1 soldiers are not the only enemies our fellow man is as well.
2 because of the biological composition of women it serves to help them fight off attackers.
3 guns revolutionized the world and forever changed the way people would gather food.
guns have changed the world in many ways and since their invention they were not useless and they never will be.

all right after reading everything everyone posted i see were everyone is comeing from me personally i would choose a bow and arrow they are silent and can be used from a good distance geuns are loud and obnoxious knives are to close for comfort but what the hell use whatever suits you and is handy at the time of emergency

you do have to think if guns are gone the government will probably keep as many as they can which means we will be in trouble if they feel like using force

but you have to think we dont know where we will fight if you expect to fight in the forests maybe the governments thought of that they are taking our forests the towns are controlled by local police

I'm not against using guns, especially in that kind of situation, I just prefer more surreptitious means. There are guns in my home; I know how to use them and clean them. I just choose not to because they're loud and dirty.
However, in the event of emergency, I'd get over that pretty quickly.
