Oh my gosh Princess Chronos didn't get it! Well, Virgo was not going to be the one to explain, she hadn't brought it up and it was oh my gosh so embarrassing Virgo kind of hoped she would get hit by a bolt of lightning and faint or something. She didn't want to die, she just wanted to not be alive right then! Castor whispered in her ear, his breath warm against the side of her head. She squeaked again, but this time just stopped moving entirely.
Senshi Blue Screen of Death.
"G-gemini is on my t-team," she stuttered out.

"The Moon Princess." Chronos repeated patiently. "Your Princess. The one you must find, protect, and serve. The one the Negaverse want to kill the most." The Negaverse had a thing for killing Princesses, really. "It's been a year, and she has not surfaced yet. You patrol not only to keep the city safe, but to hold the line while she is gone. It's like..." She didn't really know how to explain this... "the Zodiacs and myself."
"That's good." She said. It was good to know they were actively patrolling, though mental note, it was really time to put her foot down about not patrolling alone. Though technically, Gemini were two people...

"Hey, now! Virgo. Baby, don't get cold feet on me!" Laughing he gave her side a light squeeze. "I'm just playing around. Nothing serious." When was he ever? The arm around her waist still was pulling close to his side. Say one thing, do another.
"Moon princess..." Castor thought of those random dreams he had of her. Faceless, a voice on the wind. "Hmm...I'm fine for now really. She'll show up sooner or later if anything. With so many senshi about, we're bound to find her sooner or later. Unless she's already dead." As soon as the words left his mouth, a cold chill went up his spine. No. He didn't want her dead. That would be very, very bad. His gut could tell him that much. "Hold the line?" His voice cracked a bit, that feeling, the idea of his princess, dead still lingering in his mind. "What line?"

Cold feet, but her feet had already been cold for ages and ages and ages--wait, there was another one of those sayings. Cold feet... reluctance? Now his words weren't matching what he was doing and--
Concentrate on the Princess! Virgo was so red that she might as well have been glowing. "She's not already dead," she assured Castor, "We'd know if she was already dead. The line..."
Her brows furrowed. "Princess, Moon senshi don't have a line to hold. They party," she said, a momentary flip back to her Soldier self. In the momentary wave of triumph, she continued: "The line is the edge of the Moon Kingdom that the Zodiacs held, to keep the Chaos monsters away." Hoping the information would give her a moment of distraction to get away, she tried to pull back towards the Princess.

"She's not dead." Chronos said abruptly, face turning serious as Castor suggested that her cousin had already fallen to the Negaverse. There was no way, but even thinking of such a possibility made her heart sink. "We would know if she did. She has not yet been awakened, and remains a mystery; we could not find her one year ago. If she was awakened back then, Charonite would have targeted her, not," her voice cracked slightly, "me." It was painful to say, but true. Painful because it dredged up memories of being captured, not because that Serenity, not Chronos, was the prime target. It was just awful thinking of what Charonite would even try to do to the Moon Princess.
"But they can't party anymore." She said in response to Virgo with a grim expression. "They partied back then, when we held the line out in space. There are many of them, and their home faces danger, but from what I've heard, they've not learnt that strength comes in numbers." She took a deep breath and then sighed. "The Chaos monsters were terrifying." She admitted. "The Moon Court never really saw how terrifying they were, but they know the horror of the Negaverse now. We can't let these agents of darkness kill and get away with it."

The fact that Chronos held such faith made him feel better. He didn't know why, but, it made him feel much, much better. Sadly, this did make him relax and allow Virgo to escape him. Something told him that he could nab her again if he REALLY tried. "Chaos monsters. Sounds badass. And if we moon senshi start a party, you two are totally invited," he whispered to Virgo again, "... especially to the one in my pants."
Then Castor laughed. Poor Virgo. "Anyway, I think this is where we part ways?" Crystal was close now. He couldn't risk going in with them. At least not while in his scouting uniform.

"Your pants aren't big enough for a party, are they?" She lifted both her eyebrows, her expression that of confusion. "Oh! oh, it's one of those--what are they, Princess?" Idioms, she thought, maybe, possibly idioms. Funny words, anyway.
They stopped outside the fence, and tugged on her hair. "Yes, I suppose. Will you be okay, going back by yourself?" She folded her hands before her and tilted her head, waiting for the answer.

"Um." Chronos started at Virgo's query, looking at Castor in puzzlement. Andeon would know about this. She didn't. It almost sounded as if he had ants in his pants, and that wasn't very hygienic at all! Ally would not approve. "I'm not sure."
"Do be careful on your patrols." She ventured softly as they reached the fence. It really wouldn't do for him to be alone all the time; it was not safe.

Virgo missed his party in the pants come on. Maybe it was for the best. Giving Virgo a hug Castor was grinning ear to ear. "Can do my lady. Anyway, princess, before I kidnap Virgo here for my own wicked reasons, I'm going to head out. Hillworth if far enough so, got to pace myself getting home." The fact he went to Hillworth might have said a lot about him. Grabbing Chronos's fee hand while the other kept Virgo pinned to his side, Castor laid a small kiss on her knuckles. "You even need a prince or a knight in shining armor, give me a ring." Letting Chronos's hand drop, Castor gave quick peck on the cheek to Virgo. "Give me a ring any time ladies. Castor is at your service."
A butt slap to Virgo, a laugh and a grin, then Castor was gone, running back to Hillworth.
