Chris tried to slip back behind Damian and hit a sudden back suplex.

The arms were very snake like as Damian's eyes were wide open. He tries to get himself free, but it is too late.
A loud thund can be heard as Damian's back hit the canvas.

Cross slowly rolls over to his stomach after hitting the back suplex, still trying to shake off the effects of the headlock. Before too long, he had done just that and got to his feet.

Damian is making a medium speed recovery, getting on his hands and knees.

Chris goes in for a swift knee to the side of Damian's head followed by a quick pin attempt.

Damian was forced back down by the almost car that is the knee.
However, Damian manages to kick out near the 2 count.

Cross rolls off of Damian and slams his hands down on the mat, obviously not pleased at the two count. But, really, could he expect anything less from Damian? He takes a deep breath and gets to his feet, walking back over towards his opponent and going to pull him up to a vertical base. If he was able to do that, he would go for a quick exploder suplex.

Damian was flying off of his feet by the suplex as he lay on top of his back.

Cross rolls back, attempting to fall right into place in a mounted position on Damian, before going to wrap an arm around Damian's neck and lean backwards effectively attempting to pull his opponent's head towards his own legs.

Damian's back is feeling the stretch as he struggles to get free. He will make a crawl towards the ropes, in an attempt to get free!

Cross fights it every step of the way, but knows that Damian will grab the rope.

Damian manages to grab the ropes, allowing the ref to break up the submission hold.
But the damage is lasting...

Cross immediately lets go of the hold and makes his way to his feet, before turning around and watching Damian, waiting for him to get up.

Damian slowly stands up...in a snail's pace.
His back is hurt.
