Dysi smiled down at the crown she had managed to form, proud of what she had managed to achieve. When he was learning, he had given up multiple times, not finishing a crown but she had finished hers, which was a wonderful achievement!

He smiled brightly at her at her words, laughing softly to himself. "You did well!" He assured her quickly, and turned his gaze down to the crown. He used his paws lightly, picking it from the ground. It felt so delicate and fragile, and was barely held together properly but it was still pretty and so nice.

"Do you mind if I take this one?" He asked, politely. It was not perfect, and would likely not last long when he wore it but it was so pretty, it was a mark of friendship between the two of them, like friendship bracelets. He motioned to the one he had used to demonstrate, smiling. "You can have that one too, if you wanted." She would have three then, all different colours.

"If you keep practicing, you'll be making them better than me," he told her honestly, looking at her first attempt. So much better than his first attempt! He mused, with a tiny smile.

”Oh, I want you to have it,”Keena beamed as he picked up the battered squished looking crown, ”If you want it that is,” she added, but, obviously, if he didn’t want it then he would not have asked if she minded his taking it. She wished it had come out better, it would have made a better present if she’d the skill. But if he liked it, then that was plenty good enough for her.

”Thank you ever so much for showing me how!” she gushed, pawing gleefully at one of the shredded flowers that hadn’t survived her attempts to make it into a crown, ”I’ll be sure to practice, so that I can make you a better one next time.”

That there would be a next time she had no doubt. Sure, she might not see him again for a long time, and she didn’t even really know where to find him again. But she wanted to see him again, he was a truly wonderful sort of person. She loved meeting new people, and all of them had something ever so loveable about them. But he seemed especially special to her, though perhaps she was biased from the time they’d just spent playing with flowers.

No matter. She wouldn’t mind meeting most of those she’d happened upon again. But she especially would like to see Dysi. Carefully, she lifted the other crown he’d made and settled it, a bit crookedly, over the previous two. ”They’re ever so pretty…”

He shot her a warm smile as she allowed him to have her crown, and lifted it up, carefully placing it on his head. A flower fell off but he ignored it, pleased with his new accessory. She had done a good job, for her first time.

"Next time?"
He questioned, pleased with that thought. "I would like that. You can make bracelets too, with just shortening the crowns," he told her, shaking a paw, "but they are harder to put on." He chuckled to himself and eyed the three crowns which adorned her head.

"They suit you," he said brightly, and smiled warmly at her. He had enjoyed his time with her. She was so sweet, and kind. She allowed him to be girly, and she didn't seem to care.

She was somewhat dismayed to see the flower fall, and worried for a moment that the crown would fall to pieces before he even put it on his head. Somehow it held together. She honestly had no idea how.

"Harder?" Keena repeated quietly, chuckling. It wasn't as if she was much good at the crowns yet, much less trying to do something harder to work with. If she put the sort of finished piece she managed on her foot, it would dissolve within a step or two. "Aw, thank you," she giggled when he said the flowers he'd given her suited her. She did love the bright colors and the sweet scent of them. Making one of her own had been fun as well. Frustrating, but he'd been such fun to spend the time with. What a beautiful, beautiful person.

And yes. Next time. There ought to be a next time with this person at least. Dysi. Such a wonderful person he was. Friendly and kind and relaxed and generous with his talents... she needed to see him again. Even though it would be lovely to see any one of the people she met again, Dysi...especially so. She might even have to seek him out! But she would see him again. She'd give him a better gift next time, she could learn to do it better.

"Next time," the lioness nodded firmly, though cautious of the flowers on her head. A cheerful smile was spread across her features, she so loved meeting new friends.

Dysi smiled to himself, staring down at the flowers scattered in front of them. They were ruined now, and would slip into the dirt to help the other flowers stay alive and regrow later. It was a constant circle, so Dysi didn't feel bad for ruining the flowers. They had a purpose still, and it wasn't just to look pretty on Dysi and Keena.

He had had fun with her, he realised. It was nice being girly, without having to worry about what other people would think. She seemed unconcerned with him being a little more girly than manly, like he knew he should be.

"I should go," he said, sounding reluctant as he got to his feet, careful not to dislodge the crown perched precariously on his head. He stared at the lioness, not wanting to leave but knew he had to. He had to keep moving, find a place for the fast approaching night and hanging around Keena would only delay her from finding her own shelter for the night. "But there will be a next time," he assured her, flashing a bright smile.

He didn't' want to leave, but he did. Life wasn't about doing what you wanted to all the time, it was about doing what you had to, and enjoying little moments of enjoyment in between. As Dysi flashed her another smile, he turned tail and walked away, calling back over his shoulder for her to take care. He had enjoyed himself, and he hoped he would see her again. Maybe he would show her how to weave leaves into a bag to carry flowers in... He moved off, already planning what he would teach her next time.
