Vali knelt down before Pippin and smiled, "I am at your service my princesses. Your wish is always my command." He then stood and moved over to the bridge. He watched Pippin take a step on the first plank and he nods, "I trust you princess. But I shall go first just incase something goes wrong."
He took a slow breath and moved onto the first plank with his new friend. He then gave a warm smile and moved to to step carefully onto the second plank from them. He held the ropes tightly then he nods, "Oh great princess you truely are the greatest of princesses!" He started to move to the next one his tail moving back for Pippin, "You can hold on to my tail to help you cross!"
He was really enjoying this day. It seemed that good things were happening left and right. He was so happy he was pretty sure he could not get much happier. Though as they were almost across the bridge an idea did occur to him. But he would hold htat off until they were safe on the ground.

"Wow! It's so cool having my own knight~ the boy giggled. Vali was a very good knight too, and Pip was glad that he could help with the little bridge problem.
"You really think so? I think you're the greatest of all knights too Vali!" the smiling boy nodded, seemingly agreeing with himself. He was quite sure that Vali would be the best knight he knew, even though he was the only knight he knew.
Listening to the silver-haired spawn Pip grabbed a hold of the devil-like tail and held on, making sure not to hold too tightly or pull it. He felt a bit saver, at least this way if he started to fall the other could save him. He did certainly hope it wouldn't come to that though. He wouldn't want to ruin a great day by almost falling into the lava.
"We're almost across Vali! Only a few more steps!" he exclaimed excitedly, almost able to feel the safe space just a few feet ahead of him. They were such good adventurers, and this was only Pippin's first one!
Once he felt his foot on level ground instead of the bridge he called out in joy, "Yes! We made it!"

Vali smiles brightly, "My princess is too kind in her nice words to me. But as a knight form this day forth I shall serve you!" He then laughed softly, "Forgive me for not bowing right now...I shall bow to you two times once we are safe!"
As Pippin's smaller hand took ahold of his tail, Vali's tail curls loosely around the slender wrist. The silver spawn acted like he would fall once or twice but when they made it across he let out a cheer. "My princess you were wonderful! We could have never made it across without your clever mind!" He smiles and as he promised he bowed to the other spawn. "We have one more thing to pass before we can be free of this borring place." having said this Vali looked around and then he nods seeing a short slide, "We but hurry down the escape tunnel before the tower and this castle fall down!" he held out his hand for Pippin's. "We must hurry! For this castle can not stay standing without the pure princess trapped inside."

"Oh thank you knight! I shall always cherish your service! And no need to bow, it's quite alright." the boy said, his lips still holding quite the grin. This was the funnest time he had had in... well... as long as he could remember. He just hoped he and Vali could play more, lots more! Vali was really nice, and he liked him a lot.
Pippin's expression turned a bit shy at the compliments from the other spawn, "Oh, thank you. I didn't really do that much though~" he said, twiddling his fingers before reaching out and taking the hand of the other. He gripped it tightly, still afraid of falling as they ran for the next, and last, obstacle.
"We'd better hurry! I think it's starting to fall! I can hear it!" he pretended, gripping the other once more and sliding down the slide, both of them together so that they landed at the bottom with a small, but not painful, 'thump' in a pile. Pippin hadn't planned that one out very well, but at least they weren't hurt. In fact, he began to laugh.
"There! We made it!" he said with joy, wrapping his arms tightly around the other in a warm hug. He had never done that to anyone besides his mother, but the urge had struck him so suddenly he couldn't contain himself.

Vali looked a bit confused as Pippin told him not to bow. But he smiled shortly after. "Knights and Princes all ways bow to their princess." He shook his head. "Oh you did so much. I would have never known the code to the bridge had you not been there. You are truly the greatest of princesses!"
As they ran for the slide Vali could not help but laugh as he could 'hear' the tower falling too. As he got onto the slide with Pippin he ducked his head, "The guards are shooting magic arrows at us!" But the short slide ride ending in a pile made him laugh again as he tried to get off his princess. "Oh I am sorry for squishing you Princess Pippin!" but hearing the other laugh made him laugh even more and he nods, "Yes we made it!"
He was shocked to have someone hug him so fondly. He had never been hugged by anyone other than the few times his guardian hugged him. He really liked the warm feeling of someone holding him, so his arms carefully wrapped around the other's waist as he hugged back. This was far too much fun. He would have to find a way to meet up with Pippin more and play more often.
He slowly pulled away and then looked down at his side. "Oh no....princess....I was hit with a magic arrow...." he looked up with mock fear and then he looked down at his hand. "Oh no....it is a tickle spell!" he said as his fingers started wiggle, "Princess....I don't think I can fight it....you have to break the spell on me!" He said and his fingers moved to try and tickle Pippin's silver ear wings.

Pippin couldn't even describe exactly how flattered he was at Vali's words. Nobody had ever made him feel this special really except for his mother. He felt a bit empowered, and it felt good. It felt good to have a little bit of a self-esteem boost from someone other than a parent. He was just glad he had known the right code to get over the bridge and they were both safe!
Giggling at the bottom the boy caught his breath for a moment before scurrying to make sure the arrow hadn't mortally wounded his new friend, "Vali! Oh no! he said, examining the other's side where the 'arrow' hit. "It's fine I got squished! Are you okay!?"
After Vali spoke once more the spawn's eyes widened to the size of dinner plates. He bit his lip as Vali's hands neared him, trying his hardest not to laugh. He was unbelievable ticklish and began to giggle a tad before the other had even touched him.
"Oh no! Not that! How do I break the spell!?!? he asked hurriedly. There was only one way he knew how to break a spell...

Even though it was a fake wound Vali felt very happy. It was as if he knew that Pippin would be will to help him if he were ever shot. He was so glad that Dooma had brought him to the park that day. This was too fun.
And as he heard the other start to laugh he smiles, "I don't know...To save a curse or spelled princess the knight or.... prince has to kiss the princess." He said and he kept tickling his new friend. He tried to becareful of his blades but he was not going to stop this curse until they work out a way to stop it.

Pippin wriggled a bit, snickering and biting his lip in an attempt to stop. His headwings were just so ticklish, he couldn't even help it. In fact, he could just barely speak to the other as they attempted to compromise, "Has to kiss them?" he said through quick fits of laughter.
Celi looked over at her son, hearing him laugh put an immediate smile across her lips. She was glad to see him socializing, it made her quite obviously overjoyed. It seemed that as long as Pippin was happy, she could be happy. Thankfully the woman looked away before...
Pippin leaned up, trying his very hardest not to laugh as he spoke, "Just make it stoooooop it tickles so much!" he laughed, puckering his lips and giving Vali a quick little kiss in hopes that the spell would be broken before he wet himself.

Vali smiled warmly enjoying the laugh. It was so enjoyable to hear his new friend laughing and enjoying himself so much. The silver spawn shrugs at the suggestion of the kiss. He sounded like her was desperatly trying to stop himself. "I...oh I don't know.....we....oh princess it is worth a tr....I can't stop princess!" he said as his fingers kept working over the soft as silk and velvet wings. He could not believe how softly they were. They were so beautiful as well.
He laughed as well though he was in fact shocked to get the soft kiss. He was sure it was ment for his cheek but it landed on his cold silver lips. But sure enough it worked and his fingers stopped thier tickling. He himself smiled brightly and wrapped his arms around Pippin in a big hug. "Oh my princess you are a genius! It worked." he smiled and gently let the other boy go with a laugh. "That is the most fun I have had. Thank you Pippin!"

Pippin blushed, having felt his lips hit Vali's chill skin. For some reason he never expected the other to be so cold, not that it was a problem of course. The boy just seemed so warm in attitude that the cold was unexpected. He was glad Vali wasn't upset about his action though, and instead thrilled that the spell had been broken, "We did it! We made it out of the castle Vali!"
The young boy willingly accepted the hug, wrapping his own arms around the metal body and nuzzling his head into Vali's shoulder slightly. "Me too! I've never had that much fun! You're awesome!" he said, having enjoyed the whole game and friend... well...
"Vali, I can call you my friend, right?" he asked, not wanting to interpret the day wrong and go around telling people about his friend if the other didn't feel the same about them. He would feel foolish if something like that were to happen, so he felt it was better to be safe than sorry. It just seemed like the logical thing for the young spawn to do.

Vali gave a soft cheer and nods, "Yes we did. That castle and spell were no match for us!" He slowly let go of Pippin as he was complimented and then asked a question. His metal cheeks grew darker as he blushed. He had never been complimented before and he never thought of himself as awesome. But the question right after snapped him out of his sudden attack of shyness.
He smiled brightly and nods, "Of course we are friends. I saved you didn't I? I will always be there to save my friend and princess!" He smiles and nods moved to get to his feet and hold out his hand, "I want you to meet Dooma...we can make our friendship official if you like. Maybe we can get something like friendship bands or a handshake....or something."
This really was the best day of his young life so far. He was a knight and saved a princess who was going to be his friend. He actually got a friend and very cool one that that.

Pippin's heart lept when Vali accepted their friendship. Vali was so nice, and the young spawn could hardly even believe that they were friends! Vali seemed so much cooler than him, but he was overjoyed nonetheless. And not only did the other think of a friend but a princess too! Pippin felt like he could fly, even though he didn't know how to yet. He just felt so great right now!
"Okay, but you have to meet my mother too! I'll go get her and our mothers can meet each other too!" he said, excited at the notion. In his mind, if their mothers met they might be able to hang out more. Maybe Vali could even come over! That would be super fun too!
He left Vali's side for only a moment to run over and retrieve his mother, taking her by the wrist and back over to Vali so they could meet Dooma and make the friendship official. Maybe he was right, they could get bracelets or something! That would be cool too! Vali seemed to always have the best ideas! He was both smart and cool to boot! "Okay! I wanna meet Dooma!"

Vali smiles and nods, "Oh yes our mothers should meet! Then we can play more." he said happily as he watched Pippin run away from him. He didn't even mind the other running from him right now because he knew that it was not in fear. He had someone who really could be his friend now. He could not stop himself from smiling wide enough to hurt his jaw.
When Pippin returned Vali smiled brightly and bowed, "You must be the Queen! I am knight Vali. I saved Pippin from the tower and the evil curse!" he said softly addressing Pippin's mother. If Pippin was a princess then his mother had to be the queen it made perfect sense. He smiles and reahes out to take Pippin's hand again, "Come on Dooma if over here!" he laughed and let the way to his skull wearing mother who was looking over a book.
"Dooma I brought my friend Pippin to meet you!" he sad happily his tail swaying and every now and then tapping Pippin in the back.
Dooma looked up from her book and saw the two spawns and a woman. She set her book down and stood up. "Well it is nice to meet you Pippin and this is your mother I take it?" She held out a hand for the other woman. She was not shocked that Vali had found a friend but very relieved. He was too sweet to be alone all the time.

Pippin's dear mother looked rather confused when Vali addressed her a the Queen, but as he said he was a knight she began to understand they must have been playing pretend. "It's a pleasure to meet you." she said with a smile as her son held tightly to her wrist.
Pippin hurried to follow his friend, perfectly ready to meet his mother and introduce his own. In his mind, the quicker the mothers met, the better of a chance they would have of playing together some other time and having lots and lots of fun again! He nodded, running after and dragging his mother until he saw a woman with a skull on her head.
At first the mask frightened him a bit, but seeing how kind the woman seemed eased his nerves, "Hi! Yeah, this is my mother." he said, tugging at her clothes. Celi smiled and shook the other woman's hand in greeting, calmly introducing herself and such.
"So, you have a spawn too." she said warmly.

Dooma smiled and nods, "It is nice to meet you both, yes I do have a spawn. He is my first, how about yours?" She looked over at Vali and Pippin, "How about you two go and play on the playground some more wail the two of us talk and get to know each other?"
Vali smiles brightly and nods, "Come on Pippin lets go and play!" He started to head back to the playground laughing and wanting to spend even more time with Pippin before they had to part ways. He was already trying to think of new thigns they could do together. New games to play. Maybe they could even go over to each other's houses.
