Silly lady. Babies didn't understand words! Well, some words, anyway. Telling Cookie about the lighthouse would be stupid! Instead, she turned back to the kitty-baby and smiled.
"You're doin' good!" she said, "Keep goin'!"

Cookie purred at the praise and tried to fill the bucket again, pushing it into the sand to fill it this time and dumping again. The sand kept coming out in a big pile and not like the shapely tower that Izzy had made. She looked curiously up at her friend to see again.

When the bucket was filled again, she put it in the baby's hands and put her own above them. Down it came, slamming hard, and there was another tower.
"See? You're a baby. A kitty-baby. it's hard for kitty-babies to do it right."

Cookie purred again, hugging her friend once more before trying to fill the bucket to try again on her own. The tot was at least experiencing new things with this. The next tower was less slopped but still not perfect. But, satisfied anyway, she began to poke it and see if she could make more of the little imprints all around it.

Taking that as a go-ahead to poke the thing, Izzy plopped down and began to draw a great masterpiece; a smiling fish. She had a bit of trouble pressing softly so it wouldn't fall over, but she managed with a slightly overgrown fingernail.

Cookie stared and began to clap at the picture. She had absolutely no idea what it was but it was a picture! Her little tail curled and her ears wiggled and her purred loudly.

Izzy scratched the girl's head like one might a kitty-kitty. This was definitely the cutest kitty-baby she had ever seen, even if it was the only one!

Cookie purred again and hugged Izzy again before getting an idea. Her fun friend was fun! So she should show Zeezee something SHE could do! The baby moved back a bit from her friend.
"Boing boing!" the pink haired tot exclaimed, using her arms to push down so she could lift her tail up and slam it down into the sand once, then it bounced up. The second time it bounced up, she grabbed Izzy's hand and very suddenly, they were off, zooming through the air.
Lam leapt up from where she'd been sitting, locking the leash so they couldn't go too far and running over, holding onto it like it was a kite string and she could steer. Otherwise, they'd have no way of turning or getting down. "Just relax!" she called up to Izzy. Honestly, Cookie needed to not surprisingly drag her friends flying.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Izzy had never been off the ground before, and she had especially not done it with only a baby holding her up. It was scary and her belly felt funny every time they turned or dipped lower. She pedaled her feet, simultaneously wanting to be let go and not wanting to fall. She expected the kitty baby to drop her, but when she did not she looked up.
It seemed that so long as the baby didn't let go, she'd be okay.
...it was kind of cool, after all...

Lam smiled, carefully turning the two, "You're okay, just relax." she'd call up now and then, carefully moving the leash line so it'd turn them in a circle in the air. After a bit, she'd slowly start pulling the leash in more to slow them down and bring them closer to the ground.
"Okay Cookie, let Izzy go now." she said with the baby was near enough to the ground to set her friend down gently. She let go of the other girl's hand and flew with a light wumph into her mother's arms.
"There now little one, no more bouncing today." the blonde told her daughter, setting Cookie down and going to relax once more.
The pink haired girl beamed, looking very proud of herself and clapping a bit.

Izzy put her feet on the ground and took a moment to compose herself.
...and then, in true Izzy fashion, she burst out of nowhere.
"OH MAN THAT WAS SO COOL IT WAS LIKE I WAS A KITE OR SOMETHING THAT WAS SO AWESOME I WISH I COULD FLY OH MAN!" She ran screaming for her father then, the kitty-baby and her family partially forgotten. Henri was standing with a hand to his chest, eyes wide. He had been scared out of his wits.
"DADDY DADDY DID YOU SEE?!"
"I did!"
"IT WAS LIKE PYOOOOOOW~" And off Izzy ran again, arms out like a plane, dodging and diving in circles.

Lam laughed, scooping Cookie up again and carrying her over to where Izzy'd dashed off to. "Glad you had fun. Now you see why she's on a leash though." Lam laughed, petting Cookie's hair and scratching the infant behind her ears. Her daughter purred loudly, seeming a bit tired out but content.

"Yeah!" Izzy said, jogging to a stop back at the kitty-baby's mother, "I thought she might wiggle away or somethin' but WOW! I wish I could fly!"

"Naaaah." Lam laughed, "Cookie can't wiggle faster than I can run but if she zooms off without me, I can't grab her." the woman explained, bouncing her daughter.
Cookie seemed to be yawning a bit and starting to stretch out and wrap her tail around her mother's arm. "Looks like somebody's sleepy." the blonde cooed, "Why don't you say goodbye to your friend and I'll take you back and put you down for a nap, hm?"
The tot nodded, leaning forward with her arms out to hug Izzy one last time.

Izzy gladly leaned in and hugged the tiny kitty-baby, nuzzling her soft fur.
"Bye, Cookie! Come visit the beach again!"
