{1/1 Water Puddle Technique}

Taya studied the next jutsu, seeing how it would be a great technique for a trap. She began to copy the hand seals, slowly forming her hand as the scroll depicted. On the last time Koutaya performed the seals, she used her chakra to activate the jutsu. She immediately felt an odd sensation gripping her body, as she literally dissolved into water. She became a puddle upon the ground, and then ended the jutsu, reforming herself to her true form.

Koutaya sat back upon a rock, removing yet another scroll. It had a large picture of a dragon upon it. She had lifted it from the Library at Otogakure, and now was the time to become one with it. This would take some time, thought Taya as she examined the scroll. It was rather lengthy, and held alot of information.

{1/20 Dragon}

Taya looked at the picture of the dragon, having knowledge that there are many different types. She wanted a great fire-breathing dragon, with claws and teeth, and wings. The dragon would possibly be her most favorite transformation, though she wanted a smaller dragon form, so she would be able to use it longer, and not have to wait as long afterwords.

{2/20}

Taya studied the picture first, trying to get a feel for the dragon's shape. She started at the head, and examined it closely. The dragon's head was shaped so it could see straight, and more to the side than humans.

{3/20}

The teeth of the dragon were insanely sharp, able to easily shred as well as crunch bones. There were many teeth, lines of sharp pearly whites lining the jaw. The tongue was forked and barbed, rough from the usage of flame.

{4/20}

The jaws of the dragon were very strong, the muscles lining it could be used to chomp through metal. She read that there was even a feature called lockjaw, which would keep the mouth clamped through maneuvers.

{5/20}

The nose of the dragon was just at the snout, and was very, very useful. It was similar to a dogs nose, but with the ability to shoot smoke out of it. The skin, or rather scales of the dragon were rough and overlapping, made as a natural armor.

{6/20}

The eyes of the dragon were rather beady, though seemed to be layered. They could see how an eagle could, and even had the ability to see in the dark. There seemed to be an under-layer of the eyelids, better to protect their eyes.

{7/20}

The ears of a dragon were like holes, similar to a frogs. They were located on the sides of the head and had long spike-like things jutting off. They were top notch, able to hear things from far off. Atop the head, were great horns, which could pierce most armor.

{8/20}

The neck of the dragon was long and flexible, able to bend around quite easily. The underside of the dragon's neck was not protected by scales, making the underside the weak point. They would first have to get by the claws and teeth before they could even think about attacking the dragon's weak point.

{9/20}

The shoulders of the dragon were wide and muscular, used to make the arms work hard. Spikes lined the shoulders all the way down to the tail. From the back of the shoulders, strong flexible cartilage.

{10/20}

The frame of the wings was strong and not too thick. Lined with muscles, the wings were used for flight. The wings themselves were a veiny, thick material, almost like dried leather. They were somewhat opaque, and rather heavy. The wings were larger than the dragon itself, which was a necessity if the dragon wished to stay in the air.

{11/20}

The back of the dragon was rather sinewy, line with muscles and it's natural armor. Down it's back was a trail of spikes, which lead to the long tail. The sides of the dragon were protected by scales again, though the underside was not.

{12/20}

The front arms of the dragon were thick with muscles and scales, not too long, but long enough to be considered deadly weapons. The scariest part of them, were the claws at the end. Long, sharp, and black, the nails could skewer a person easily.

{13/20}

The body of the dragon was thick, though only due to the bones inside of them. Again, it was lined with muscles and meat. The sides and back were covered with scales, and again, the underside was not covered.

{14/20}

The hind legs of the dragon were thick, thicker than the front legs. These were what got the dragon off the ground when it came to flight. Again, they were muscular, and guarded by scales. They were adorned with dagger-like nails, sharp as hell and scary to boot.

{15/20}

The tail of the dragon jut off the body, long, and thick at first, and then thinning at the end. It was line with spikes, and could be used as a club. It was mostly used as a steering system for the dragon, either keeping it straight or used to make it turn.

{16/20}

The skeletal make up of the dragon was rather similar to a horse, of course adding the wings and odd shaped head and tail. It was hollow of course, as to keep the dragon light enough for flight. The dragon was a homiothermic creature, able to change its body temperature at will. This enabled the creature to live in many different environments.

{17/20}

Now, here came the part that lured Taya to the dragon. When dragons eat, they digest the food in a regular stomach. The digestion then continues in a second stomach that breaks down the food even further. After the dragon's body has used all it can from the second digestion, the body then turns the leftover food and acid into a byproduct of hydrogen. The dragon can hold the hydrogen in various large glands in it's body for later use, and can call upon it at any time it needs to.

{18/20}

When the dragon needs to belch it's flame, the glands release the hydrogen into the lungs where it mixes with other various chemicals the body creates. Once this mixture finds oxygen, it burns extremely hot, and very quick.

{19/20}

Taya now had a full picture of the dragon she wished to be, and felt she was ready to transform. It would be painful, for the creature was vastly different form a human. Taya would shoulder it, for it would make her stronger. She performed the necessary hand seals, and let the chakra surge about her. Her mouth opened as she gasped in pain, tears forming in the corner of her eyes. It felt like someone was splitting her down the middle, bursting through her skin. She could have sworn someone was pouring molten lava down into her veins as the bones in her body rearranged and grew. The chakra stayed around her as she was forced to her hands and knees. Her cheek bones jutted out, and her muscles bulged. Through her tears, she could see her own reflection in the little pond. Her face looked as if it had acquainted itself with a brick wall a few times over. Her skin was sticking out, forming into the scales. Even her eyes were slowly turning, making her vision increase in one eye, but remain human in the other. She collapsed on the ground, cringing and screaming from the pain. Taya could feel her back elongating, and herself growing a tail. Her nails grew large and black, sharpening into daggers. Taya closed her eyes, curling into a ball.

{20/20}

Taya opened her ice once the molten lava dispersed. She knew alot of time had passed, since the sun was setting now. Taya went to stretch out her body, oddly surprised at the scaly arms infront of her. Her nails were claws, and damn she could see everything. Her head felt oddly long, and...far from her body. Her entire being was altered, but she felt so proud of herself. Taya still ached, all over. She hurt in places she never knew existed. Taya flexed, and flapped her wings a bit. She was so over joyed, she let out a roar, and cringed, not expecting the sound. Taya mentally laughed at herself, and took off at a light run. Her muscles clenched and unclenched, propelling her forth. She flexed her hind legs, and launched herself into the air. Her wings gave a might push, and launched her into the sky. For a good couple of minutes, Taya enjoyed the feeling of being the biggest predator in the sky. She sucked in a deep breath, and out of instinct, launched a jet of flames. After awhile, Taya could feel the technique ending. She landed, leaving a small crater under each of her feet.

{1/2 Water Shuriken}

Taya yawned as she started a fire. She had already built a small fire pit, and gathered wood and dry things from the surrounding areas. Now, she pulled out a scroll, thankful for the moonlight. She had to squint a bit, though it was no matter. Taya saw how the Water Shuriken would launch from the water, rather than being made from water. Taya read over the seals, and copied them with her own hands.

{2/2}

Taya formed the seals once more, and tapped into her chakra reserves. The water from the stagnant pool rose, and formed into shurikens. They launched forth, impaling the ground.

{½ Beach Crab}
Taya read over the next technique, studying the seals and the description. This technique would create a claw to rise from certain types of grounds, and grab an opponent. It would go even farther than that, and drag the opponent under the ground, trapping them there. Of course, they would be able to get out if they were strong enough, easily if it were on water. She copied the hand seals, imitating them with her hands.

{2/2}
Taya weaved hand signs, and drew upon her chakra. It shot forth through the ground, and into the little pond. The surface bubbled for just a moment, before a large crab claw shot skyward, clamping down on an imaginary enemy. Taya ended the jutsu, watching the claw disappear into nonexistence.

{½ Water Shield Technique}
Koutaya read over the next scroll, feeling calmed at the moment. Training always put a damper on the world, which was a good thing right now. She learned that the shield would rise around her, covering her just past her head. Then, she would be able to manipulate the water, and create tentacles or spikes of some sort.

{2/2}
Taya performed the seals, allowing her chakra to shoot out around her, enveloping her. Water began to gather around her, first in large splotches, and then they formed together, forming a solid barrier around her. She looked up, seeing how the water just covered her. She extended the technique a bit more, going so far as to create tentacles that launched out, adding a bit of offense to the shield.

{1/5}

Taya read over the next technique, seeing how it was a great offensive jutsu. If she was ever disarmed, this would come in handy. Taya particularly enjoyed how she could change the shape of the weapon.

{2/5}

Taya studied the hand seals, and went through them a few times over in her head. She didn't bother taking her eyes off, and performed them over for each time she messed up.

{3/5}

Taya continued to do the seals right up until she could do them at a fast pace, without messing up once. She rose to her feet, dusting herself off a bit as she did so. Taya once more performed the seals, and exerted her chakra.

{4/5}

Taya slightly opened her palm, feeling the water collect there. At first it was nothing more than a shape indiscernable from a blob. The water then began to form itself into a dagger, which Jade could easily weild. The edges were fine and sharp, and grew as Jade added more chakra.

{5/5}

The dagger began to grow longer, turning into a tanto. The tanto grew larger, turning into a shortsword. The shortsword grew longer, turning into a hand and a half sword. The hand and a half sword grew even longer, into a claymore, which in turn grew into a nodachi. The weapon wasn't suited for Taya's small frame, but she could feel she was at her limits.

{1/5 Water Puddle Transformation}

Taya studied the next jutsu on the list that she wanted to learn. It would enable her to maneuver easily in the event she was on water. It was a two part technique, first she would turn herself into a puddle atop water, and then regather herself in another position.

{2/5}

Taya studied the hand seals, and went through them a few times over in her head. She didn't bother taking her eyes off, and performed them over for each time she messed up.

{3/5}

Taya continued to do the seals right up until she could do them at a fast pace, without messing up once. She rose to her feet, dusting herself off a bit as she did so. Taya once more performed the seals, and exerted her chakra.

{4/5}

Koutaya walked out to the pond, using chakra to keep her afloat. She suddenly turned into a puddle of water, diffusing throughout the pond. As the second part of the jutsu activated, Taya picked a spot she wasn't at, and felt herself being drawn to it.

{5/5}

It was probably the weirdest sensation, redeveloping that is. She thought she had grown used to it, what with the transformations she could do. At first it was just her head, then she could use her arm. After, Taya pulled herself up, watching her legs reform from the water.

{1/5 Water Reflection Clone}

Taya walked out to the water, using a steady flow of chakra to stay above the surface. She had read the next technique, and knew it was to be performed on said water. This would allow her reflection to step out as a clone and attack, and it was stronger than a regular clone.

{2/5}

Taya studied the hand seals, and went through them a few times over in her head. She didn't bother taking her eyes off, and performed them over for each time she messed up.

{3/5}

Taya continued to do the seals right up until she could do them at a fast pace, without messing up once. She rose to her feet, dusting herself off a bit as she did so. Taya once more performed the seals, and exerted her chakra.

{4/5}

Taya's chakra entered the water, finding her reflection. For a moment it shimmered, and then ceased to move. A hand reached up from the water, an ominous sight, as it was her reflection.

{5/5}

The clone began to pull itself out of the water, it's body forming from her reflection. Taya watched in awe, surprised at the sight. She, for some reason was expecting something more similar to a regular bunshin. The clone pulled itself fully out, and looked at Taya. Taya dispatched the clone after examining it, using her fist to pound it in the face.

{1/5 Water Armor}
Taya stepped out of the water in order to read the next jutsu. She reached into her pack, and pulled out a piece of bread, which thankfully had not gone stale. As she read about the defensive jutsu, Taya munched. She would be coated with a layer of water, which would help against taijutsu and flame attacks.

{2/5}
Taya studied the hand seals, and went through them a few times over in her head. She didn't bother taking her eyes off, and performed them over for each time she messed up.

{3/5}
Taya continued to do the seals right up until she could do them at a fast pace, without messing up once. She rose to her feet, dusting herself off a bit as she did so. Taya once more performed the seals, and exerted her chakra.

{4/5}
Taya stood still as water from the pond rose into the air, and moved towards her. It latched onto her arms, and she felt a cooling sensation. The water began to merge with oher splotches.

{5/5}

Taya now had a full suit of water around her, she felt awkward. Taya reached her hand out to the fire, feeling nothing much. Taya ended the jutsu, letting the water fall.

{1/5 Evil Windmill Shuriken}
Taya read the next jutsu while sitting by her fire, sipping upon some ill-prepared tea. Her resources were beginning to run low, so she would need to enter a market of some sorts and restock. She released the pin that usually held back her hair, letting it fall about her face. Taya infact was quite the sight, though now marred by hatred and anxiety. She was constantly on the watch, wondering why no one had been sent to capture her. She knew that Gin wouldve- Taya shook her head, clearing her mind of said man. She read the description, particularly liking how the devil shuriken could split into smalller shuriken, making for a much versatile attack.

{2/5}
Taya studied the hand seals, and went through them a few times over in her head. She didn't bother taking her eyes off, and performed them over for each time she messed up.

{3/5}
Taya continued to do the seals right up until she could do them at a fast pace, without messing up once. She rose to her feet, dusting herself off a bit as she did so. Taya once more performed the seals, and exerted her chakra.

{4/5}
Taya's chakra launched into the pond, making it bubble rather eerily. From the water rose a shape, similar to a cross at first. The soon to be shuriken began to refine itself as Taya rose to her feet, grasping the large projectile about the center. The edges sharpened themselves as the shape grew much more defined.

{5/5}
Taya crouched low as she prepared to saw the top off of tall stalks. Her arm cocked back as she took aim, and began to run forth. Taya launched her arm forth, releasing the giant shuriken at the right moment, making it go straight forward. A slicing noise sounded as the evil windmill shuriken easily sliced through the stalks of wheat and what not. Taya performed yet another seal, and watched as the evil windmill split into smaller ones, smashing into a tree and reverting to their droplet form.

{1/5 Mud Ball}
Taya yawned and stretched her limbs, a few pops issuing from them. She rose to her feet, carrying the water scroll with her. She walked to the waters edge, and performed hand seals, manipulating the water to purge it of its staleness and debris. Once the task was done, she placed the scroll upon a rock, and began to undress herself. As usual, Taya had little to cover herself in the first place, thus the task was short and over with in a matter of moments. She entered the water, getting the goose-bumps from the immediate coldness. Taya once more used water manipulation to heat the water, creating a make-shift bath. As she soaked, Taya read the next jutsu, deciphering that it would be best suited to weigh down an opponent and capture them.

{2/5}
Taya studied the hand seals, and went through them a few times over in her head. She didn't bother taking her eyes off, and performed them over for each time she messed up.

{3/5}
Taya continued to do the seals right up until she could do them at a fast pace, without messing up once. She rose to her feet, dusting herself off a bit as she did so. Taya once more performed the seals, and exerted her chakra.

{4/5}
Taya's chakra flew through her body, entering her mouth and throat. A sickly, thick feeling entered her mouth, and for a moment, she felt she couldn't breathe. That was simply due to herself panicking, and she quickly calmed herself down. The longer she held the jutsu, the more of the mud stayed in her mouth. Once Taya could retain no more, she sucked in a breath, expanding her lungs and getting ready to expel it.

{5/5}
As soon as Taya opened her mouth and expelled, the mud ball launched out. Taya had taken the time to aim herself at a little tree, using it for target practice. The air around the mud ball created an odd whistling sound. Once it slammed into the tree, it hardened, and the little tree bent over from the weight of the mudball.

Taya sat back appreciatively, proud of herself. For some time after, Taya bathed herself, at once stepping out, drying, and redressing. Taya gaze upon the moon, it was almost around its cycle, and ready to become a full moon.

{1/2 Breathing Underwater Technique}
Taya read over one of the jutsu she found rather useful, and studied it. This would allow her to breath underwater, which was highly useful incase she was ever trapped in water. She studied the hand seals, copying them over a few times herself.

{2/2}
Taya performed the seals once more, and drew from her chakra source. Her chakra raced up towards her throat and mouth as she dipped her head into the water. For a moment, Taya dare not breath in, for fear of choking on water. She shook off her fears, and then took a breath testingly, happy to only receive the oxygen from the water.
