(( No worries! Kahiga's ICly one of Dhati's slowest lions. ;D )
Each step took him closer to the battle, lavender eyes narrowing. Tayari was hit and back up -- Kondo was upon the being's back. Kahiga hoped his two comrades had the god's attention, but --
No! Kahiga skidded to a stop, his eyes wide as he tried to comprehend what had just happened. The white lion with -- were those WINGS?! had somehow managed to appear onto Kondo's back and was returning the favor.
The tan lion shook his head. This wasn't a place for cowards! With a roar he charged again, jumping up onto his hind legs to claw at the other lion's side. One paw went for his wings, the other shot out and tried to scratch at Anupu's scales, but the slick and hard surface did little but send his claw skittering down, useless against the tough surface.
Who knows? For Anupu, it might tickle.

The third male had made it into the fray it seemed, Anupu snarled his annoyance, but annoyance was all it was. Luckily this male's claws were up against his scales, his wing snapped out towards his face. His paws and jaw might be occupied but the vicious talons on his wings could deal effective damage.
His eyes rolled to the corner trying to take aim towards the slow males face, the black claws tipping his leathery wings jabbing at eye level. He might have given it more attention, might have really tried to kill the male, but that fury he seemed to have in reserve for Kondo. The blood was already drying against his white pelt, but it still stung, it seemed the tear had been in his pride less then his hide.

SMACK!
Kahiga reeled back as the wing smacked into him, the taloned-hook on the god's wing digging in, pulling and tearing before his weight and the buffet from the wing ended it. He closed his eyes and he rolled onto his side, face twisting into a frozen snarl. The left eye he squeezed tightly shut, opening his right to glare at the god before he stood up, launching another attack on his opponent.
This time, Kahiga's claws sought to tear into the god's side, his mouth open and snapping at the wing as if to prevent another smack from it.

Pain struck his back as the God appeared out of no where -how did he get there? Fear riddled every cell of his being as he collapsed to the ground, he had been severly weakened before the blow but now he was simply unable to bring any strength forth to move.
Kondo simply lay upon the ground, blood pouring all around him, seeping into his fur making it sticky and red rather than its usual black, the design was no longer visable. He knew he couldn't move. Even breathing was difficult and he was sure that the last blow by the God had most likely broken his ribs causing them to puncture his lungs.
He coughed, more blood escaping his body. He felt weak and all he could do was watch the fight with blurred and bloody vision, they stood no chance against this beast -why had they been so foolish? This Mizi member was in a whole other league and was making easy work of his comrads.
It was shame that this would be his last memory, lying broken on the floor with no chance of surviving. Was this what death was truely like? He had always hoped that he would at least see his life flash before his eyes, see his mate one more time -after all he predicted that due to all the lives he had taken he would not be joining her in spirit world.
And then... suddenly everything went black, and the last laboured breath escaped his broken body.
He was dead.

Tayari stumbled backwards once again, now even more dazed than before. It felt as if anything he attempted would fail. What hope was there? The God before him was teleporting and crushing the Dhati warriors. Tayari couldn't do anything that would prove to defeat the arrogant creature before him.
As he stumbled he fell onto his rear, and felt his head roll to the side. His eyes followed and he saw the dead lion mere feet from him. Kondo was dead. Hs companion... his friend was dead. Kahiga was still up and fighting but it didn't look good. A low growl formed in Tayari's throat but he didn't even have enough energy for a roar. He rolled his head to the other side and saw their enemy. He was covered with blood but didn't seem too phased.
"I've got to... to do something..." Tayari growled. He stood up once more, straining every muscle in his body. His large paws carried him only so far before they began to tremble. Tayari collapsed with one final roar, alerting and still challenging his foe.
((I think what I rolled means Tayari has to be injured and captured. Not sure how to play that out. XDD))

Anupu felt it, the sudden limpness of his foe, the lion that he was so viciously digging his claws and jaws into was dead. There was no point in continuing with his fury, though it had mounted on high now. He leapt away from the dead lion with a mighty roar, a cry of victory. Let them hear, let them see, let them be afraid!
He felt the sudden thud and growled his fury as he felt claws dip into his side. It hurt, yes it hurt something awful, but he would recover, he knew he would. He had the lush haven of the gods to return to and recover in for as long as he required. These rebels would find no rest, no shelter no matter how far they ran, if they even were able once he finished.
His wings slapped out again but he ignored the slower males attacks and turned on Tayari. The male was already so stunned, and even as Anupu teleported infront of him he collapsed. He brought his mighty paw up his claws extended and he put all his force behind a strong blow to the males head determined to send him into a deep sleep, let him have nightmares of this moment, for when he woke a fresh hell would await him as a captive.
He turned slowly then his eyes narrowing on the slower male, he slowly smirked as he saw the way he closed his eye tightly. His wings folded over his back and sides covering the blood stained fur there in leathery protection. He might have suggested that the male run, but if he was too foolish to see the odds against him he would deserve death.
Anupu growled and charged his dark blue gaze fixed on Kahiga so clearly the challenge 'Your next'.

He struck something! His claws dug in, trying to sink further into the god before that, that thing knocked him back and off, the force of an angry god striking enough to send him rolling. Kahiga hauled himself to his feet and shook his head, turning to face his opponent again. It was... strange. Did the god just move? He didn't hear any steps. Why was the god farther away from Tayari than he was before? And why couldn't he open his left eye? It was open, right? Right?!
The brown lion froze, blinking. It... He shook his head and turned quickly, using Tayari as a suitable distraction for the god as he fled. Perhaps one day he would return to the Mizimu'Tungika lands, wounds healed and refreshed, ready to do battle again. For now, the world was an out-of-balanced place with piercing pain on the left side of his face. There would be time to lick his wounds.
The next time the Spirits of the land would see Kahiga the Rock would be him covered from nose to tail in bright moss-green; the pelt of a coward.

Sweet Triumph! Anupu slowly grinned as he watched the slower male run, he might have pursued, but the other male might awake and he wanted to drag him back to the Mizi. He turned then and eyed the corpse of the other male, taking a life made him feel conflicted for a brief second before he snorted.
Traitors to royal blood deserved to die, and with that the guilt faded completely. He walked over to Tayari and grabbed the larger male by the scruff. His duty here was done, he would take this captive in and return to the haven of the gods to rest. He would return though to ensure all had gone well for the warleader Sakata.
