Subu nodded to the male with a slight chuckle - females, it seemed they were testy in any species. This thought made his mind flicker back to the temperamental purple female he'd met a few days ago. He wasn't sure why his thoughts kept swaying to her, it was rather strange for him to keep thinking of someone he'd only met for a brief time.
"Good luck with your mate" He told the lion as he padded of, he got the distinct impression that the lions mate was a bit of an odd one - just by the tone the lion had made his statements about her in. But he must at least care for her he thought - else why would he be hurrying back to please her? Shaking his head slightly Subu watched as the male grew smaller in the distance before turning around and loping off himself.
