look as if she wore a butterfly clip of sorts. Her eyes gazed along the other flying insects above her.
A feeling of calm trainquility rushed over her.
What a wonderful place to live. If she could, she'd live somewhere like this too.

Sitting on her haunches as Trovalius filled the water pail, she was graced by the presence of yet another butterfly. This one was slightly bigger than her current friend, and wore a yellow pair of wings with black trim sprinkled with a few spots. It's wings were a little jagged, and had an extra length at the end of them. He decided to take roost atop her ear tuft. Careful so as not to flick it, she giggled again. "Well hello to you too, little one." Her motherly instincts were starting to flourish even more at this point. The yearn for kits of her own was indeed great, but the painful remnents from the past kept her in check.

Once the pail filled with cool water, Trovalius raised his head with little to no strain even with the weight; being a demon had its advantages. Decades of darkness and plight had made him powerful and strong...but it was only semi recently in the past few years that he'd made the conversion to the lighter side. Definitely having the old mentality than some of these younger demonic souls where they could be what they wanted to and do what they wanted. He was a sinner, and in his mind no ammount of repent could take away that brand from his past.

Yet that was just it, his past. The demon walked a different path now and was content to do so for many more years to come.

However as he turned around he blinked in clear amazement, as yet another butterfly was attracted to the warmth and spirit of the femme. Her words were not unnoticed, as he looked down the path and began to walk with a quick motion for her to follow. "T....They like you." Trovalius stated, trying to adjust the handle in his mouth so he could continue to talk. "Do...'oo have kids?" He could vaguely remember something about her not getting much attention; but was fairly certain they spoke of friends and not previous lovers.

Lightly padding behind him, so as not to disterb her little friends though she naturally stepped that way, Leyla smiled at his statement. "I'm glad they do." she cooed to them as if they were little kits. How precious they were.

As she continued to follow him calmly, her demenour quickly changed in a snap. Her ears instinctivly lowered, causing the butterfly there to flutter off and roost elsewhere on her. Such as the top of her head. Lowering her eyes as well, a sort of pained expression griped her. She started to slow as well, and let her luminous tail drag. "I... almost...." her words were barely a whisper, and basically forced out. Swallowing, for her throat had gotten suddenly dry, she closed her eyes and stopped moving completly. The images and memory's started to surface behind her eyes. The voice started to yell and the pain re-kindled. Her legs broke slightly at the knee's, and she dropped a little while turning her head away.

"No.. No... Keep it together... that was a long time ago..."
PostPosted: Tue Feb 23, 2010 4:42 am

'.....You're such an a**.' Mirrah, the tiniest fungi chorted up, much to the agreeance of the other two mushrooms.

That was uncalled for.... Trovalius thought back as he wondered what the hell had died in their fertilizer, when he got a funny sinking feeling after not hearing any footsteps.

'...You should turn around there, Trov...' Morris piped in, sadness in his tone.

Looking back around behind him, his eyes widened as he noticed the all but 360 in the vixen's demeanor, looking completely devastated. What the hell!? Immediately he wondered what he could have said, since he was sure he had been polite and nice the entire time, to make her once sunny attitude turn into a torrential downpour. Was it something about...kits? It had to be, she'd been so happy with the butterflies a moment ago and it was the only thing he'd said....

A curiosity found home in his thoughts to what could have happened to make her this upset over the mention of children, but he knew now was not the time nor place. Setting down the pail the demon looked to Leyla for a moment or two with an obvious look of an uncomfortable nervousness. Like hell he knew how to deal with others, much less emotional females...but he couldn't just leave her like that and keep going right? Besides, he'd get a earful from Mirrah and Morris if he did.

"Erm....forget I said anything, Leyla. I'm not good with conversations..." Trovalius tried to excuse his words, but found himself lingering towards her; leaning over and using his nose and head to try and get her to stand properly and proudly again. "If its hurts that bad then just shut up and move...trust me, it helps to press on even if you feel otherwise..." As bad as what he said sounded, his tone held a wise sincerity to it despire the gruff vocals it was said on.

Anything to get her moving again, because lord help him if she started crying or anything too severe.

Only his nudgings seemed to bring her to, as she unintentionally blocked out anything he might've said to her. In a snap, she began to unfurl from her crouched and pained expression and into her usual eleganat form. Though she closed her eyes, and inhaled deeply to try and release those thoughts from her mind.
What was done, was done. There was no use dwelling on it. She of all people should know that.
She took another breath. The two little butterfly's all seemed to gather to her cheek, and in between her eyes as if to give little comforting kisses. It didn't take too long `til three more little winged friends found the need to comfort her as well. Giggling lightly, she sighed.
Yes. That was a long time ago.
Keeping her eyes closed, she simply stood and let the critters crawl along her while she tried to regain her calm composure.
"It's alright, Trovalius. I'm just being... silly." and she gave an uneasy laugh to that, furrowing her brows a little.
PostPosted: Sun Feb 28, 2010 11:45 pm

Bullshit.... Trovalius thought with a frown, not that she would have seen with her eyes closed as her uneasiness radiated off her like stink on a scared skunk. Folding his ears back along his skull, his mind wracked to try and figure out the puzzle before him...the puzzle which was Leyla. Kits....definately something to do with kits. Yet what? Did she have some? Where were they if so? Was she unable to...no, they had those magic bowls for that now. The butterflies seemed so attracted to her....did they sense something that even he did not?

No matter, moving to to pick up his pail and continue on, something struck him....something absolutely brilliant.

Setting down the pail back on the path he turned to the vixen and nipped at her scruff trying to pull her with him. "Open your eyes, we're going to take a quick detour." Giving her shoulder a push with his snout, Trovalius took lead and headed down a paw made path into the thick of the garden off the trail.

Her slender ears flipped up at his touch and her eyes were to follow with his words. Looking to him, she put on her "brave face" of a small smile and flickering eyes. Their usual clear state seemed slightly dulled or occupied. Doing her best to supress the thoughts, she straightened herself up, fluffed her chest fur a little, and daintly followed after him.
The winged lovelies settled back onto different parts of her; her back, her head, her folded wings, and anywhere in between. There was no need to be a spoil sport. A "Debby Downer" in such a beautiful area. How selfish of her. With a shake of her head, she chastised herself for such rudeness.
Trovalius had been kind enough to bring her to this lovely utopia, and she was bringing down the mood. Flicking her tail behind her, she ignored any personal issues that decided they wanted to be remembered again.

Twisting and turning through the path and around the overgrowing bushes, Trovalius trekked forwards. Occasionally he'd cast a glance behind his frame to make sure Leyla was keeping up yet refused to slow in case she began to think about it again; he knew that tight runs like this left little time for the mind to be deep in thought after all. "Almost there..." He called back, turning around a rose bush before coming into a little clearing amongst the bushes where a basket lay.

"I found them outside not too long ago....they're doing better but still in danger without their mother...." Trovalius spoke as Leyla would enter the clearing, moving down to nose away the towel covering three baby squirrels nosing around. "Pretty sure a hawk must have gotten her from the marks left on the branch near the hole...."

Although, no need to go into details especially from what happened last time he brought up kids; but this was different. "Do you know any mixtures that would work to boost a squirrels immune system? I'm afraid what I mix up to feed them doesn't have anything like that in it...." Brown eyes turned to the femme, trying to read her reaction.

The little friends that had taken roost on her had become distracted by the passing flora. Taking their leave from her, the took to the flowers, almost like bus stops. The vixen's eyes traveled along either side of her, wide and sparkling at the wonder of the maze that he led her through.
She finally rested upon his tail, watching and following it diligently. A little smile crept back on her face, feeling a little giggle want to sound, but she stiffled it and simply held her head up high again.

As they came to the clearing, her head looked looked about them again. "Beautiful..." she whispered, slowing to take in her surroundings. It was absolute heaven, and so welcoming and calming. Her tail swayed behind her as she padded to where he hovered. Looking to the little basket on the ground, her ears perked up as she caught scent of the younglings before even seeing them. A gasp, and a pause, she flipped her ears all the way up. Picking up her pace, she looked into the little basket, and gasped again. "Tro...valius..." she breathed, in complete awe of the little babies. Slowly lowering her snout, she nuzzled them gently, smelling their gentle scent.
"They're so.. young.." her eyes softened in pity for the little things. Smiling at them, she licked them lovingly, as a mother would to clean her kits.
Totally enwraped in the babies, she sat and carefully nuzzled them again, closing her eyes.
"I think I know a few things that might help them.. I know it will help them." she giggled, feeling one of them cling to her snout.

[Since we are further along in their relationship i'm going to use this thread as a record of various IM rps. <3]

Trovalius: Again with the lack of confidence.....if they can't see it, they're a damned fool not worth your time... -growls, yet listens as politely as he could. Why wouldn't anyone persue her....Leyla was one of the few, if not the only one he could stand; surely someone had to see that? Yet it was in this train of thought he almost missed a key part. Our relationship. His stomach made a horrible twist as he could feel his heart begin to pound at the prospect...or was it he was afraid of his intuition being correct?- Our....relationship? You can't mean....

Leyla: *peeking over at him, a light blush tinting her cheeks, she blinked in awe.* Trovalius... *she whispered, But quickly looking back down to her paws, and watched a little a sprout bow under the winds blow.* ..well.. you are my best friend, Trovalius... I would feel rather foolish if I did anything to ruin it.

Trovalius: -a rather blank and concerned look, one he was sure had never been on his face before twisted on; his own gaze retreating to his paws momentarily. She was indeed one he could comfortably call friend...a word amongst the highest ranks in his books....yet when had it become more than that? More importantly, where had he been?- Is.....er....that really, what you feel? Something more....all what was said....really directed at me? -somehow feels like the bigger fool at the moment-

Leyla: *Closing her eyes, feeling a little breeze, she gave a nod.* Of course... You're the only one who's there for me, even if I may not be.. all too entertaining. *she chuckled at that, turning her head to follow along the winds trail.* And.. you make me feel safe.. and happy. You always know how to make me happy.. ^//^ ...*she opens her eyes to look at the sky.* ..and I admire you..

Trovalius: Do I..... -He spoke, more of a mutterance to himself as he listened diligently; daring not to even interrupt as he felt this was the risk he was urging her to take. Lords, the gods must have really held a grudge to make an angel of all things be the one to snake her way in where others had been stopped. Closing his eyes in a frustrated mannor (although no different than his normal looks); he didn't know how to respond. Did she not realize what it would mean if it turned into something more? He assumed she wasn't aware of the inner termoil rising that he'd been able to avoid before now.- I.....I have a feeling why you do, since we are kin of the same mother....yet I have done nothing else admireable with my life. I never wanted someone to entertain me, which is why i've done everything I can.....for you..

Leyla: *Looking to him bashfully, she smiled.* I would really like... to stay with you.. Trovalius... I see not why I should turn to anyone else other than you.. for I havn't felt a connection like this.. in a good long while.. *looking away again, she stared at her tail tip, which coiled around one of her forearms.* ..I'm.. sorry.. if I'm coming off too strong.. or inappropriately.. It's probably out of line.. *she frowned at herself.* I don't want to lose you, dear friend..

Trovalius: -Not one to take anything lightly, he keeps his gaze down and deliberates on the pros and cons. Despite his idea of cons outweighed the pros....the way his chest tightened at the thought of voicing his deliberations made him feel sick. There was simply something about the angel that made even his demon blood dilute at the thought of bringing her pain- I said to take risks, or you'd gain nothing did I not? -grumbles, before shifting his weight.- I'm not going anywhere, reguardless.....yet do you realize the concequences and risks you're implying?

Leyla: *Watching him a moment, she let her ears rise halfway.* I do.. but they don't phase me in the slightest.. but if they are too great for you to go against, I understand. *she straightens up, looking back to the sky. Her wings relaxed, letting the end feathers ruffle under the winds grace.* If it's something you do not wish to pursue, then we shall not take any further action with our status together. *her eyes slide to him again.* Either way. You are the only one that I may ever fathom having my life shared with.. for how ever long it may last..

Trovalius: They should phase you! I'm a demon....no matter how much i'd like to change it, it cannot be done. Although abandoning the old ways....I am still very much what I am. I could kill you, Leyla....you and I are both aware our bloods run wild on strong emotions.... -He snapped slightly, standing and closing the distace they had before to stare hard at her, a searching frown across his face. Why, Why of all foxes did it have to be her? Then again, if it was just any old female he wouldn't have a problem with the danger in such a relationship....but the strong desire to protect her like he felt with the moss could not be pushes aside now....much like how her words stung at the icy clutches of his heart-

Leyla: *Staring righ back, she could only smile. Gazing upon his features, his hard scowl, and firm eyes, she couldn't help but feel a comfort.* You havn't killed me yet.. so I don't see why you would later on. What we are does not matter, its how we let it affect us. Neither of us asked to be born the way we were, yet here we are.. *she blinked slowly, leaning a bit closer to him.* ..besides.. if it is by you that my life may end, I am glad.. I would rather it be someone I respect than someone who might have never given me the time of day.. *gently, she touched her nose to his.*

Trovalius: I have not been in a position to allow my emotions to run rampant since those days, life as a hermit usually is a calm one. I am aware what comes along with relationships....and what emotions amplify those hidden demons still left... -However, one look into her sapphire hued eyes left him with that sinking feeling of caution thrown to the wind which swept through their fur. Her words were bittersweet, leaving the demon with a bad taste in his mouth at the thought of killing her; and her accepting the fact whole heartedly. He would have rolled his eyes if they had not widened when such a simple notion of her nose touching his sent a cold chill down his spine. He couldn't say no....nor would he be able to lie to her face as he folded his ears down, slumping slightly in defeate as he couldn't reason with her- If you understand...I can say nothing to convince you otherwise this could be a bad idea....yet for the same reasons, I cannot push you away if staying is what will allow me to keep seeing that smile on your face....

Leyla: *Pulling back to inspect his body language, she swiveled her ears.* I will always smile when I'm around you. Even if we arn't to be together. But it is a two way street.. and I wouldn't want you to feel obligated to take to this offer I have presented if you're uneasy of it. Though I can assure you.. that I will make sure to try and pacify your emotions if they possess any danger directed towards me or any ki-.... *stopping short, she looked to the side.* ..or any... other.. *pausing, she looked back to him, with a coy look, and leaned in again to barely nuzzle his cheek.* I'm accept fully what ever this desicion may entail.

Trovalius: -Was he really doing it out of obligation? No....he knew that for certian. There was something there the moment she'd approached him with a smile, and despite conversing and getting to know him....she hadn't gone, and that smile had stayed. There was no obligation to let her into his life, and it certianly didn't effect how (although he'd never let it showed) how calm it made him when she was around. That she was still willing, still wanting to be with him in a whole new sense of a couple....well...Trovalius couldn't begin to fathom it himself let alone try and explain it- There is no sense of obligation when I say....well....I can't deny you. I have done nothing like this before....so I will try. Nothing to gain without some risks.... -Indeed, he wasn't about to go back on his own words. He wasn't sure if it would work out....but he'd give it 100%- Is that acceptable...? -timidly, he leaned his own cheek against hers, obviously tense waiting for a reply-

Leyla: *Smiling once again, she moved closer to him to let her cheek slide against his in affection. She gently gave a little lick to the tuft on his cheek.* That is perfectly fine with me. It's better to have tried, than not at all.. right? *her little heart raced with joy as she could feel his body heat radiating close to hers, and the calming earthen scent of him warmed her within. She used restraint so as not to seem too forward on her approach with him, as she herself hadn't been with another for... how many years had it been? Well. Very long, to say in the least. Her courage had seemed to dig itself out from within her to get this far, so it must've been appropriate. Her eyes closed as she murred softly.*

Trovalius: Yes....That it is. -Doesn't withdrawl from her affections, figuring she knew what normal would be and not excessive like he'd seen at the shop at times...his tail curling to rest against her own. Although unable to wrap his mind around just yet that suddenly she was more than just friend....and suddenly a potential mate of sorts, he was still unable to get her little short stopped word from his mind since he knew exactly what she meant to say- I need to know.....asides from the hormones.....why is it that you're so keen in kits... -shoots her a nervous look, remembering what happened last time he'd asked.....yet it was something he couldn't go on pretending didn't happen if this was the route they were heading-

Leyla: *Ears flicking up, she pulled back, and looked at him a moment before looking away. Pressing her ears back, she knew that this would come eventually, she just hoped that maybe some how she would be able to avoid it... Feeling his tail along hers, she turned her head away from him, to look at their tails.* ..I've always wanted to some of my own.. but... it seems like I can't... *her eyes closed to slits.* ...I havn't been able to.. to. *her voice softened the more she went on, her ears drooping.* ..it's my fault... *she murmured, recalling her past lover.*

Trovalius: -folding his own ears back, his expression did not faulter as her own drooped....although never having been in a relationship; he was aware how little things could eat away....and he'd said he'd give this a fighting chance. He listened politely, his tail slowly curling around hers in comfort- Haven't been able to....do you mean infertile? -he blinked, sure this wasn't the case.....he didn't wish to say so but usually he could smell such dispair; just as he could hear the forest the body had its own whispers as well- Perhaps....it was not time, or meant to be.... he offered, obviously not familliar with any of it-

Trovalius: -looks a little worse for wear with tired eyes, slowly moving around the evening atmosphere before slumping down by a stream in the woods. Letting out a sigh he rested his head on his paws as they ached from a busy day of walking since dawn-

Leyla: *Having been fluttering about in the cool air, with the Sun bathing along her, she was in quite high spirits. Looking below her, seeing a stream, she thought that after all this flying a little sip would do her good. Turning the wings just so, she began to desend a bit up stream, near it's origin. Landing gracefully, she trotted a few steps before she slowed. Standing at the lip of the stream, she smiled at seeing it's transparent nature, and bowed her head to lap at it delicatly with her little tongue.*

Trovalius: -Inhaling deeply, the demon finally found the ability to relax wash over him....despite it being short lived when a familliar scent wafted his nose from upstream. Figures when he least needed her to show that she did, but no matter. Heaving himself onto his paws, the demon quietly headed her direction; finding her shortly after as he took a few moments to linger off to the side.....admiring her-

Leyla: *Enjoying the water's pure taste, and rather cool temperature, she let her wings fold neatly on her back. Her tail laid limp behind her, as she closed her eyes while quenching herself. But her ears soon twitched as she felt another's presence. Lifting her head up right, she sniffed a few times before directing her head towards the source. Her eyes closed again as she took another little sniff.* Fancy meeting you here.. *she teased, slowly opening her eyes.*

Trovalius: Mhnn. Indeed... -padding towards the femme he stopped a foot away, looking down at the stream before directing his eyes back to her- Have you been.....well today? -folds his wings against his side, tail tip twitching -

Leyla: *She couldn't help but smile at his presence. Giving a nod, she lightly moved closer to him, taking a moment to stretch her wings once more and refold them. Her tail swished behind her once.* I've been quite excellent. This weather always brightens my spirits. *she took in a joyful breath.* What of you, Trovalius? Has it been kind to you as well?

Trovalius: -Listens intently although his ears are perked in attention, his eyes seem to fade in and out with his mind obviously elsewhere. Although it had been but a mere week or two since they've claimed they were an 'item' of sorts....he'd done as he said he would and had been thinking. More than he'd done in years, truthfully.- Ah...spirits. Yes....for the most part. It has allowed me to be outside from dawn untill dusk; albeit the nights were a bit chilled for the moss still but now the evenings show signs of the late spring warmth.

Leyla: *Noting his worn appearance, she smiled softly, as her ears lowered halfway. Taking another step to him, she gently gave a nuzzle to his cheek while listening.* The serenity of it all is very calming and rejuvinating.. *pulling back, she blinked once and swiveled an ear.* I was sure the coming of Spring might have been uplifting for you... thought you seem rather drained, dear friend.. has something plagued you..? *her brows gave the smallest hint of a furrow.*

Trovalius: -Raises his brow ever so slightly, feeling that strange chill run down his spine he'd experienced a few times at her simplest of touch. Not one to beat around the bush, he shook his head slowly- It has....yet my lethargic winter has left me out of shape; and with so many hours of daylight I have pushed myself beyond my limits on numerous days; today one of them. I have not been able to locate any kits in need of new placement... -Seems to have taken his word quite seriously, as it wasn't hard to sink into his old militant lifestyle of completeing missions....it bothering him that he had no luck on his current task at paw-

Leyla: *A blush instantly dyed on her cheeks and the bridge of her nose. It was because of her? Looking off, feeling rather guilty, she shook her head.* i-it's alright, Trovalius... there's no need to exert yourself so hard. *A little flutter in her heart, made a smile creep back on her face. The though that he'd go so far, and push himself so hard to bring such a joy to her was the most chivalrous a gesture she'd ever seen. Keeping her eyes downcast, she leaned to give a little nuzzle under his chin in thanks.* It flatters me that you would go so far as to help my silly desire.. but I wouldn't want to see you run yourself dry..

Trovalius: I said I would....it is not something I take lightly when I give my word. -Hard eyes watched her momentarily, wondering if he'd done something wrong by the way she wouldn't look at him....yet her head sneaking under his chin told him otherwise as he relaxed. Her scent of open summer meadows filled his senses, eyes half lidding as he subconsiously leanded against her. By any means.....his mind reminded him, as he found once more the tip of his tail began to twitch in thought-

Leyla: *Feeling the pressure of him, she smiled and cuddled up against his chest. She could feel his breathing, as his chest rose and fell, making her fall into time with it. The petite little vixen found sanctuary here, letting her little frame fit against him easily. Inhaling his scent, she felt the courage again to ask a rather forward question from within herself.* If it isn't too bold of me, Trovalius... might I ask, or yet suggest, another approach that might not tire you as much as...? *her cheeks burned as her words left her mouth, which allowed her tail to instinctivly curl around her.*

Trovalius: -Remained still as the vixen wormed her way against his frame; fitting like she was always meant to be there. The thoughts swirled in his mind, his jaw laxing slightly as the demon felt a bit numb. Well, after hearing her words he felt completely numb. The suggestion was as clear as day since he wasn't a moron....despite never having a mate type soul in his life; demons were notorious for their sexuality and of course he'd seen such acts more than he'd like from his fellow kin back in the day. Swallowing hard as he could feel his heart pick up the pace double fold, his own ears burned as emotions began to rise in his soul- Bold....indeed. -tilting his head down he tried to meet her gaze, his eyes clearly asking if so soon was really what she wanted-

Leyla: *Meeting his eyes for a moment, she quickly looked away, flushed with embarressment. Her ears flattened back, as she hid her face from him. Perhaps she was starting to become a bit too confident now that he was around. Looking down at her paws, she clentched at the ground with them, and soon did the same with her eyes, closing them.* I apologize.. I didn't mean to... well.. I wouldn't mind.. but-... it was completly out of line, forgive me.. *she pulls herself away from him, feeling quite foolish. Keeping her head turned, to somewhat hide at least of of her blush she, tightly lets her tail curl around herself again.* ...buddlings have started to appear... *she murmured, trying to make light of the situation.*

Trovalius: -His attention completely on the vixen before him once she'd turned away, the demon growled lowly- Don't appologize, I will not have you lose your confidence after you've built it up. Its just......well, you see...ugh! -Trovalius sighed, and in a quite random act stormed up and bit her quite hard on the neck, his teeth puncturing where her shoulder and neck met. Large leathery wings curled around her form to keep her put, and a few moments later he let go but remained against her- .....Listen close. -Sure enough, once the bite began to take effect, small voices began to become louder and louder-

What do you think you're doing biting her!
...Yes! She's much too pretty to maim you oaf!
What are you going to do about her offer, surely you can't turn it down!

Leyla: *Giving a little yelp at the bite, she tensed and cringed as it sunk into her flesh. Gritting her teeth, and clamping her eyes, she whimpered lightly. She wasn't suprised, as she had probably deserved it for her rather inappropriate request. Feeling his warmth against her again, she shivered, unsure of his intentions that were to follow. Quivering at his touch, she could barely hear his words as he'd spoke to her again, But soon, another voice seemed to chime in... and another,,,, followed by another. Watery eyes blinked open as she was confused by the array of little voices. Had someone been watching them? She peeked back up at him, and a little over his shoulder. But all that was there was the moss, and the cute little mushrooms.*

Trovalius: ....when I was blessed by Mother nature....I got something else in turn with a green paw for gardening... -sighs heavily, leanding down to gently lick off the blood that he'd caused with the lightest of touch; keping his heavy wings closed around her back- Say hello you pests....

....She can hear us?
.............WHY DID YOU DO THAT!
Oh shush you two! Hello there Miss Leyla!

-grumbles loudly- Mind your manners or i'll find a pig who'd love to eat you all....

Leyla: *Her ears slowly rose up as he spoke, still not quite sure as to what he meant. Not until she heard the voices again. Blinking, she peered back at his moss; which was easier to see now that he was tending to her punctured neck. Seeing the little fungi wriggle ever so slightly, she rested her chin on his shoulder.* h-...hello.. there...? *she whispered, taking the time to look at each mushroom. Always finding them to be quite adorable little passangers, she'd never thought that they could contribute actual words. This definently piqued her intrest, and made a shy smile creep back on her face.*

Trovalius: -As he continued to dote over her wound that he gave her, something began to stirr in the demon...something dark. Her scent, the warmth of her curled against him by his wings keeping her close and her blood gracing his tongue brought about a few ragged breaths as he became quiet; eyes half lidded as he seemed to zone out for the time being-

Hello dearie! Its a pleasure to finally be able to talk to you!
....Ah...yes! We're forest spirits! Albiet trapped in these mushrooms...
....this isn't good.

Leyla: *Giggling lightly at their energy, she became very much intrigued.* And you as well. Trapped? Can you not get out? *she didn't seem to pay mind to Trovalius` change in demenour. She was much too fastinated by the little shroomies. She had always found it interesting that only three grew, and stayed the same size, nor ever seemed to be damaged. Though in the deamons care, he wouldn't allow such a thing, she was sure. Her ears twitched as she could feel his breathing pattern change, as the breath on her shoulder become strange, and his chest taking a different time. Glancing back, she watched him curiously.*

No, we cannot. I was once a sunflower, but when my field was destroyed by a fire I was affixed to this mushroom! -the tiniest mushroom wiggles-
...I was a proud tree! When the two legged chopped me down to make way for a road...
....Trovalius...? -Morris, the fungus on his shoulder wiggled, closest to the heart and able to sense the change like Leyla soon did- ....You should go, Leyla. This is a bad sign.

Trovalius: -Feels himself slipping as he fights the calling of his blood, eyes coming into focus before he grits his jaw; wings tighening around her even though he knew she'd need to leave. He didn't want to hurt her, although he knew she understood....yet he didn't want it like this...-

Leyla: *Looking to each as they told their story, she gave them all a sympathetic look.* I'm so sorry to hear that... are you conent on where you've been placed, now..? *but her question was soon cast aside as the third one spoke. Feeling the clutch of Trovalius tighten, she turned to look at him fully. Bringing her head off his shoulder, she looked to him.* Trovalius...? *she asked softly. Her ears layed back, but her eyes were hard and firm. Sensing this change of personality, she knew it could only be as what she'd been warned of. Speaking gently, her words soft and smooth, she stared into his dark eyes. Gingerlly placing a paw to his chest, she continued calmly.* You're alright, Trovalius... I know you can fight this.. just breathe, darling... *the affectionate name seemed to accidently slip out, but she did away with any uneasyness she may feel.*

Oh dear, oh dear! Keep it together!
......He's too far....
....Leyla....

Trovalius: -Folding his ears back and clenching his eyes shut as he tried to breathe, his emotions held too strong a grip on him now; those three words echoing in his mind. The creeping emotions of budding love for the femme was too much for him to take...had he been younger and more in tune with diverting the emotions rather than completely blocking them off asides from anger, he might have stood a chance. Yet with his senses consumed with everything that was Leyla....Trovalius fought with all his might to at least not seriously hurt her as he knew he'd otherwise end up doing. Using his height advantage and proximity to push her down onto her back from her seated position, his face grimaced for a moment- I.....I'm sorry....by...any means.... -came his whisper before he consiously blacked out to the strength of his inner demons-

-------------------------Timeskip--------------------------

Leyla: *Everything ached. Not a muscle in her body felt rested, even though she had fainted half way through the act. Layed on her side, wings askew, her bright eyes slowly peeled open. It was much darker now. Just almost nightfall. The sun was gracefully setting, giving gentle hues to the sky. Her breathing was slow and heavy, as it hurt just to do that. Every part of her body throbbed in agony. But the will power that remained in her helped her to gain her footing. Wincing as she moved to sit upright, she collapsed once. Whimpering at the fall, she paused to collect herself again. The sound of the stream seemed to call to her. Moving her head to look to it, she fell into it's seduction. Rising again, she weakly drug herself to its beckoning rush, her wings and tail dragging as well. Her eyes could barely stay open as she took the first little step into the water. It was cool, and felt nice against her burning flesh. Daintily lifting her other paw, she placed it in as well. She simply stared blankly into the innocent water, as it gave her reflection to her unwillingly. Though she didn't even see it, as her vision was still blurry, and focused on her paws below. Slumping her head, she felt her ear tips dip into the water as well, and her little tongue slunk out to take a comforting lap of water. But it didn't take long until her legs gave out, and let her collapse into the streams side. Luckly it wasn't deep enough for her to be fully submerged, allowing just half of her body to be covered.*

Trovalius: -Having passed out afterwards, sleep finally came for the demon as he'd felt better than he had in the past two weeks....yet as splashing brought him out of his slumber and his eyes open to the world; the scent of what had happened lingered on his paws and in the air. His heart clenched painfully as he stumbled onto his paws, looking around at the few streaks of blood on the grass he followed it to Leyla's collapsed body in the stream- Leyla.... -Ears folded back in shame as he quickly trotted to her side, plunging his legs into the water to stand at her side; clearly able to see the damage he'd done....although asides from a cut or two there was no serious damage. Concern filled his eyes, as he tried to think of what he could say....if she even wanted him to say anything...-

Leyla: *Her eyes stayed closed as she let the water rush around her. Body limp, she barely moved an ear as she heard his approach. A little slit opened on her eyes, as she heard the water become disterbed once again. It felt so nice, the cool liquid. She wouldn't mind sleeping here... as it seemed that's where this was heading. But she saw him over her, and closed her eye once again. A weak little smile managed to form on her mouth.* Are....you alright...? *she whispered, feeling the sudden throb of pain in her lower region. Wincing again, she curled her body.*

Trovalius: -Feels his jaw clench and looks away for a moment, angry at himself for not having the contoll he should have had. Shaking his head, he once more turned his attention back to Leyla- Of course I am, fool.... -He spoke on vocals softer than usual as he leaned down and placed his cheek against hers- You....how are you.....

Leyla: *Breathing slowly still, it became more easier and lighter. His touch helped sooth her aches, as she attempted to sit up. The water dripped from her, as her head remained down. A little droplet slid down to the tip of her nose before plopping into the stream again.* I'm... alright.... just sore, is all.. *she looked to him weakly, as her wings failed to fold onto her back. Letting them slip to her sides, she flattened back her ears at the throb of her body crying out.*

Trovalius: ...... -frowning deeply he moved in close to support her upright stance, folding a wing across her back-This is no place for you, you need rest. Can you move? The garden isn't too far off.... -there he could watch over her, and as much as he hated to think about it there were other foxes there able to help him if she took a turn for the worse. He knew it would be impossible for him to carry her with the fungus on his back....so he hoped she would be able to walk-

Leyla: *Instantly leaning against his support, she sighed thankfully. Nestling against him, a little tear managed to bud at the corners of her eyes, but she stiffled the sniff that dared to peep. Her body shuddered, as the discomfort was rather immense. His scent was tainted, and slightly disterbing, but it was the best thing she could hold onto. Lifting a paw shakily, she whimpered,* I... I think so...

Trovalius: Come....but be careful.... -He spoke on hushed vocals and slid his wing from her back down under her belly so when she stood he'd be able to help support her weight on her weak legs. He waited for her to stand, as he felt his gaze drift down to the ground- I....didn't mean.....to do this......to... -his eyes closed tightly, feeling the guilt weight heavily on his shoulders-

Leyla: *Raising to her paws, she didn't bother to shake the water from her fur, and let it drip on it's own. One of her legs gave out, but she stayed up. Forcing herself to be strong, she took in a deep breath, and let her body rise to it's usual state; though her eyes were dulled with a tired expression. Her eyes slid to look at him as he spoke softly, a little smile keeping to her face again.* It's alright... we'll work on it.. *she assured, lifting her water logged wings to place on her back.*

Trovalius: -Once standing he adjusted his wing to hold her, walking slowly at a pace she'd be comfortable with while heading in the direction of the gardens. His gloomy expression didn't change, despite the lace of concern in his eyes as they continued- You sure....? I really wouldn't blame you if....you changed your mind. -gruff vocals spoke rather quietly; not needing to alert any nearby souls to bring in wandering eyes-

Leyla: *Watching her paws as they placed infront of her, she tried not to focus on the pain that shot up her legs with ever step.* do you want.me to...? *she asked, glancing at him. Her soaked tail that dragged behind her began to pick up leaves and particles of the land. But some where nearby, a little female cardinal twittered its song, and landed on a branch near the two foxes. It's head turned this way and that as it watched the scene. Flitting over them, it landed on the other side, and sung again. Soon, another female joined, and acted the same ritual.*

Trovalius: -Opens his mouth to speak....but finds himself shutting it just as fast when the words didn't come. Everything that he was screamed for him to push her away, least he wanted more of what happened last night to rear its ugly head. He'd left that life behind when he flew away from the demonic army of old, hermiting himself into seclusion to not be found. Yet it just so happened that the one part of him which longed for her had the most influence...yet he'd deny what was in his heart to the grave- ....No. I'm being selfish, though... -he paid no heed to the birds, too concentrated on making sure she was walking okay-

Leyla: Then I shant.. *feeling her body rejuvinate a little more, she found that walking was becoming a bit more tollerable. Leaning against him, she gingerly gave a nuzzle to his shoulder.* I don't want to leave you... *she murmured, paying no heed to the swell of her body's pain.* We may have a few rough patches, but no one ever said it would be easy, nor do I mind... *her eyes close as she lets him guide her.* ..if you were able to hold back that much, then it can only improve, I figure.. *a giggle barely escapes her lips, as she feels herself lose some sense of her body. The birds followed along her side, perching on the next branch as they passed by.*
