Abeline nodded and finished packing her desk up.
"If you have trouble, ring me." She informed Imogen. She had a cunning plan. She would let Imogen wander off a little, and then she would henshin and follow her; uncovering any daring negaverse plots that the other girl might be involved in.
It was so delicious, it should have been illegal. Illegal for Abe to come up with ideas that is...

"Thanks Abe, I'll see you later!" Again she tilted her head just that fraction as she smiled and raised her hand goodbye, her other hand holding the strap of her bag to her shoulder. Then Imo was off, curls bobbing, quickly. She had a game plan that involved getting snacks, getting a DVD...and puzzling over if Abe had always stared so. Still, her ultimate goal was to get to know her better so she wasn't going to let it bother her she decided as she hurried to pick up her things and get changed.
Her time spent picking up her over-the-weekend bag and changing out of her uniform gave the other girl plenty of time to henshin up and follow her.

And stalk follow Imogen she did. If she was spotted, it might have been cause for concern; after all being followed by a scantily clad teenager with the trademarkings of a terrorist senshi in the middle of the afternoon was a worry. Being followed at all should have been cause for concern. As it was, Abeline stuck in the dark alleys and rooftops like... welll... like a sparkly batman. With really good posture.
If she was caught, Abe would be hard-pressed to explain herself. Imogen was just... so damn suspicious! She looked so familiar it was uncanny. Familiar to a girl that PastCancer had liked but felt... felt... odd about liking? Unable to confess? Why on earth that was- Abe probably didn't want to know- and so it felt painful to be near her. Had she been a girl he'd liked back on earth and turned out to be a negaverse traitor?? Why wasn't she getting more flashbacks about this? With Pierrette it was like their own personal porno started playing whenever eyes met eyes and she had thoughts that--- Abeline had never had thoughts about girls in such a manner before-- made her squirm.
But this... this was... like a longing, an urge. An urge that prompted her to stalk the poor girl! Not that Abeline wasn't cool and controlled, but stalking was--- she was not stalking. She was pursuing a suspect.

Abeline was treated to a very dull couple of hours. Imo switched into her casual clothes (dress, light coat, hair let completely down for a change) and got a coffee. She drank said coffee and after going to the video rental shop and coming out with a little pouting frown, walked briskly with her iPod in her friend's house. There she was hugged on the doorstep, then, bizarrely, they danced a few steps down his front path laughing with each other before he vanished inside to fetch the DVD. DVD got, Imo went to the library to return some books, nipped into a cornershop to get some snacks and took some milk home to her own house, kissing her grandmother's cheek when the old lady came to the door...
Imo led Abe all over, all bouncing red curls and swirling skirt and smiles. She certaintly didn't look evil. But as it started to get duskier she did stop to adjust her bag so the handle of what looked to be a short baseball bat stuck out the top. Her new anti-youma bat, the replacement for the one that got burned when the imp attacked her and Sailor Vanadis. She hadn't see a youma since, but, Imo hadn't let her hopes get too high she wouldn't see another one.
So, with the sun headed for the horizon, Imo was right on time for going to Abeline's after a quick map check. She had had no idea Abe had been with her all along.

Okay, so Abeline was just beginning to think that Imogen was normal (and she had de-henshined about 20 minutes in because turns out; being senshi for long periods of time was a drainnnn) She was stalking through the bushes, spying through a pair of binoculars at the other girl (she had 'borrowed' them off a peeper who had been on one of the shop roofs.
Pretty convinced that anyone who still gave their grandma' a kiss on the cheek couldn't be evil (after all, negaverse minions all hatched from eggs.... right?) she had been about to crawl in through the back-door of her house and be all 'ohh, Imogen, you're here, how lovely. Me? I've been home allll this time.' when she saw something....
Oh My God. Imogen was a spy!! This secured it. Oh s**t! What should she do!?!?
Abeline had a few moments of panic. Should she call Hero? "Hero! There is a negaverse spy and I invited her home and now she's going to beat me to death with a spiked club in her backpack and she may watch a romance movie and seduce my corpse with her wily ways!!" No, that would probably get her a worried look and a straight jacket. Or maybe she should call Zue, because he could sniff out senshi, surely he'd know that Imogen was evil anti-senshi smell and immediately they could use laserbeams and...
But, Abe thought to herself viciously, I'm overthinking this! Imogen didn't know that Abeline knew that she was a negaverse spy. If she let the girl in, was all smiles and 'how are you Imogen? what a lovely shirt, it reminds me of a bird of paradise...' then Imogen would be seduced by Abeline's charms into revealling her evil plot.
Oh god, it was crazy, a silly, crazy plan.
"So crazy, it just might work."
SOooo the original plan; and plan C were enacted. Froust ran ahead of Imogen around the block, vaulted the back fence, and opened the backdoor with her key, dumped her schoolbag and straightened her uniform.
By the time the doorbell rang, she didn't look flushed at all.
"Imogen. Please come in." She even smiled.

Imo had no idea that her anti-youma precaution had been seen nor that it'd been identified as evidence she was a Negaverse agent. She'd had a rough time of it seeing four youma after Barren Pines and while she hoped never to see another, she wanted to have a bat so she had a decent-ish weapon if she got trapped where she couldn't run. Unless someone wanted to give her Gemini Beta's pager or Vanadis' mobile number for emergencies...
She was just glad it was still somewhat light out and she'd not had to use it by the time she reached Abeline's. She ran a hand through her hair, failing to tame it at all, before ringing the doorbell. When Abe opened it, she simply beamed.
"Found my way alright! I wasn't sure if you'd want sweet or salty popcorn, so I got both."

Ohh, Abeline was not going to fall for this trap of popcorn buttering up. "Either is fine. Please, come inside. It's almost dark outside and... you know."
Which was more of a 'you know' than a 'you know' statement. Because Abeline was fishing for information; what did this negaverse spy with her duffle bag full of weapons and torture equipment (and popcorn and a DVD coincidentally) know about the youma who prowled the streets after-dark? Because that subtle foreshadowing of a hidden knowledge implied so much. Dear god, did Abe just give away that she knew that Imogen knew---
"I have some drinks in the fridge. Would you like something?" Haha, this would get Imogen on guard. Had Abeline poisoned her cherry-soda? Was there odourless, colourless poison in it? Would this sip be her last? Of course she would probably accept and spend the time worrying. Not knowing that Abeline was unafraid of her.
Being paranoid was hard work. Abe's brain was not cut out for it (let alone much of anything) and she had a few doubts about Imogen's evil alter-ego. Funnily enough. Why would a negaverse spy get caught in such a bad situation with a senshi, especially Abeline?
Well a negaverse spy was the most logical conclusion, right?
If Imogen spoke, Abeline's brain didn't hear it, as a vivid flash of memory gripped her.

Since Imo had already mentioned 'youma-monsters' back in the classroom, she simply nodded abscently that yes, she knew and came in. Didn't knwo it from an insiders point of view as a Negaverse or Senshi would have but she definitely knew.
"No thanks, I'm fine." Perhaps Abe would take that as a sign that Imo suspected poison. She kept her bag hitched on her shoulder a moment, thinking they'd likely move to the kitchen or the living room or Abe's own room rather than staying in the hallway.
"I just realised something on the way over - you're going to be at Fallon's Dinner Party this week, right? Abeline...? Are you okay?" Abeline had zoned out and didn't seem to be hearing her. She reached out her free hand, concerned, to touch her shoulder gently and get her attention.
They were visiting and so she had come to find Cancer as always. Thankfully he'd not been busy playing 'checkers' with Pisces but he was lost in thought, so the redheaded girl reached out to touch his shoulder gently and get his attention.

The stars of the universe glittered around them and that sweet smell invaded his senses. A touch of red on the edge of his vision, the sound of an angelic voice. This was torture. Did she not know what she did to him, standing there like a goddess on his doorstep? Eyes wide, those lips... damnit.
"Let's go to my room." He spoke; like she hadn't just startled him out of reverie. One hand raised like he was going to touch her hair and then lowered. No, he shouldn't. Like a man deprived of water, one sip would send him insane. It was too much; he looked away from her because she would surely burn him from the inside out.
Abeline inhaled sharply, the touch on her shoulder bringing her back to the present and stumbled a little. Woahhh. No more complaining about a lack of flashbacks!
"Yes?" Abeline asked like she hadn't just choked on intensity. PastCancer had been a deep guy after all. But why would Imogen have known him? It was... odd. And didn't rule her out of being a negaverse agent! She wasn't a Zodiac; right? Because Zue would have noticed, surely. So no wonder PastCancer hadn't been able to confess, because the Zodiac were all married together, and...god her brain was getting its wires crossed.
Abe turned on her heels and motioned for Imogen to follow her upstairs.

"So long as you're okay. " She bit her lip as she followed Abeline upstairs. She couldn't remember seeing Abeline ever loose her cool like this back at Barren Pines, except when Lucas was around (being a pain in the neck). They could always do this some other time if something was up with Abe. But then again, maybe this was just what Abe was like and Imo didn't know because they didn't know each other so well yet? Then again, the way she'd started just now...
She had no way of knowing the flashbacks Abeline had seen of course. Truth was even if she was Awakened, and she wasn't, she'd still not know. The Zodiac would remember her past self better than Imo would. She'd always remain clueless unless someone told her or the memories were somehow unlocked.
Imo was in two minds about it. Maybe depending on how Abe was, they could watch the film then Imo'd go? If Abe wasn't feeling so good, or was upset about something, Imo didn't want to bother her.

Ok? She was going insane! She was running on a treadmill of curiosity and half-pondered thoughts and... really, the only way to know for certain would be to corner Imogen about it, would be to get her relaxed and ask... are you a negaverse spy? or something like did you know my past life, self? and one of those sounded a whee bit unusual.
"I'm fine. This is my room, and this is the guest room..." she moved a little down the hall and opened the guest room door. "if you are comfortable sleeping in my room I will set up the futon on the floor. Or you can sleep on the bed in here."
Haha what a cunning trap it was! Obviously a negaverse spy would be afraid to share a room with Abeline and want the guest room, but if she went for the guest room then Abeline would know that Imogen knew that she was a senshi and that she KNEW that Imogen knew.
Something like steam oozed inside Abe's brain.
"But lets dump your gear here and go watch the movie." She spoke innocently enough.
Keeping up with Abeline's behaviour would give most people whiplash She was hot, cold, cold, hot, cold, hot, cold, warm, indiferent. And that was on a good day. Her plan today was about as cooky as any plan was; seduce Imogen into letting her guard down; then stake the zombie-worshiping negaverse girl in her sleep. OR call Zue or Hero and tell them that she had a girl who gave her strange feelings and bitter flashbacks about love in her house.
Now THAT would be an interesting telephone conversation.
Abe lead the other girl upstairs and they watched a romantic comedy. And Abeline Froust stayed awake allll night staring at the negaverse spy in her house.
