((OOC: Whatever, this is a story, these kids watch movies worse than this... heart ))

As all the events unfolded she felt her stomach turn upside down and the rage burnt her face red as she put a constant pressure against the restraints. Watching Jess the best she could form the table top her gaze then shifted to Bikou and her gaze went cold into a lethal cold glare. The look a person would give another when completely focused on their death. Slowly her eyes changed to black and the pink iris's remained, her hair began to flutter about as if a breeze was blowing up from under her. There was a bit of static that arced harmlessly from her body, but instead of the kido based blue arcs, they where pink. It would feel very similar as Buru Riki's same aura to Jess, having met him briefly before.

Then her gaze shifted from Bikou to Jess and a sick smile spread over her lips, a small toothy grin revealing large flesh tearing fangs. Her gaze was empty as if something where controlling her body, or someone. Neither Jess or Bikou knew the connection between Ami and Ishi Riki, the late First Espada. All they knew was that to get to Aislinn was to go through Ami. Though this was not fully Ishi Riki, it was a portion, a memory that surfaced from the purely overwhelming emotions Ami was feeling at this time; first her lover being beaten into submission and then the words either monster spoke, now an earlier and more lethal demon growled from the cages, crying out to be heard, and rattling the very bolts that held it in place. The straps creaked as if about to give out, Ami's body pressed forward with in-shinigami strength, as if... she where an Espada herself, but being more specific, as if it where Jess within these bindings.

"Tell me Jess." Ami's voice completely gone replaced by Ishi's, it echoed like a far off nightmare that was once forgotten, now it appeared that Ishi had never died, but had been purified and reincarnated within this weak and fragile body; but only Jess could understand who the voice was, to anybody else it would seem as though she where possessed by a demon. "Have the Espada weakened since I left?" giggling she licked her lips and arched her back on the table, she looked at Bikou with a coy grin before looking back to Jess, "Has my absence caused the Espada to grow lazy?" moaning as if slightly irritated she looked up at Bikou again and licked her lip and made a kissing motion at him, "No offence, but you're not beautiful in any way, and I would love to chew off out one of your own eyes, and kiss the pulp back and forth..." she looked back to Jess, "From my lips, to hers." Looking back to him she simply cocked her head to the side, "I want to ******** you dead." Looking back to Jess she giggled yet again but this time moaned again as her back arched even more, her breasts shifting as she moved out upon the table.

Her body then fell back and her knees pressed out as if trying to spread her legs, "I want to pull out your tongue with my teeth, I want to burry my nails into the depths of your muscles until I scratch bonef." She squirmed slightly and giggled deductively, "I want too..." she moaned, and then her emotion went flat, <******** kill you." as Bikou walked up to her she simply shook her head, "Are you going to hurt me some more baby?" she pouted her lips, "Because every wound you place on this body, I'll pay you back twice as much when I am freed." then the slash came and the pain was just enough to send Ishi away and brought Ami back into reality, she screamed and struggled against the restraints trying to bear the pain. Tears feel once again and her eyes and hair fell back to normal.

"I don't think she likes you, Bikou," Jes said lightly, stripping off her red kimono top and draping it over Aislinn's bare shoulders. Without the garment, she wore only a form-fitting, black top that bared much of her snow-white skin. The hint of a tattoo peaked below the hem of her midriff-baring shirt before disappearing into the waistline of her leggings. Her hollow hole was also partially visible, in the exact spot where her heart ought to be. She didn't usually show off either mark, but she couldn't resist. Not when Ami, or whatever had possessed her, was acting so lustful. The sudden change in mood seemed almost comical, but Jes knew better. There was no mistaking the jump in power level and the abrupt change in the tenor of the emotions that poured from her. Even her words, suddenly taunting and suddenly very knowledgeable of the Espada, sounded as if someone else spoke them. There was a puzzle in her words that begged to be worked out, but Jes was not fool enough to be distracted by it at the present time. Ami was still herself. She was still Aislinn's weak spot. And she was still very, very exploitable.

Before this meeting, she had considered Ami to be leverage. Aislinn was her target. That had not changed. Ash was simply too naive and pure to pass up. Her power was unformed and corruptible and Jes derived a sense of pleasure from crushing the sunlight out of her skin. Ami, though... Ami she had misjudged, but it wasn't a mistake she would make twice. There was something dark in her that had been nearly intangible before. Now, as it flared and as she took on a different persona, Jes was forced to reassess the role she would play in all of this. She could not be relied upon to act a certain way and Jes could not afford a wild card in her plans. Ami would have to die. That was the logical conclusion, but it wouldn't happen here. It wouldn't happen now. And it wouldn't be Jes's blade buried in her stomach when that time came.

Jes tweaked a fold of her kimono smooth against Aislinn's skin. She let her her fingers linger for a moment, grazing the line of her collarbone. From anyone else it could have been seen as a gentle gesture, but there was no mistaking Jes's intentions. Her lips turned up in a cold smirk, like a cat toying with a mouse. She liked the way the pup looked in the bloody crimson that she herself so favored. Her pup. Her servant. All that was left was to seal the deal.

As if on cue, Ami screamed. Interestingly, her hair and eyes, once pulsing with that strange power, died down to their normal hue. Jes noted it on some level, but the pure agony in Ami's voice drew more of her attention. She could almost taste the pain, but she was certain Aislinn sensed it even more potently.

"She has a beautiful scream," Jes spoke only to Aislinn, hands on the girl's arms. Her grip would feel like a pair of iron vices. "I think I could listen to it all day, I really do. I wouldn't need Bikou to hurt her, either, but I think you know that. What you don't know, what I don't believe anyone in your dear Seireitei knows, is just how far my power extends. I could cut her body to ribbons, gouge out her eyes, cut out her tongue, break her fingers joint by joint. But the best part... The best part is, I could make her believe it was pleasure and not pain. Imagine that, querida mia*. Imagine her screams then,"

She transferred her grip to Aislinn's chin, forcing their eyes to meet. "Oh, but it doesn't really have to be that way. You were right when you said you could save her, little one. And you would want to save her from all that pain and humiliation, wouldn't you? Of course you would, Aislinn. You would do anything for your Ami, even if it meant death. Even... if it meant betraying your comrades. You needn't admit it to me, pup. I feel what you feel. I feel the way it hurts when she cries your name in pain. I feel all of it, and I wish to relieve you of that pain, truly I do,"

Jes leaned down, lips hovering very close to Aislinn's. "I don't have to be your enemy, cariña**. I can make this all go away, if you'd let me. Ami will go free. I will never hurt her and, so long as it is in my power, no arrancar will. All you must do in return is swear your allegiance to me. You will do all that I command, though it won't be a hard thing. I want to help you, Aislinn. Your power is beautiful, and I appreciate beautiful things. I could help you shape it, make it strong. With the strength I could show you, you would never have to see Ami hurt again. I believe that's what you want above all things. I know it hurts you to see her so defenseless,"

Jes pulled back a fraction, the better to measure Aislinn's reaction to her words. "It's decision time, Aislinn. Become my servant and this all stops. All I ask..." She paused, savoring the moment that felt very much like victory, "Is a kiss. Kiss me as if I were her***. Refuse and I regret that I must make your Ami scream as you've never heard before. It's purely your choice,"

Jes wasn't particularly interested in feeling Aislinn's passion for herself. She certainly had more than enough toys, arrancar, human, and bount, even, to keep her occupied. The kiss was tangible proof that Aislinn was willing to give herself to Jes. She also planned for it in full view of Ami as a dig for the insults Jes had been forced to brush off. Most importantly, however, it was the most direct conduit through which she could transfer her powers into Aislinn and secure her allegiance.

Aislinn stiffened as Jes covered her with the bright red kimono. She only barely resisted the urge to shake off the garment, but she had no real way of knowing how the arrancar would react. For one thing, the woman’s mood was nearly unreadable. She alternated between cold indifference and an odd affection that seemed almost sisterly. There was no anticipating her next move, and that made her dangerous. Moreover, she seemed completely unruffled by Ami’s behavior, though there was no way she could have known the connection between Ami and Ishi, the previous Primera Espada. All the same, the red-eyed woman took the apparition in her stride, neither faltering nor deigning the insults with more than a light response in passing.

Jes certainly couldn’t be counted upon to lose her cool, but maybe—just maybe—she was growing complacent. So far as Ash could tell, all had gone according to the Primera’s designs. Her and Ami’s kidnappings had gone off without a hitch and they had been here for some time, suggesting that they were hidden from Evil-taicho’s senses. If Ash could force herself to take a step back—and she did manage it, if only for a moment—she could see exactly what Jes wanted. She could see herself playing right into the Espada’s hands. She wanted something from Aislinn or she would not have tolerated her behavior. In fact, Ash would have been dead long before now if Jes had wanted it, as would Ami.

Ash’s heart sank, though she let none of the emotion show on her face. Her love for Ami was being used against her. That much had been clear from the very beginning. The problem was, there was no way Ash could prevent herself from reacting to Ami’s pain. It was an absurd notion to think that she could deny her emotions. They had always governed her actions and she had always followed her heart. There was no way she would stop, now. It was true—she would do anything and everything to protect Ami from harm, but that didn’t mean she had to roll over and accept the Primera’s terms.

Ash had to school her features into a sullen glare as she pushed her arms through the kimono’s silken sleeves. She could never betray that she was heartened by the appearance of Ishi. It proved that Ami was not so helpless as she at first seemed. There were two Primeras in this room, though Jes failed to see it. Aislinn secured the front of the kimono top to ensure it preserved what little modesty she had left. She shivered involuntarily as Jes’s cold fingers grazed her collarbone. There was something so wrong, so completely unnatural about her touch. Their essences warred against each other: greatest light and greatest dark. Aislinn only wished she had fully come into her powers—they were fledgling at best. If they had been stronger, this dark thing would never have been able to touch her. Something about that was comforting.

What little concentration Ash had gathered within the past few moments shattered at Ami’s scream. The sound tore at the very core of her and cried out, holding her head in her hands as if she were going to tear her hair out. She couldn’t take much more of this. Despite her moments of clarity, she simply couldn’t stand the sound of her lover in pain.

“Stop it!” She cried over the scream. Her eyes were tightly shut, hot tears pricking beneath her eyelids. “STOP IT! LEAVE HER ALONE!”

And then strong hands held her arms. Ami’s scream had dissolved into tears, but Ash would not be calmed. Jes’s grip was impossibly strong, but she fought her all the same, struggling until she knew she had bruised herself with the futile effort. Jes seemed not to care—or maybe even feel—Aislinn’s struggles. She was speaking and, again, her smooth voice wormed its way into Aislinn’s head. She couldn’t seem to ignore her words, no matter how horrible they were. Panic bloomed in her chest as she listened. Jes was a monster. Bikou might have enjoyed inflicting pain on a physical level, but it simply didn’t compare to Jes’s twisted version of torture. Ash felt as though she might vomit—and some small part of her wanted to be sick all over Jes’s front just for the satisfaction of catching her off guard, but it would also make her seem weak.

Those same strong hands pulled her chin inexorably upwards and Ash found herself staring into blood-red eyes. She swallowed the bile that had risen in her throat. She felt as though she was going to cry, but she couldn’t let that sort of softness show. She just wanted Ami safe from harm. Jes was right on all counts. Ash would do absolutely anything to protect her. She hated that she was so predictable. Jes seemed to anticipate Ash’s reactions even before Ash herself felt them.

The arrancar’s words were almost hypnotic. There was no denying that part of Aislinn wanted Jes—not necessarily sexually, but on a subconscious level. It was like a whispering in the back of her head, urging her to just give in. By the sound of Jes’s voice, she seemed to think she had already won. Indeed, to the outward observer, it would look as if Ash’s once tense form had relaxed and accepted—possibly even wanted—Jes’s nearness.

“All right,” Aislinn said, voice husky with defeat. She pulled away from Jes, head bowed, shoulders slumped. She was the very picture of defeat, but her mind was racing. There were ways out of this. I will not simply roll over. "Just... I need to--" She pretended to be unable to finish her sentence.

Still feigning abject misery, she approached the table on which Ami still lay. Her gait was slow, showing she had no intention of attack either Bikou or Jes. True to her appearance, Ash felt a very real sense of panic and sorrow, but there was a spark of hope, too. She had the vaguest notion of plan, but it was a start. She was more of the sort to improvise as she went along, anyway. She stopped at the edge of the table, taking in Ami’s wounds, the blood that seeped over her skin and the tears that tracked down her cheeks. Tears welled up in Ash’s own eyes, but she quickly dashed the away. She didn’t care if the arrancar saw. It would only further convince them that she’d given up. Ash took Ami’s hand, squeezing it as if to reassure her.

“You know I love you,” Ash said softly. She brushed Ami’s cheekbone with a gentle hand. Surreptitiously, she slid her hand out of Ami’s and up to the strap that held her wrist in place. She worked to loosen it, shielding her efforts with her body as she continued to speak. “You’re going t’ have t’ trust me, Ami. Everything’s going t’ be all right,”

She leaned in and kissed her full on the mouth, sparing none of her passion. Jes may have wanted that kiss for herself, but there were some things that Ash was only ever willing to give Ami. Though it was tempting merely to enjoy the taste and feel of Ami’s lips beneath hers, Ash had not forgotten her true aim. She slipped Ami’s hand out of its binding, broke the kiss—albeit a bit grudgingly—and pulled away.

“I promise, love,”

When dark reflections dance...

Bikou watched the goings on with a passive indifference, his sharp silver eyes taking in everything that happened like a super-computer collecting data. In truth, he enjoyed watching much more than doing, but Jes had insisted that he perform this measly task, and he had seen an opportunity to gather several more pieces to his puzzle. The endgame, that was what mattered.
And then Aislinn moved.
To the rest of the room, except maybe Ami, it would seem as if she was just giving a final farewell to her lover. But not to Bikou. Bikou understood human behavior better than even their foolish psychiatrists, years of observation does that to a person, if that's what Bikou was.
He moved like a wraith, his body working concert to both grasp Ami's hand, and Ash's neck, pulling both bodies together and slamming Aislnn's head to Ami's chest. His left hand re-strapped Ami's arm, a bit tighter this time, and his own head moved to Ash's ear, smooth lips whispering softly to her.
"Do you feel that, little wolf? Your precious Ami's heartbeat?" He moved his lips closer, "Enjoy it while you can." With a twist, he threw Aislinn wide of the table, back towards Jes, and took a step away, giving Ami an "oh well" glance. "What did you think that would have accomplished, my dear pup?" He chuckled, his lips splitting into a grin that would have rivaled Hannibal Lector. "Release her arm, and maybe, if she moved fast enough, she could free herself? Was that the plan? Then what? She would die before she took two steps, that I promise you." His grin vanished. "In truth, I do not wish to see either of you dead today, that does not serve my purposes. But should you and that moaning twit." He gestured to Ami, "Try some foolish, grandiose escape. I will cut you down without mercy, and feed your remains to your precious captain." His voice grew cold towards the end, and his eyes flickered dark as midnight for a moment. "As it stands, I do believe you need a little more... convincing."
His arm moved outwards in a blinding flash, slashing at Ami five separate times. When it stilled, she was left free and exposed on the table, small trickles of blood running onto the floor. Bikou turned to face his prey, sharp eyes smiling at her with feral precision.
"I do believe it was you who said they would.. '******** me dead'? Or was that your precious Ishi Riki?" He giggled slightly, "Either way, bring it on child. Now's your chance. Try something, or die." He leveled his zanpakuto at the half-naked body, dim light glinting off the mirrored steel, every inch of him preparing for the kill.

It all happened so fast, before she knew it she was freed everything was just a hazy blur even the kiss upon her lips was deaf and numb. Tears fell and her emotions began to ice over as she began to fall into the depths of her mind to cope with the stress that had been laid upon her with this full hour. The latches came up from her wrist and instead of getting up she simply remained on the cot. Closing her eyes she glowed brightly healing her body of all wounds. It took only a short period of time and she didn't even have scars. The golden glow faded revealing a fresh Ami, though she was slightly drained spiritually she reached up and pulled her top together and that also glowed repairing the clean slice through it and now held her in place firmly yet again. Rolling to her side she remained curled up, looking at her weapon, her heart raced feeling as though her weapon was already within her grasp. She sat up from her spot and hopped numbly from the cot and drug her feet over to the weapon, picking it up she held onto it, looking down to it with an empty gaze. Then Ishi screamed back into her conscious, "YOU IDIOT!!! NOW!!!" color seemed to return to her eyes as she looked up and the ribbon twisted about her entire form, razor side out. The spun around her form like a twister, she took a step forward and a section of the twister spun out and sliced the binding from the table as if a the links where butter. proof that this ribbon was not your typical blade, it would be like dragging sixteen feet of katakana across a weaker alloy. Normally it would take more than a person of rank and power to do such a feat but this was a testament to who she really was. As the ribbon spun about her, it caused the wall behind her chipped down like clay sand. Then she blurred for the door and simply sliced it into a handful of pieces and it shattered away like glass as the ribbon sliced it seamlessly. Stopping at the door she looked to Aislinn giving her a look that said, "I'll be back shortly with help..." and with that she turned and bolted away from the building. In any direction away from here. Ami was focused on escaping their clutches before finding help. Knowing what she was up against she knew well enough that she would have to fight for her life just to get away.

Though facts told her she stood no chance, her faithful mind told her that she could protect at least herself long enough to find the captain in which she was going to travel with. White sand stretched out in all direction with no obvious signs of any construct being nearby. Her feet carried her quickly yet it felt like she was getting no where. Looking back the building looked small yet it wasn't as small as she wanted it to be, in honesty she wished it wasn't there at all.

Looking back she could feel her feet give out from beneath her and then... before she knew it her world went black as she fell back landing on her back on a branch several yards down, she crashed from crystal branch to crystal branch until she landed a half mile down on soft silk sand. Coughing ruggedly she forced her body to stand against the pain her Shikai lashed out about her in pure panicked defense; coiling around her entire form. Looking about herself this place felt like a distant nightmare, Ishi sighed within her mind knowing where she was, this place... was where it all began. It's where she became a real hollow. Softly Ishi spoke, "He's following us, when you see him do not hold back." Ami nodded and gripped her blade tighter as a sharp pain shot up through her side form her ankle, she screamed and fell to her side, the ribbon fluttered down to the ground about her and over her side. The Shikai spoke gently as if trying to keep silent, "You have to get up." Ami clutched her side helplessly and began pushing spiritual pressure into her body, healing yet another wound until it was nothing more than a dull memory. Standing she grunted as sweat began to form on her brow and shoulders. "You can't be doing that every time you get a wound." finally Ami snapped back at her shikai allowed, "Stop it! Just stop it Ishi!" shaking her head she cursed to herself as she spun around slowly looking for her follower. "Damn..." her eyes shot wide open finding the hole so far up, there was no way she could get back up the way she came down. Cursing again, "Damn it." shaking her head she looked about feeling pinned yet again, her heart raced as she frantically sought for a cure for her sickened scenario. Screaming out again her weapon lashed out and cleanly cut the small trees into nothing more than splinters, <********> The mind within her skull raced even quicker hoping for a magical reply, why hadn't she been promoted and granted more power? Why was she stuck at the same level she graduated with and yet placed into this level of a danger. "This is so stupid." she turned and began running, her shikai spinning about her keeping any nearby object away by slicing them down to nothing more than inch by inch cubes though all she ran into where saplings which they turned into simple yet slightly larger dust particles.

Stopping in a middle of a field her eyes focused on every little detail, preparing for an attack from any and all directions. She did not know who her enemies where but understood they where stronger, faster, and more readily able to lash out and cause effective damage, it was proof with how quickly the monster put Ami down into her creator. Looking down to her hands she noticed that her fingers no longer ended with pretty pink nails, but black claws, along with her toes ending with small black talons. Along with that she could feel her ears twitch about listening to any sound that was made. Folding back completely she heard something crashing through the forest, looking back her eyes shot wide which cased them to become black with pink glowing iris's. Massive Menos Grade, or rather, a pack of them traveled together searching for food powerful enough to fill their empty souls. A few flashbacks of her past cruised through Ishi's mind, remembering when she had been cursed to that level of hollow and the pit she was stuck in for all those years helpless, like Ami was now. It was so pitiful how much the two girls could relate to each other. Ami's teeth sharpened feeling the fear turning to frustration and frustration turning to rage. A deep rattling grunt escaped her chest as she continued to look for her assailant. Finally she roared catching the attention of the nearby Menos, the echoed her roar and began to slowly lumber in her direction, looking about she screamed out, "Where are you!?" her voice echoed two separate voices.

When dark reflections dance...

As he watched the girl turn and run, Bikou let out a long sigh. He really did hate it when people moved with their emotions, it was such a waist of time and breath. Slowly, he massaged his temples. The girl wouldn't get far, she was alone, in a foreign environment, and had no idea where she was. Secretly he wondered if even Jes knew the exact location of his complex relative to the rest of Las Noches, or whether or not she had simply followed Ami's reiatsu. No matter, it would all be over soon enough.
With a somewhat disappointed smile, he turned to face Aislnn, his eyes almost apologetic, but still holding a mocking aspect to them.
"Well, you see there little wolf? Now I have to kill your friend. Tis a pity you did not give in to Jes when you had the chance." He turned his silver eyes to Jes, his smile vanishing. "Do what you will with the little whelp, but if she dies before I return, it would be most unfortunate." He giggled, breaking the silence that presumably would follow. "This won't take long, the girl isn't strong enough to resist me on her own."
With that, he moved towards the door, vanishing in a static pop and following after the reiatsu trail left by Ami.

Aislinn landed in a heap at Jes’s feet. Bikou’s aim had been true and Jes could have stepped forward to catch the pup as she fell, but letting her land on the cold, hard floor was much more satisfying. It would serve to drive home the fact that she was not in control. Assuming Ash wouldn’t stay down for more than a few seconds at the most, Jes knelt and scooped the girl into a near-choking headlock. She made sure she could watch as Bikou freed Ami who promptly darted toward the door, surrounded by the strange form of her zanpaku-to. She did not miss the look that passed between the two girls, nor was she oblivious to the desires that linked them. I’ll come back for you. Ami may as well have said it aloud.

No, my dear, Jes smiled coldly as Ami escaped. You will not. Conveniently, Bikou gave chase, leaving Aislinn and Jes alone in the complex. Jes’s arm around Aislinn’s neck did not slacken as she addressed her captive.

“So that leaves you and me, cariña,” She cooed into Aislinn’s dark hair. “But I know you’re anxious to see her, so I’ll grant you that much. I want you to see the consequences of such rebellious behavior,”

Shifting her grip, she freed one hand. Aislinn would still be unable to escape, as there was absolutely no denying Jes’s strength. Reaching out, Jes touched the floor in front of them. Shadows slithered from the cracks and crevices, oozing along the floor like black ink until they coalesced in a fathomless pool at Jes’s fingertips. The Shadows reflected colors like an oil slick, dark rainbows running together until their formed a moving picture.

Ami was shown sprinting through the corridors, desperately trying to escape Bikou who was hot on her heels. Quite suddenly, the floor gave way beneath her and she plummeted downwards, crashing through what seemed to be tree limbs and brush. The scene shifted, revealing Ami lying on the ground. Her back seemed strangely out of alignment and one leg was bent at an impossible angle. Blood ran from various scratches and cuts on her face and arms, but the most grievous wound by far was denoted by the stark white points of her ribs that protruded through the broken, bleeding skin of her abdomen. It appeared as though the fall had all but crushed her torso.

“Oh my,” Jes said, though her tone was not so pitying as delighted. “Even she can’t heal herself from all of that…”

Bikou landed lightly beside Ami’s prone form, a wicked smile on his smooth, thin lips. He nudged Ami’s exposed ribs with a toe and, though there was no sound to this vision, it was clear that Ami screamed. Bikou’s smile widened as he took his sword in both hands and steadied the tip over Ami’s breast. He raised the point a few inches, making it clear that he was about to drive the blade through the wounded girl’s heart.

“That’s your name she’s screaming,” Jes said lightly, watching as Bikou paused. He looked up, meeting Jes’s gaze as if he could see her, and appeared to await her orders. The Ami in the vision was twisting in pain, sobbing, blood dribbling from her mouth as her lips moved. “Over and over again—‘Aislinn, Aislinn, Aislinn’ She needs you, but you’re not there. It would be merciful to put her out of her misery, but I don’t want to see this end in tragedy. I can stay Bikou’s hand if you agree to serve me. All it takes is one word, one kiss, and you can save her,”

The vision faded, but the chamber was suddenly resonating with Ami’s cries:
“Aislinn! Help, Aislinn, it hurts”—she broke off in a choked sob. It was clear she was babbling, completely out of her mind with pain and fear—“I can’t breathe… Oh, God, please, Aislinn, please—“

“Aislinn, Aislinn, Aislinn,” Jes whispered even as the cries faded out. “Choose quickly, summer girl. Even I cannot bring people back from the dead,”

[This isn't auto-hitting or anything. What Ash saw was just an illusion/nightmare Jes constructed to trick her. None of it really happened ^^]

Aislinn twisted in Jes’s grip, trying to pull away from her. She was exhilarated that Ami had escaped, but somehow, now that she couldn’t see her, she was even more frightened for her. Still trapped with Jes, there was no way to physically protect her, especially from Bikou. She dug her nails into the pale arm around her neck, but Jes had been right. I’m not strong enough. She wasn’t strong enough to protect Ami, much less break free. Her nails didn’t even scratch Jes’s hierro.

“Leave her alone!” She growled, nearly choking in Jes’s headlock. “Let me go! Let—“

And then Jes’s shadows slithered into Ash’s vision. She would have recoiled, but Jes was at her back. Neither seemed like a particularly savory option. She was saved further struggle as the scene of Ami’s escape appeared in the depths of the dark pool. "Ami?" Ash whispered, voice rough from shouting. She sagged in Jes’s arms, transfixed by the images before her. Her heart raced with Ami as she ran; it plummeted as Ami dropped through the floor and through the trees.

“Ami!” She shrieked into the black pool, hardly caring if she could be heard or not. There was so much blood. Aislinn had never seen so many terrible wounds before—Ami’s broken leg, her ribs, her back, every cut and bruise and scratch and Aislinn was powerless to help her. “No! AMI!”

Aislinn strained against Jes’s hold, trying to reach for the pool, reach for Ami. Please. Her eyes were bright with tears that spilled over as Bikou appeared and Ami screamed. Jes taunted her softly-- Aislinn, Aislinn, Aislinn. Bikou's blade rose and Ash panicked, twisting and thrashing harder than ever as that awful feeling of helplessness washed over her again. Nothing she could do would stop that blade from piercing Ami's heart.

“Please, no! Please! Please!” She screamed. Not Ami... Not like this. She wasn’t sure to whom she appealed—Jes or Bikou or to some higher power—but she pleaded all the same. “Stop! I’ll do anything! I swear I’ll do anything you want! Please don’t hurt her! Just stop! PLEASE! STOP!”

And still, the worst was yet to come. The vision faded before her eyes, but then the crying began. It was Ami’s voice—she knew it immediately, even though it was thick with pain. It bounced off the walls of the complex, echoing horribly in Ash’s ears. She lifted her head, and shouted back, hoping-- or perhaps wishing-- Ami could hear her.

“Ami! Ami, baby, please, don’t cry! I’m right here! I’m going t’ save you! I’m right here! Please, Ami! Hold on for me! I—“ The cries died out and only Ash’s words echoed in the chamber: “I love you!” Ash broke down completely, crying and choking, chest heaving with deep sobs. Half-strangled in Jes’s grasp, she had no strength left to support herself, let alone speak. She would consent to anything Jes wanted. Anything to save Ami. I’ll do anything.

"Please," She pleaded weakly through tears. She found herself hugging Jes's pale, cold arm as if she could implore the arrancar more directly through touch. It didn't matter that she was begging the arrancar, nor did she much care if her pride remained intact. All that mattered was saving Ami's life, whatever the cost. "I'll do anything. I don't care. Please, you have to save her. Whatever the price, I'll pay it. Please, Jes--" She choked out the Espada's name. "Please. I'll do anything,"

Powchii had located Jes via there bond, which was strong. He reappeared near the usually locked entrance of Bikou's complex, his appearance noted by the faint sound of soft thunder. He stumbled by the shattered door of Bikou's complex, 'Something big must be going on,' he thought himself as he carefully stepped over the pile of rubble and stone. He could feel Jes and Aislinn up ahead.

He stopped as he came upon the two, the pup kept screaming the name 'Ami', and it was a heartfelt one at that. The visions Jes was showing the pup were mere illusions, but ones strong enough to throw the girl into despair. Who ever this Ami was, was loved by Aislinn and Powchii couldn't help but feel a certain pity for Ash, 'To be so weakened by love. Those bonds must truelly be cruel,' he thought turning away. After a few moments he turned to her once she started to cry, she was broken. Jes had succeeded in her goal and the bond would be made; however, Powchii couldn't help but feel a certain disgust at the way Jes functioned, her depravity.

'She's a master at taking ones weakness.' Gekko started before being interrupted by Genma.

'And turning it into her strength. That is where her true power lies, emotions.' Genma finished her tone was oddly serious and lacked it's usual girlishly playful tone.

Powchii acknowledged the two that argued in his thoughts, but quickly drowned out their voices. He continued to watch the two, enthralled.

“Sshh,” Jes kissed the top of Aislinn’s head, releasing her from the chokehold. The pup seemed weakened by what she had seen and Jes gathered her up in her arms, cradling her like a child. She kissed a tear that tracked down Ash’s cheek. It was salty on her tongue, full of grief and despair. It made Jes jealous, but she would never have admitted to that, nor did she allow any emotion beyond slight concern show on her face. It took an act of sheer willpower to keep her touch gentle as she wiped Aislinn’s tears away. In truth, all Jes wanted to do was hurt her, to feed on her, to cast away her broken shell. She knew it was Ami and Aislinn’s love that made her so violent, but she’d had centuries to master these emotions and they wouldn’t get the better of her. Aislinn was just another chess piece to put into play. Just like her Espada. Just like Powchii—though his darkness resonated with her own far more comfortably. Aislinn’s light clashed with Jes’s very being. Small wonder she was so grumpy.

“Poor Aislinn,” She cooed. “It won’t be so bad, querida. Just a kiss. Then you’ll have Ami back in your arms without a scratch on her, I promise. I’ll save her, Aislinn. And you will love me for it,”

With that, she pressed her lips to Aislinn’s and blew gently. Shadows bubbled out of her throat, inky and dark and alive with the promise of a new host. Jes was so full of them that it was no surprise they should be so eager to be let loose to infect a new mind. They flooded into Aislinn, racing down her throat and into her lungs. They slithered into her veins, converging hungrily on her heart. There, they were repelled. Of course, Jes thought with some disgust. All of summer’s light. How fitting that it should live in her heart…

She kissed Aislinn more deeply, forcing more Shadow into the wolfling’s small frame, somehow making the process a sensual thing. Shadow was in Aislinn’s mind, flooding into her eyes and turning them a pure, though temporary, black. Jes managed to cocoon the girl’s heart in a tight mesh of Shadow, but she couldn’t quite dowse the summer spark. Perhaps it was for the better. She didn’t want to destroy Aislinn’s ability to call upon her powers. So long as the light was controlled, Jes was content.

She broke away, licking trickles of Shadow from her lips. Aislinn would be dazed, maybe even unconscious from this ordeal. Different hosts handled the Shadows differently, but most first-time users became impossibly Shadow-drunk, slipping in an out of reality with little to no control over their bodies. Jes’s Shadows were like a drug that way. To many, they became quite addicting; though she privately hoped Aislinn had a stronger will than that. The pup needed to be able to survive away from Jes to be the proper servant and spy. It wouldn’t do for her to become dependent on Jes’s Shadow. Not yet, anyway.

“And now you’re mine, cachorrita mía,” She said evenly. Then, with a touch of a different emotion, she added, "I did so love it when you said my name,"

With a cryptic smile, she regained her composure. She ran a thumb over Aislinn’s lips, cleaning away the drops of shadow that lingered there. It was amusing to play, but Aislinn held no real appeal to her. Gender never mattered to her, but love did. She couldn't stand the ridiculous emotion herself, but Aislinn's heart was consumed by it. She would never bend quite as willingly as a human male with nothing on his mind but pleasure. Jes would never be Ami, and she wasn't sure if she was entirely pleased by the thought. She would never be bogged down by an attachment to any living being, but she would also never be the sole object of such strong passion. It was neither a light nor dark emotion as it held hints of both lust and true love, but it was bracing in a way no dark emotion was. She was hungry for it and hungry for it in the quantities that only Aislinn seemed able to provide. Perhaps she should kidnap more lovers in the future. They proved to be quite good fun...

She glanced to Powchii, feeling his concealed disgust but choosing not to comment on it. She was feeling benevolent with her victory and inclined to be almost genial. Besides, speaking of his feelings made her seem as though she cared. She didn't. “You’ve done all I asked, Powchii. Thank you. Can I offer you something in return?”

[Just let me know if I did this wrong. I figured from the book that all the summery goodness was in her heart. It also just makes the most sense ^^]

Powchii had his head turned, yet he slyly watched her through the corners of his eyes. It was done, Jes had succeeded. . . but there was one thing Powchii sensed, light. Even though Jes had drowned the pup in her darkness her light still remained. Powchii thought back on his convergence with Jes's shadows, it was smoothe and there was no resistance, but this was to be expected since most of Powchii's light had been corrupted by hate and despair. 'Jes will never be able to take over Aislinn entirely, so long as her light shines.' he thought .

He turned to face Jes when she was done, her question was an odd one, "Thanks aren't needed. As for compensation you salvaged the bit of life I had left and for that I swore my servitude, you owe me nothing." he said sullenly. He brushed the bits of hair from his face he silently debated on whether he should tell Jes about the intruders or not.

"There is something you are not telling me," Jes said tonelessly, sensing Powchii's hesitation and hazarding a guess. She couldn't truly read his mind, despite their connection, but she liked to make it seem as though she could. It engendered a greater deal of respect, or perhaps fear, in those who followed her.

Come to think of it, Powchii was full of interesting emotions. One she caught fleetingly was a sense of satisfaction. Something about what she had just done intrigued Powchii so much that she felt his mind linger on it. It wasn't something as banal as savoring the kiss she'd just shared with Aislinn. So many men were fixated on that sort of behavior among women that Jes would have found it truly comical if Powchii behaved in the same way. No, there was something else. He was either jealous or pleased by it, but his feelings were muddled. They finally settled on his usual sullen resentment. He didn't like their bond, but he knew the necessity of it. He knew that without it, he would die. Fear often made a very dedicated follower.

Powchii looked at her this time only he had shaken away any physical emotions. Powchii was a bit shocked at how keen her senses were, "I was unsure of it's importance to you." he said shaking his head shrugging at the same time. He had kept his emotions as suppressed as possible, but knew hiding any emotion from someone that fed on them would be impossible or a trying task at best.

"Hm~" Gekko let out a sigh, "Poor pup." he finished.

"She's now just a pawn in Jes's game." Genma said, ignorantly at that.

Had his dolls forgotten that their master was the same, a pawn. He abandoned his thoughts returning to the same matter that troubled him, "Jes, as trivial as this may seem," he paused and shook his head at the thought, "but you have visitors." he smirked, "An army of visitors." he gave her a sclueless shrug.

"I feel I should greet them," Jes mused, not putting much thought into the invading army. It should have bothered her, but, again, Powchii's fleeting emotions distracted her. Again, that sense of satisfaction, though this time at a different thought. Jes wished she could read minds. As it was, she could pry into his thoughts, but Powchii would sense her presence and likely fight against her. If she forced her way in, she could damage him and he was a valuable soldier.

"You'll see what they're up to, won't you?" She asked, but it wasn't really a question. He would. He was her servant and he would do anything she ordered. Aislinn would be the same way. Already, she could feel her bond with the young wolf fleshing out. It was strong enough that Powchii would likely sense the pup's thoughts and feelings in some capacity. That would be an interesting thing for him to feel-- Aislinn's love and passion. Jes smiled inwardly. Just because he was her devoted servant did not mean she wouldn't torment him in little ways.
