Pyry astral vanity I think you're missing my point; he's already had a growth spurt; he merely had a second that shot him up to 6'1"-- before he was 5'9-10" or so. XD I got that part, I just wanted to clarify what I meant before. Sorry about that! I will add that I'm not sure how dodgeball is tactical, but that's still more nitpicking from me. Oh! Okay. XD I was like ;^; *confused* and yeah, hmm. maybe i should change that part to perhaps, capture the flag? been a while since i was in gym T___T;; *to google* 8D

saving for the contest so i don't lose it! IN THE NAME OF THE MOON! WRITING COMPETITION? SCHOOLKID COMP!
Name: Roman Martinez
Nicknames: Rome
Gender: Male
Age: Seventeen
School: Meadowview
Fav. Food: Simple, easily prepared foods. He's always kind of been a latchkey kid, so...Anything easy to make! Ramen, actually, is his favourite. Throw it all together in a hot pot, throw in some beef and some eggs and he's set.
Hated Food: Anything spicy really kills Roman's tongue; much to his parent's chagrin. Anything beyond a mild, be it Indian curry, salsa, kimchi-- it just kills his tastebuds for ages.
Virtues:
Focused;; While some people get 'into' something, Roman gets into whatever he sets his mind to. While often times it is not used for anything in particular (Beating a video game, racing a friend, completing a puzzle, stupid small things like that), it sometimes can be really damn handy. Especially for school work. One year, he did a month of Trigonometry in advance in the span of a week and a half because he read the damn book and researched and did equations till it all clicked in his head. His friends get really damn annoyed with him sometimes, because if he's in the middle of an activity it's pretty much impossible to drag him away from it till he's done.
Tactician;; Dodgeball was always Roman's favourite game in gym, right up there with capture the flag. Charging ahead has never really been his thing-- instead, he watches. Waits. Lurks and learns and pinpoints weaknesses in his head with little flags, formulating a plan in his head. He's the kind of guy that watches football and yells to no one that cares about how they could have done a play better, or shakes their sibling for sucking at a strategy game.
Social;; Roman can talk. He will chatter the ear off of anyone willing to listen, attempt to get between the sheets with whatever pretty lady that's around (which, really, has only ever worked a few times ever), and get himself out of 'sticky situations' that the teen got into in the FIRST PLACE with his big mouth. Roman would much rather talk out an issue rather than have a fight, because really, he's had his a** handed to him royally once and that was enough for him, thanks. Really, for the most part, Roman's big mouth is used to lecture people, ace his oral presentations and seeing if he can maybe get lucky with a girl. But hey, it's got its uses. Even when meeting new people he's immediately sociable and does his best to get people out of their shell that are more shy than him (unless they decide to stare), and so it's often great for 'breaking the ice' when the other party works with him.
Flaws:
Insecure;; Roman is more fussy about his looks than a girl. Seriously. Every day he takes the time to dress proper in nice clothes, take care of his hair and skin, goes to the pool to stay slim and trim and fit. He sweats a few pounds, the status of his split ends, and the list just goes on and on from there. It stemmed from his accident, but from there it's simply escalated. He takes an hour to get ready, and god forbid anyone stare at his scar, because if looks could kill. His would. He double and triple checks his appearance before going out the door, and spends a disproportionate amount of time angsting over his looks for being a teenage boy.
Hypocrite;; Since he's a bit ...disfigured, Rome can't really take being made fun of. He's had the scar for three years, but it still gets to him. He uses it as a crutch sometimes, because he most certainly can dish it out when it comes to biting sarcasm and poking jabs. But if they're aimed back at him? It brings a whole new definition to the word 'butthurt', and he'll even try to guilt trip you if he thinks you're staring at his scar or insinuating that you think that Roman is inadequate. This little quirk goes beyond just his looks, because the teen can't stand being told that he's not as good as anyone else. He's the kind of guy to rub it in someone's face that he won, gloating all over the place, and then getting really upset if someone did the same thing.
Meddlesome;; Roman's heart is in the right place, but he's a little overbearing when it comes to micromanagement. He does his best to try and play coach when people are fighting, cupid when he thinks two people might like each other, etc. For some reason, Rome just can't keep his overlarge nose out of anyone else's business. Innate curiousity is one thing, but he always has the hardest time not taking curiousity to the next level.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Bright, startling grey/silver. Slightly round, almost a bit doe-eyed.
Hair: Long and black. Kept pulled back in a mussy pony tail.
Face: His nose is probably the most noticeable after his scar. He's got a round face, very obviously a Latin American mutt, with a nice warm caramel skin tone.

Huh... you know I just noticed you were questing for energy. However it looks like Sailor Sun is suppose to be the senshi of energy. Perhaps you should double check if it's an okay sphere? Or maybe find a secondary sphere just in case?
Other than that I really like his personality. The quirk about his scar makes him really interesting. I also like how you went with the mild mayan/aztec theme. They have a lot of pretty art and jewelry as well as architecture to look at.

*looking through the app forum while i take a break*
Since I'm fairly certain you mean to use the sort of spooky Bermuda Triangle sort of ideas, this is not a viable sphere-- while Bermuda has existed long enough to work, the stories have only really started since the first or second world war (not exactly sure).
Just checked-- earliest it is mentioned is 1950, so far too late (while "incidents" go back to the late 1800s, it wasn't until the 1950's that the area started having an air of mystery)
I would more think of what you want to do-- what about Senshi of Currents? It's not energy. Or Senshi of Pulses. Or mmm.
Discharge Sprites Disappearance Pyramids-- ok this is an odd one, but there IS sort of a strange "Pyramid power" that is often attributed to the Bermuda triangle as well. If this interests you, I'd research it? While it's relatively new, it is a throwback to Egyptian beliefs with the pyramids as well. Evaporation

Wry hello Astra! Back for round two, haha. ~<3
On a small note, in Maru’s quester handbook, she notes they’d prefer the quests to be in black font, so. I don’t find your font color hard to read, but. I might follow what the stampers ask, haha.
Okay, virtues! I like focused, that’s a good quality to have. However, your last sentence discredits it a little, giving it some flaw-taste, if that makes sense at all. The flipside of this virtue would make an awesome trait, but you just want the virtue half to actually sound like a virtue, you know?
Ffft, I can’t believe you just described him as a lurker. |D That’s amazing. I appreciate that he’s not completely gung-ho, because there are a lot of characters like that. Having a planner is a good thing, haha. Out of curiosity, how does he feel when things don’t go to plan? Is he good at backup plans? I’m just curious.
Ooh, I like social a lot, too. It opens up a lot of doors for RP, and I think it meshes well with his ability to be a tactician. I’m curious if his focus ever applies to girls, just because you’ve brought it up in this trait, haha. I also like how you use his big mouth as a flaw as well, I love the two sides of the same coin bit. I also appreciate how he can’t take what he dishes, it really gives his sociable trait the ability to be either a flaw or a virtue. I’m curious, however. Does he hold grudges once he feels he’s been called inadequate or feels someone is staring at his scar. I like how you mention he goes to guilt, since you’ve stated he doesn’t like to fight. More for my own curiosity, what does he do if it doesn’t work?
Mhhm, his meddlesome trait is very interesting as well. I can see where social lends itself to this ability, but as does his tactician and need to tell people how to do things. What does he do if the people involved tell him to buzz off? What happens if whatever he’s coaching goes south? Nothing’s wrong with this trait at all, I just want to know a little bit more!
Now, insecure is the only trait I really have any sort of issue with. Mostly, you focus with his concern about his physical appearance. While interesting, I’m not sure how flawlike this really is. Sure, it takes him a long time to get ready in the morning, but how much damage could that actually do to himself, or others? You only briefly mention how he feels when people look at his scar; maybe you should focus more on how he feels other perceive him? Insecure seems to have the ability to clash with social. Currently, I’m wondering what happens if people stare at him. Does he shut off? Does he open his big mouth and dig himself a grave? What happens if people take a gander at him frequently? Is he going to get less social? That’s where it could become a problem. I think you could probably arrange both these traits to work around each other, I’m just a little cautious about it at the moment, that’s all. It’s treading on a very fine line between clashing and not.
Hobbies! I like how you’ve included a little bit of his history, and I can definitely see him yelling at his swim teammates from the sidelines, haha. I like both those hobbies a lot, especially how he can enjoy them without being the best ever. The only thing that got me was knitting. Interesting, yeah, but completely out of left field. I don’t think it’s bad, or anything, but I’m wondering where on earth that just came from. I appreciate that you’ve given me some history behind it, that does help it along some, but. I guess I can’t really argue against it, his personality does actually allow me to see it, lawl. I guess just as long as you realize it’s a little…out there.
Overall? He looks really great, really well thought out. For the most part, his virtues and flaws mesh really well, and this sounds like a guy I’d want to know, sounds like I guy I’ve gone to school with. What I’m trying to say, I think, is that Roman sounds realistic, rofl. I totally love his name, by the way. Just a few little details, I think, that need to be straightened out, but that’s all, really! As far as the senshi half goes, your attacks look pretty awesome to me! The only thing is his challenge: it seems quite long, IDK if that will fit on your cert? Maybe you want an abbreviated version, or something?
Well, that’s all. I hope this helped! I can’t wait to see this guy, either! If anything I said seems odd or you don’t understand, feel free to poke me. Good luck! <3

Just for clarification, what do you mean by "up to three attacks" / "up to five attacks" in your descriptions e.g. what quantifies one attack? Since our battle system is sort of freeform, it might be better to go with a general idea of how much it can deal with instead of a specific number. :>

Mouse Pachinkorelli Just for clarification, what do you mean by "up to three attacks" / "up to five attacks" in your descriptions e.g. what quantifies one attack? Since our battle system is sort of freeform, it might be better to go with a general idea of how much it can deal with instead of a specific number. :> GOD I AM THE SLOWEST OF ALL TIME /facepalm I'm down with it not being that specific, i just don't know how to make it less rigid while still keeping it capped; should i change it to maybe... Sailor Tucana emits a field of interference around him that manifests in various ways. It disrupts, distracts and is generally annoying to anyone in range. The field, when activated, interrupts any attacks used in his immediate two foot radius for five seconds, regardless of whether the move is used by a friend or a foe. Since it requires such close quarters, Tucana often has to charge straight to his target before 'detonating' his move. The attack can be resumed as soon as the interference wears off. This can only be used once per battle-- there will still be an annoying static/white noise/smoke/bright lights presence around him once it recharges in two to three minutes, but he can not interrupt any attacks with it for the remaining duration of the battle. and just make it non specific except the battle limit? :3 /goes to edit those two!
