After few more drinks, things got a little cloudy for Melethia during the night. She remembers drinking with FD, but how did she end up here? She was at a lake. Did she wonder her way over here doing the course of the night? If so she was more drunk than she thought.
Melethia put a hand on her head. She was having a bad hangover. A bad hangover and she's in the cold. She is wearing a black cloak over her clothes and they were the same ones from last night. So apparently Melethia never got home. She was near a tree, not the one Joshua ran into mind you, but a different tree. She was looking up into the sky when something caught her attention at the lake. It was some fuzzy red hair. She looked over and saw Roy skating on the Ice. He wasn't doing anything graceful, but he was doing better than what she would have done.
Fighting about 75% of the time and living near a desert, ment there wasn't much chance of ice skating at all. Though there was one time that Kunzite froze a room just so he skate around a bit, and he also wanted it cold. Melethia though really wanted nothing to do with it.
Melethia looked at Roy and let a tear fall down her cheek. She was still very upset over what happened last night, and by the looks of it Roy was still thinking about it too.
"Roy..." She managed to get out.

The Hangover. It ran through FD’s hot blood on this cold, snow-polished day.
FD was recalling the night before: lots of drinking, the Roy-Melethia incident, and more drinking – with Melethia, vodka with that part. Lots and lots of hard vodka. That’s about all he could remember though. The dragon had awoken in his home next to Nils this morning, so he must have returned home after drinking with Mel at some point, but he had no recollection of actually going home. When he saw the snow on the ground however, he had decided to head to the lake, careful not to wake Nils as he departed. He wanted for his bard-beloved to sleep as long as his body dictated; no need for FD to disturb his slumber.
As he arrived at the outskirts of the lake, he could see that others had already arrived, unsurprisingly; it was an alluring place when snow fell and the lake froze over. On the ice, he noted the presence of his (almost) sister-in-law Ninian and (almost) nephew Roy. Ninian was fabulous on the ice, just like one would imagine an ice dragon being. Roy’s presence along with his mother reminded him of what he’d witnessed last night however. FD would remain off the icy-solid surface of the lake, however: the only thing FD was adept at with ice was melting it. His mind swam back to a little over a year ago, when FD saw Learania covered in snow for the first very first time since arriving there. He’d spent some of the best moments of that time (before everything else that happened that month) admiring the lake from a distance just as he was now with his Nils – it had been their first winter together. They had rested in each other’s arms rather than participate in whatever went on over the lake. With the recollection of that memory, FD decided to search out that very spot when, upon arriving at it, he found Melethia there, still in the clothes she had been wearing the night before, a tear violating her face in this cold.
“You know,” he started saying, taking a seat on the ground next to her, “this is a very special place. A place where you can be sure of what you feel.” He turned to her, “Looks like we’re both hung over,” he said with a slight, forced smile in an attempt to change the mood for a moment. Silence overtook them for a moment. Looking back at the lake as Melethia was, back at Roy and Ninian on it, he continued, “What do you feel?”

A place of love. That's what FD told her this was. A place of love. Love, she knew this is what she felt for Roy. It was the same feeling she had with Kunzite, but she knew that she was never going to see him again. He died. She had tried to find love again a bit after she came here, but none before were truly love, even if she said it was.
Roy, he was different than the others. There was just something about him that made her have a little liking to him. She called him Spitfire, just to mess with him. She was enjoying the time she had with him more and more. She was caring about him. She felt happy around him. More than friendship worth of happiness.
"What do you feel?" She heard FD say. Melethia thought about it for a moment. What did she feel? She felt like she should go over and try and fix things with Roy. She felt like that if she didn't she was going to lose him and his friendship. Even if she looked terrible at the moment. Her hair was a mess and her eyes were watery and looked like she had been drunk.
"What do I feel?" She said as she started walking to the iced over lake. "I feel I should fix this. Right now." Another tear fell down her cheek. She walked her way over to the lake, but then she stopped. She knew she wasn't going to be able to stay up for more than 2 seconds because she didn't have skates on, but she didn't care, she wanted to fix things with Roy. She stepped onto the ice and started to slip and slide around the ice.
"Roy!" She yelled, hoping to get his attention as she tried to keep her balance. Hope she doesn't fall.

Roy heard someone call his name and he turned his head towards where the voice came from.
"Mel?!" he said in surprise.
What the heck was she doing? She chose to go on the ice, without skates. Wasn't she a fire-affinity dragon, like FD? She was going to hurt herself, going out on the ice lake that without the proper equipment. He sighed before he looked over at Ninian.
"Sorry Mother. Seems like I'm needed elsewhere for the time being. Take care, okay?" he said softly, a worried smile on his face.
He then skated away from his mother, weaving his way over towards the flailing dragoness. While he wasn't able to skate as fast as Joshua or a few others, he had much better control on the ice (probably due to his calm and composed nature, in most cases. Or maybe it was whatever ice he had running through his veins that he had acquired from his mother's side of the family) than they did. It took him a while to reach Mel, but he got to her safely.
Using the momentum he got from skating over to her, the young lord reached his arm out and wrapped it around Mel's waist, ducking under her flailing arms. Holding onto her now, they slid over to the edge of the ice, not far from where he saw his soon-to-be Uncle standing. He then set her down gently back onto her feet.
Man, Mel was a mess. She reeked of booze, her hair was a mess, she had tears running down her face, and...did she even change out of her clothes from last night? The young lord sighed, then looked up at his (almost) Uncle.
"FD, can you make sure Mel gets home safely?" he asked his Uncle.
Roy then looked at Mel and placed his hands on her shoulders, now that she was off the ice and on sure footing.
"Mel...go take a hot shower, get something warm and tasty to eat, at least pretend you managed to get home last night. I promise to hear you out after that, okay?" he told her softly.
Because truth be told, Roy still hadn't sorted out how he felt about Mel, nor what he was going to do about his old feelings for Lilina.

Melethia was flailing around on ice with no skates on, we all know that wasn't smart of her to do that. Then again if someone gets emotional enough they can become irrational. She was about to fall when someone caught her. It was Roy. He lifted her up and took her back to where she wasn't on ice.
"I'm sorry..." She mummbled. She couldn't look at Roy. She knew she was a mess. More tear were running down her face. She had made a fool of herself. Roy then placed a hand on her shoulder. She lifted up her head to look at him.
"Mel...go take a hot shower, get something warm and tasty to eat, at least pretend you managed to get home last night. I promise to hear you out after that, okay?" He said to her. She nodded slowly.
"Ok." She managed to say. She tried to calm down before speaking again. "You know where I live. I'm really sure you will find me there." She turned around and started her way back to her house. She didn't care if FD followed her or not. She needed to talk to Roy, and if making herself more appealing was what he wanted her to do before they talked then that was what she was going to do.

Now I'm stuck here But I don't belong here ~Ninian~Ninian smiled, trying not to let the sadness she felt show as she placed a hand on Roy's arm. "I know you will," she told him. Roy was more than capable of taking care of himself, as he had proven back during Halloween. Fear momentarily gripped her, her breath catching. But the moment passed almost as soon as it had come. Roy, however, was distracted by someone calling his name--Melethia, slipping and sliding across the ice, desperately trying to keep her balance. Roy called back to her, murmured an apology to Ninian, and skated off towards Melethia, worry evident on his face.
Roy . . . and Melethia? she thought, looking from the swordsman to the . . . magic user? She wasn't quite sure what to make of the two. Her lips pursed slightly. It wasn't her place to say anything, even if she was his mother, unless he asked her what she thought; he did have the right to love whomever he chose, whether she liked it or not. And maybe she was just jumping to conclusions.
She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts with little success. Her son's love life was the least of her problems. The dreams, the blackouts, missing memories . . . What was happening to her? Not wanting to think about those things now, she skated on.
Maybe she would attempt a triple jump. I wanna be where you are Maybe I'm not so far from home

Roy nodded, then let Mel walk away. He then turned around and went back to skating a little while longer. Did he really plan on going to see Mel? Who knows. It all depends on how long it took for him to find an answer to his dilemma.
Though he would love to hear his mother's input about the situation, it seemed as if she was too busy enjoying her skating. He certainly didn't want to trouble her with his problems right now. After all, she was just released from the healers yesterday. Ninian probably already had enough on her plate.
So he skated around on his own, hands in his pockets, wondering when his shotabard of an Uncle would show up to give him a hand. Last night, after hearing the young lord out, it seemed like he wanted to say something about it. Unfortunately, they were both thrown out of the castle because the party was over, or something like that, before he could get his answer.

We're part of a story, part of a tale... ... Sometimes beautiful, sometimes insane... ♫ ◄NILS► ♫ ◘══════════◘
Nils groaned softly to himself, sitting up slowly and rubbing his eyes. FD was nowhere to be seen; a quick glance out the window was enough for the bard to get some sort of idea of where FD (and probably some others) were. He shook his head slowly, pulling himself up and out of bed. Sleeping in was truly a wonderful thing to do every once in a while.
Especially when you end up spending around half the night wide awake figuring out exactly what to say in order to cheer up a troubled Nephew. Nils thought to himself, pressing the heel of his hand to his forehead. He wasn't able to say the things he wanted to say before having to leave the party. Now, the words were irritating him to no end, and he just wanted to let them out. Securing his scarf around his neck, he grabbed his dragon stone and secured it around his neck before heading outside of the home he shared with his beloved FD. The bard didn't bother trying to find some different sort of attire; he wore his usual clothes, despite the weather. The only thing different was that he had a pair of ice skates in his hand. I guess I should check the lake first... At least someone there has to know where he is.
And, well, Nils was right. Skating on the frozen lake, a bit isolated from everyone else, was Roy. He smiled slightly, plopping down in the snow for a moment to put on his own ice skates. It wouldn't make sense for the bard to slide out there and then end up hurting himself! That would be very bad. Plus, it'd be painful and very, very embarrassing. So, he decided to take the time to make sure his skates were tied securely and tightly before venturing out on the ice.
He glided along for a few moments, not wanting to push his luck and test his balance, before finally making his way over to his Nephew. "... Hey. Do you think we could--" He paused for a moment, swinging his arms around for a moment in order to remain upright. It was, after all, his first time ice skating; last winter, while other people were enjoying the ice, he found himself sitting next to his love up on a hill, just watching from afar. Once steady, he continued his sentence. "Do you think we could continue that conversation from before?"

It was a fairly good morning for Loch. He'd gotten the chance to sleep in just a bit, he'd had his morning coffee (and then some), and the weather was nice. Typically birds didn't like the cold - it was hard to wrap wings up and keep them protected, but it was a crisp cold. And he had his fleece jacket. It looked almost like his regular jacket, only it was lined with fur and all sorts of warm stuff. It was a nice jacket. Of course, most of his jackets were. He prided himself on those.
He didn't have to be at his new job for a couple more hours at least, so he decided he'd take a walk down by the pond just to stretch out before he came in. He held no real position in the front of the Hostess Club. Loch wouldn't be caught alive or dead doing anything like that. Instead, Vika had approached him for his bookkeeping abilities. So now Loch was the Club's new accountant. It wasn't bad. It paid, and it didn't require him to come in at obscene hours. He just kept track of the numbers, and he came in whenever Vika was spazzing about an emergency, and all was good.
Loch shuffled along, kicking his boots through the snow to clear them, and drew closer to the pond. The general populace seemed to be having fun on this winter's day. And there he spotted Annis. Those black wings weren't easy to miss, considering that the only two laguz around were herself and Vika. And even though it'd been a month now since they had first become what could be considered "an item", it didn't stop him from casting a little mischief in her direction. He knew that, given the chance, she'd do the same for him. He reached down, grasped a handful of wet snow, and packed it into a ball. And then he took careful aim and, casually calling out "Hey, Annis!" after the ball had left his hand, Loch launched the snowball towards her with deadly precision.

Roy's thoughts were broken, once again. This time though, it was a male's voice, kinda childish. Like puberty hadn't hit yet. He looked over his shoulder, expecting it to be the shotabookworm.
It was actually his Uncle the shotabard. Wrong shota.
He watched his Uncle flail to keep his balance, the young lord stifling a laugh. It was odd. His mother was such a great skater, but her brother...well, at least he didn't crash yet or land on his bottom. That had to count for something good, right?
...Well, at least his Uncle's flailing about to keep his balance had brightened his mood a little.
He nodded slowly at his Uncle's question. "Yeah...let's continue from yesterday." he said.

She glanced down at her feet, flapping her wings once as she landed neatly on the ground. A worn black hat sat on the snow in front of her, and as he called to her, she knelt down and picked up said hat.
"You mean this?" Annis called, holding up the hat.
She paused. Were those wings she heard? She started to turn her head to the side to investigate, blinking once.
"Hey, Annis!"
Fwap.
The raven stood very still for a moment, Joshua's hat falling onto the snow. Snow was plastered all across her face now, in her hair and down to the collar of her jacket. She reached up slowly with her left hand, sweeping away the snow from her now-red face (both from embarrassment and the cold) and watched Loch off in the distance.
"...Oh, it's on," Annis grinned, eyes lighting up. She ran into action, wings beating hard; she formed a pair of snowballs, one in each arm, and flew right at Loch. As she grew close enough to hit him, she veered to the right and pegged one snowball at his ear, aiming the other for his shoulder. We're part of a story, part of a tale... ... Sometimes beautiful, sometimes insane... ♫ ◄NILS► ♫ ◘══════════◘
Nils nodded in return, skating closer to rest a hand on Roy's shoulder. This served two purposes: to kind of show Roy that the bard was there for him, and to also stabilize the bard and assure that he didn't fall anytime soon. "... I've been thinking of what to say since the party, Nephew. It's hard to give advice about something that you can't fully comprehend. I mean... Hikaru... he was the first one. I never felt like I do with him with anyone else in my lifetime." A light blush came to his face, which he tried to hide by pulling his scarf up to cover his mouth and cheeks. "You said you liked both Melethia and Lilina, correct? Well... what I'd say is just listen to your heart a little closer this next while or so. You may still be thinking of Lilina, but who knows... maybe deep down, you want to move on from her. Maybe you don't. But somewhere inside you, the answer is already there, just waiting for you to find it. So... just take the time to look for it."
He closed his eyes slightly, slowing himself down. With his skill level, skating fast without his sight would be a bad idea. "I know I said before that you need to act, but it'd be foolish to act when you don't have a clue for yourself. So, take your time. There's no rush. Take a deep breath, and just think about it. I'm sure that Melethia would understand. After all, I feel that she'd prefer you to be certain about your feelings than going to her now with a wavering heart." He shifted his gaze up to Roy. "... It's something you do have to decide for yourself. I can't tell you what to think or who to go with. I can only give you a small shove forward." With this said, the bard pushed Roy forward. "The rest, you have to do on your ow--"
The rest of his sentence was cut off by his own startled cry. No amount of flailing could stop him from falling on the ice this time; he fell forward, his knees and palms smacking against the surface of the ice.
After several moments, he began to laugh. "Well, that wasn't the most pleasant feeling ever..." He winced as he tried to stand up, his legs wobbling as he remained in place.

Well what so bad about a little coin toss now and then?
The Tempest King Ahhh come on. Live a little! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm betting my happiness life on this one "Yea that’s it, just-" He watched as the Laguz get pegged in the face by what looked like rolled up wet slush, and inwardly cringed.... he'd never been hit by a snowball and he didn't plan on it anytime soon... it looked…. cold. He sighed as the woman dropped his hat on the snow and flew off, plodding forwards in his skates through the snow he bent over and picked it up, giving it a quick smack on his pants and wiping the snow off of it before turning back to the lake. *Paf-Paf* He sighed as the woman dropped his hat on the snow and flew off, plodding forwards in his skates through the snow he bent over and picked it up---- Wait.... wha? .... OH GDAMN IT ASHNARD!Obviously the next course of action in attempting to learn how to skate, would be finding somebody to teach him, he thought about this as he waddled back towards the ice, his hat back on his head where it belonged. Scanning the ice for a familiar face he was disappointed to see, as he started skating (Well more like wobbling really) around the frozen water, that everyone he knew was either as terrible as he was or busy at the moment So he'd have to ask a relative stranger.... His eyes trailed over the lake taking everyone in "Hey... she’s not so bad" He thought as he watched the blue haired woman who had been talking to Roy skate, she was pretty good, not only that but he recognized her... she had been in Sentria as well, though she had been wearing an eye patch at the time. He wobbled a little closer to her still unsteady on his feet and not daring to try and actually skate, getting into earshot he spoke. "Hey... uhh, you were in the desert right? You were there when the bandits attacked us?" C’est la vie, -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tell you what, We'll flip on it, Heads, I win Tails, you lose DIE

Kishuna's words faltered, and he found himself actually blushing for once, face a medium shade of red. D-damnit he hadn't been planning to embarrass himself, especially not in front of Ephraim... Ahhh, and now the prince was going to make fun of him and not let it go for probably a few weeks now. ********. The morph didn't say anything yet, but instead pulled up to Ephraim, hiding his face against the prince's shoulder, a bit roughly. ".... Nnnnngh."
But it didn't last very long; they were here to be ice skating, and the morph wanted to have fun. So he had to get over his embarrassment pretty quickly and get back to his normal self. But.... today, he decided to make a different decision. Today, he'd make the prince feel important. So, his attitude changed a bit; the morph almost seemed to shrink, looking at Ephraim with loving eyes. "So, Ephie~ Do you want to go ice skating too? We could even take the pup with us, I'm sure she'll be fine." He gave the prince a cute pout; but at the same time, it managed to look sexy. Of course, this was intentional. "I want to have some fun, and it's not as fun without you. And maybe if I hold onto you, I won't fall down as much. Come on, it'll make me feel better~" And Kishuna clung to the prince, nuzzling up against his chest. How could he resist?

Let the moonlight sign post shine through the clouds to me ____and show me which road to take ______No matter how close to breaking I am today.... I'll re-awaken the distant memory of that day______ So don't forget, keep it carved in your heart. -Ephraim- It took Ephraim a few more minutes to finally calm himself and stop laughing at the morph. But at least Kishuna was alright. It would be bad if he had somehow managed to injure himself after that little face plant into the icy snow. Ciela eventually returned too, looking up at the morph once she realized he was here...she was a bit confused as to why he was wet though... Ice skating? That sounded fun..although Ephraim himself didn't really know how but hey, worth a try right? And if you fall, just get back up..no big deal...aside from a cold butt but that was it...nooothing else. "Really..you..fall down..? I highly doubt that if you stopped warping yourself everywhere, maybe you wouldn't get so sloppy" judging by his entrance anyhow, that's how it seemed. He remembered that light, same light he saw when they went on their little adventure. Ciela somehow shoveled snow onto the morph, which angered Kishuna just a bit and he chased the wolf, scolding her on why she just did that. Ephraim looked at his feet and knelt down to the snow. He gathered a pile and packed it into a ball with his hands, forming a snow ball. He glanced up, devious smile smeered his face and he stood up. "Ooooh Kishy~" the prince called. He pulled his arm back and threw the object, letting it fly toward the morph. Just as the morph turned around to see what Ephraim wanted, something cold..wet..and icy..splattered him directly on his forehead. Ephraim watched as his head fell back slightly, strands of hair flew up in the air and the morph looked forward. The prince simply smirked, holding back a snort. Oh this was fun, face plant into the snow only to be smacked...that was mean..oh too mean but it was worth it probably... ((Just a note, I didn't copy Vika or Mallow. I originally wanted to throw a snowball at Kishuna >_>;; )) ________ So don't give up, don't stop being strong in life __________Even when you're so sad that you can't go on The wind will blow on us_________ Who worried and walked together___ no matter where we go
