Lorelei just sat there, she couldn't even voice that it wasn't their brother's fault either. She saw Aylara tense forcing herself to continue smiling for the two of them. It was a valiant effort but Lorelei wouldn't smile anymore.
Things would never go back to the way they were... Ever. Though Lorelei's empty eyes said so without needing to voice what was true. it was not Kou's fault either and she should understand that. But despite being together they it certainly wouldn't be the same. It just couldn't. The scars all three of them carried were so heavy.
