My parents are anti band
my siblings have a reputation of hating the band/being in it and ruining it
me? im like a ****ing angel, I show up to all my rehearsals and do ALL the fundraisers.

Okay so one day she just randomly said
"Saxophone's a brass instrument"
Unfortunatley she's saying this to the person who's played the instrument for four years of her life in marching, jazz, and concert.
We've had a fight since but she knows it's a woodwind.

My Heart Is Music My best friend is a non band geek and we have a stupid story Okay so one day she just randomly said "Saxophone's a brass instrument" Unfortunatley she's saying this to the person who's played the instrument for four years of her life in marching, jazz, and concert. We've had a fight since but she knows it's a woodwind. lol-so true!i play clarinet&one time a friend said i played flute! stressed such an idiot! but he rememvers what i play now... 3nodding

Seriously people! It is a flipping clarinet! Since when were flutes 4t times bigger? When I actually did play the flute for a bit back in middle school: "Hey, can I see your clarinet?" "I don't have my clarinet with me." "Whaa re you talking about? You ahve it in your hand!" *points to flute case* ">.>"
My sister is anti-band.
My dad can't play an isntrument for his life, yet his dad was in a local symphony.
My mom used to play clarinet, but doesn't anymore and forgot how to play.

I've got several non-band friends that quit cause they thought it was stupid. :O But most of them regret ever quitting band because of all the fun stuff we do. ^-^ I've got a couple of chorus-geeks that are obviously non-band friends but several of them wish they could be in both band and chorus ;P

Blargh. All of my non band friends think that for some strange reason after Marching Season is over that we just don't do anythin gin band class and get 100's for the rest of the year.
I hate it when non-bandies think that it's just this huge blow off class. Band in Texas is ridiculous.
We have to play off music for individual grades, broken up into sections. Each person in my band (Wind Ensemble) has a specific play off day. For a daily grade. We have sectionals every week. Only one time. And every morning we start class 30 minutes before school even starts.
It drives me nuts!

My mom used to play clarinet, but doesn't anymore and forgot how to play. well this happens to me, not so much with friends, but like those wannabe gangster kids. like in algebra, THis one kid goes up to me and stares at my clarinet case, and like "What is this, a flute?" so I take it out and show it to him "So its a flute?" I say no, its a clarinet , and hes like "No you idiot its a flute, damn dont even know your own instrument" eh, He was high, on weed, so i dont care THe thing that makes me LOL the most is when people think I play tuba when they see my bass clarinet case
