"H-hide'n's-seek?" The young boy chirped happily, head tilting. That was a fun game! "Th-tha's a g-good game! S-scorpion w-wikes d-dat game!" He beamed merrily, and all was well for a moment or so... And then curiousity filled all four of his eyes. "U-umm.. B-but who's g-gonna be's i-it first?" What a dilemma.
Axel smiled, "Friday's good for me." He shifted to face her more directly, brow arching in thought. His hand casually lifted, pulling out a pen from his pocket. He always carried one everywhere with him. "Have any paper I can use?" That, however, he didn't.

Simon frowned, a delima indeed... Finally, with a bit of pride he held up his shark "The shark will do it!" he stated, loudly, as though it was some sort of deathly sacrifice.
"Yep." Bree grinned, fishing out her favorite little black book. She sat back up, flipping through the pages, "Just ignor the alphabatizing, i couldn't fit everyone if i did it like that." she grinend as she found the spot where the names ended, passing it to him to jot his own information.

Nero looked to the other boy with awe in his eyes, as if he had just made the ultimate sacrifice. "O-otay..!" He nodded sharply and then immediately began to look for a good hiding place for scorpion. And it had to be somewhere he could fit, too, of course. He'd hide with scorpion.
The man chuckled, "Alright then." A book, hmm? He usually never kept anyone around long enough to feel the need for a book. As soon as he lost their number, he just went to someone else and decided it was meant to be. He easily jotted down his information, only halfway paying attention, already having the whole process pretty well. He then handed her book back, smiling calmly. "There we go."

Simon fidgeted, as though the sacrifice was the hardest thing in the world to do. "Aight.. I-- The shark count to thirty, and then he'll come find you." Simon nodded, as though he knew how to count to thirty. Carefully, he stuffed the sharks head under the sand so he couldn't see, and then covered his own eyes, counting in a loud yell. "ONE. UHM....TWO.... THREE... FIVE-NO.. FOUR. THEN FIVE... AN...." atleast he could make it to 10 now...
Bree had started the book when she ran into trouble with who was good and who wasn't... She'd cross out the ones she didn't find worth her time, and the others were left there so that if she ever visited she could check in to see if they were up for a fling. With how much she moved it was almost impossible to find someone new in the short amount of time she would be there. Though now was different wasn't it? She couldn't move because of that.. thing she'd been given. He was kidna cute though... When he wasn't eating her. She breifly watched him counting, finding herself slowly but surely getting attached to the lil runt. Though she'd never admit it.
"Alright." Bree chirped, tucking the book back in her bag with a slight wag of her tail. Snickering at the children as Simon started messing up his numbers.
"TEN..." okay.. what was next? "ONE TEN... TWEVLETEEN... UHM... FIFTEE..."Simon frowned, still covering his eyes and tryign to look as though he knew what he was doing.

Nero smiled uncertainly, and then nodded, scrambling off to find a place to hide his scorpion counterpart. He glanced about nervously, shuffling his feet against the ground as he found himself stuck in one place, totally baffled as to where he should go next. He let out an uncertain whine. He always got worried like this when he played this game.
Axel leaned back into the bench, watching his charge quietly, a smile tugging at his lips. They were an odd pair, those two.. Totally different in personality. He was amazed that they were getting on so well. The shark had even gotten him to play. No one besides himself and his brother had been able to do that before. "Hmm..." He shook his head slightly.
Nero glanced frantically back at Simon every five seconds or so, and then ducked himself awkwardly behind a tree. He had actually hidden fairly well, with the exception of his rather large tail was still entirely visible. He closed his eyes and waited.. Although he didn't know how to count all the way to thirty, so he was worried about when the numbers would stop..

Simon continued, making up various words that might have sounded like numbers, where was he now...? He had no idea, was 30 next? Maybe... his attention on this counting dwindled all too fast, becoming annoid with it in a few seconds. He didn't make it to an amount of 30 when he stopped, "Uhm. Uh-THIRTY." He announced, moving to his feet to peer around the area. His eyes weren't the best, adding little fuzzy edges to everything around him, and with his age, he didn't notice the large scorpion tail poking out from behind the tree. Moreso, he was looking for a more obvious Nero, like a face or something. With a light frown, he begain his search, first starting at the playground to peek inside the playhouse and under the slide, which were both no... and not by the bench...
Bree cast a glance to her watch, they'd have to leave soon... But how could she break up that game? It was just too cute. Besides, this was one of the first people he'd gotten along with. This, and Yeesha, but Yeesha often would up biting just as much as the shark did... A habit she wanted to lead him away from, not reinforce through group family eating activities.
Simon spent a minute or so searching, until finally he became aggitated and looked over to the two adults. With a frown etched into his face, he ran over to them, every movement was a run at this age... "I can't find him!" He whined, looking to them expectatnly.
Bree chuckled alittle. "I can't tell you, that'd be cheating..." she explained, grinning, "You could always give up..."
"No!" he snapped, appauled by the idea, looking to the male beside her... If she wouldn't help him, this guy would, right?

The man smiled warmly at the shark lad as he turned to him, and pressed a finger to his lips, nodding towards where his own child had come to hide. He parted his lips as if to say something, when he glanced down towards his pocket. Moments later, a ring followed. He pulled out his phone and moved to a stand, stalking off to one side and partaking in a muttered conversation. A minute or two later, he closed the phone and slid it back into his pocket. Little did he know, he'd only have this handy little device for a little bit longer, until a clumsy little child got his awkward claws on it and destroyed it. He never would get it replaced, either..
"Nero!" He called calmly, turning his eyes back towards the children, "We have to get going." Axel temporarily turned his attention back towards the woman, "It was nice meeting you."
The scorpion boy drooped dejectedly, but managed to drag himself back to his father's side. He gave a crooked little smile, waving a claw sadly at his new friend- he didn't want to go. "B-bye bye." "You'll see him again, soon." Axel ruffled Nero's hair in an affectionate manner, and with one last wave from the both of them, they were off, both parties completely silent.
They were an odd pair, to be certain.

The boy perked up as finalyl he got his oh so needed hint, trying to follow the nod to where his companion lay hidden, to which he quickly hurried towards with confidence all ready to shout "Gotcha!" when he revealed the hiding spot. Ofcourse, the whole joyous catching moment was cut off with the sound of the fellow boy's father, which caught Simon's attention, and brought along a pout as he watched Nero go. Phooey, it was his turn to hide too...
Bree smiled, "Simon, we should get going soon too, alright? Pick up your things." She commanded, "it was nice meeting you too." She responded polietly, beckoning the child to her side as he grabbed the last of his toys. Carefully she put them away in a bag, while Simon waved bye to his new friend.
There was a moment, before Bree snatched his hand and started tugging him along in the oposite direction to their car. "See, I told you the park would be fun."
