"Same. Mostly working this swimming thing, but not reeally much of anything." Teh sun felt nice today. It was warm and relaxing. Much better than that storm they had a while back. Some of the places he went to still seemed pretty tore up.
"Did you ride out the storm okay? Was prety nasty on land." he said, settling himself a little mroe comfortably on his stomach.

"Yeah, I guess I did. I went to the lake and stayed with Coral. She the girl who watched over me. I guess she's like my mom." Memphis told him with a nod of her head that caused her hair to flow around her.
"So, how good have you gotten, sug? Mind if I showed ya something below?" The Naiad pointed to below the water.

CAdassi crakced an eye open and stared at the water thoguhtfully. "Are you sure you won't try to fry me again?" he asked, already pulling himself up into a sitting position.
Darn the bad luck, he had just gotton comfortable. Oh well, not like there was anything better to do that day.

"Oh, don't worry it doesn't work as well under that water. And I know you aren't a shark now." The naiad adult nodded with a giggle.
Once done talking she dove into the water. There she bobbed up and down waiting for the demon to follow her. She wasn't sure he'd be able to understand her under that water, but she would give it a try.

Cadassi stretched a second before following her in the water, his entrance a little less graceful.
"So... Where we going?" he asked.

Memphis smiled at Cadassi. "Well, wait and see, sug." She winked at him and then began to swim. She wasn't going to take him too far seeing that he was only partly from the sea. She didn't want something to happen and him to be able to get back to land. Still, what she was going to show him was cool.

Cadassi nodded, paddling after her. He trusted her more than most other pae he'd met. Which said a lot, considering he didn't trust anyone.
"You look a bit tanner. Enjoying the sunlight now that the storm passed over?" he asked, trying to make some sort of conversation. It had been a while saw each otherand he didn't want ackward silence ruining their time togther.

Memphis giggled. She was happy the guy noticed. That was nice. "Thanks. Yeah, I'm glad that is over. I was worried about you. But it looks like you made it through, okay." She smiled again and nodded. "How's life been on the land Cadassi?"
She kept moving toward her goal. It was still within reach of the shore as to make sure it was okay for the demon.

Cadassi followed, his steady but slow paddle keeping him a few feet behind his naiad mentor. "It's been... Interesting." he said, snorting a bit at the last word. "Been meeting all kinds of pae here lately. SOme more interesting than others." he explained, enjoying the feel of the water moving around him as he glided through the wate rin his clumsy version of swim.

"Well, isn't that nice, sug. I haven't met anyone new since I met you. That's okay, one great friend is worth more then a dozen bad ones. Like one good milk cow verses... never mind." Memphis wasn't even aware of how or why she knew this... homespun wisdom. She chuckled to herself.
Soon they were getting close to what Memphis was bringing them too. From where they were it look like purple and orange crystals coming from the ground. Closer would show they were coral.

Cadassi frowned, hoping he wasn't keeping Memphis from meeting new people. He didn't want to hog the sweet naiad all to himself. she deserved to have lots of friends, as nice as she was.
Cadassi's thoughts trailed off as they approached the coral feilds. "Where are we?" he asked, eyes darting over the bright colors in amazment.

Memphis smiled as she looked to Cadassi. "This is where we were going, hun. These are Coal. Pretty aren't they?" She nodded as she began to swim among the different colors of rock.
Memphis had often liked to go to this place. It was beautiful and peaceful. Even during the big storm they had had a while back. It was what kept her coming back to the ocean instead of the lake.

"It's beautiful!!" the blue demon exclaimed. Reaching out, Cadassi softly touched of the colorful rocks. "They're so... Free formed. And bright." he said, swiveling his head left and right in appreciation of the sights.

Coral: Wow that's sad.
"They are. I like to come down here and look at them. When I'm not sunning or something." She laughed and looked at a blue rock that matched her hair. Very nice, she thought.

Cadassi knelt down and touched a fernlike coral, smiling in appreciation when it tucked it's fronds back into itself when he carressed it. "I wonder how long they're been here on isles." he mused outloud, tickling another coral into retraction.
((Brightly colored coal? Good lord, we are on a strange island. lol))
