The day had started off as usual: she woke up, got ready for the day, and then went to go harrass her boss. It was the Academy's opening day and there was much familiar work to be done: welcoming the new students, helping the new students, welcoming back the old students, preventing the old students from spilling the beans, finding beans in her socks, throwing said beans at Armand when she came across him, retreating to her office for some last minute paperwork, galloping out of her office because someone put a honey badger in there, slipping on a bar of soap as she galloped out of her office, landing in a bucket of ice cold water, screaming bloody murder as she got wet, scrambling to get the hell out of the bucket of water, marching furiously back to her quarters, getting shocked by the door handle, drying herself off and changing.... You know, the usual. By the time the welcoming speech began, Faraday was so tightly strung that one more misadventure and she would just snap.

At first, the speech was uneventful. Faraday sat demurely behind Armand as he stood and welcomed the students to a new school year at Nexus Academy. Sitting to either side of her were other teachers and staff members. Some of her colleagues were missing, and she assumed they were either outside setting up pranks for either Armand or the students, or they were sitting with the students to sow the seeds of chaos when the time came... Fara senses tingling, Faraday scooted her chair back just as the pots and pans began to fall, though she needn't have feared as they mostly aimed themselves at Armand. The students burst into chatter, some wondering what the hell was going on, the others chuckling at the familiarity of it all. Before Faraday could wonder who had pranked Armand, Daryle began his crazy spiel, laughing and shouting as his plan came to fruition. Giving him a stern glare, she turned back to hear the last of Mandy's speech when Isaac started going off again, making even more trouble. Scowling heartily by now, Faraday turned back to Armand only to find him... gone. Typical.

Faraday stood at the podium to finish what Armand had started, gazing around at the students to get their attention before she spoke. "Welcome, students. I am your assistant headmistress, Faraday Rahl, and I am looking forward to working with you all throughout the school year. As I'm sure some of you are wondering--"

And then it began to rain.

The hair stood up on the back of her neck and she stumbled backwards, seeking shelter. Her speech completely forgotten, her only priority was to find something or someone to shield her from the cruel missiles of H2O that sought to destroy her. If she had to guess, this would probably be some teacher's doing, and if that was true, then it was probably that bas... er, rascal Isaac, who knew about her relationship with water. Or Armand. Whatever the case, Faraday quickly disappeared behind the stage and ran out of the auditorium like her life depended on it... Which it sort of did.

Once out, Faraday paused to catch her breath and dry herself of the two drops that had landed on her. Unable to bring herself to actually touch the spots on her forehead, she simply used heat to make them go away and upon their departure, breathed a sigh of relief. Well, that might not have gone as planned, but at least she was safe. Surely the students would be wondering what the hell her problem was... Oh well! Whistling, she skipped off to find Armand.

N-No! You-BLARG

Aventr was laughing nervously while Lise tried to figure out what was happening. All he heard then was pervert get shouted and he panicked a little. His hands went up, sure to avoid Lise entirely, and he shouted, "W-What?! NO! You fell on me!" He'd be damned if he was labelled as the perv in the beginning of his second year. He hadn't even found a nice girl to hang out with yet, any such tags would destroy that opportunity.

He was feeling a little relieved as she pushed off of him. He was being released from her awkward attack. Such a thought was quickly dragged off and killed, it's corpse lay right next to his luck, something that had died long ago. He felt her land on top of him again, but instead of trying to help, he bent forward and but his hands over his head. His eyes were squeezed closed and his face was buried as far into his own knees as he could get it. "See?! You're the pervert!" he said over the din.

With his eyes closed and his rain guard up, his rain guard being Lise of course, he had no clue that it had started to rain within the auditorium. He hadn't even heard the Assistant Headmistress speak, which had actually been something he was looking forward to. But defending his reputation was more important at the moment.

(I'll post for Isaac soon.)

The second year student closed her eyes to think. Who would want to willingly close their eyes for even a few seconds in an auditorium full of potential troublemakers? Someone terrific, of course! Trixie was once again in her own world…

Now, where was Trixie before she was so rudely interrupted? Oh, yes! Lasers! From the ceiling or the background? The ceiling. Mostly. The background. A few. Trixie must have lasers big and small! They must be colorful like a rainbow! YES! The only thing missing is a--

"PERVERT!!!" yelled a nearby female student.

--Pervert?

As if by pure female instinct, Trixie's magenta eyes swiftly exposed themselves to the world once again after hearing such a dreadful word. It didn't take long to find the culprit. There he was--several seats in front of her. THE PERVERT! The tall guy with brown hair didn't even try to hide the fact that he was seemingly staring through her very soul. Trixie's pupils gradually shrunk as she slowly lifted one finger to point at the male student. "PERVERT!!!" she yelled without care to how loud she was to nearby students. "The Terrific Trixie does not deal with perverts," she continued to yell, "and you, sir, are a… PERVERT!!!" Having made her point clear, the Terrific One stomped off towards one of the auditorium exits. Easier said than done!

Suddenly someone or something decided to prank everyone in the auditorium with a damn rainstorm. Yes, a damn rainstorm in the auditorium! Perhaps the aim was to make a literal indoor cesspool. Trixie was almost at the end of her row too--so close! Surprisingly, Trixie was more annoyed than infuriated at the raindrops attacking her new clothes. Luckily, for Trixie, her hat absorbed most of the attacking raindrops. However, there was one more challenge to overcome. The last chair of the row had a black haired girl. It wouldn't have been such a problem had the black haired girl not been resting her legs on a nearby chair, and therefore blocking Trixie from exiting the row.

"YOU!" Trixie barked. "How dare you impede The Terrific Trixie's path to the exit! Trixie demands that you let her through!"

I am The Terrific Trixie! You are not!

((Lise Illumincroix - Sorry I'm late))

Lise could hear Aventr denying her accusation, but she didn't believe him. It was just her luck she had to land on him again. Then, there was a light padding sound on her back and she could feel drops on her long braided hair and her head. It was ....RAINING?!! And someone was screaming about "Yous and Terrific Trixies". That girl sounded annoying!

"I'm not a pervert!" Lise screamed as her face got red. Why did she have to trip and fall again! She pushed herself off again and glared, noticing that his eyes were shut and his hands were in back of his head as if he was relaxing and enjoying that she had been on him a moment ago. "You...you... " She couldn't tell with Aventr if he was being serious. But in her moment of daze, the headmaster's voice blared into the area. She had no idea what he was on about. Lucky? She wasn't sure if it would be "lucky" and Professor Isaac confirmed that as he walked off into the sunrise. When she turned her attention back to Aventr, he was gone. "Hey, wait!" Aventr had ran off.

...and then she fell over. AGAIN...just as Aventr suspected she would. "This... this year is going to be worse than last year..." Lise grumbled as she picked herself up from a couple of chairs this time. The floor was so slippery, more slippery than it should be with water. She quickly made her way out of the auditorium along with the other students and then ran to the bathroom to fix herself up. She didn't slip again until.....

((Drama Teacher----Daryle Saxton))

“Why is Isaac so mean!? Always comparing me to gremlins…Although, I guess I am as cute as Gizmo…” Ah the blond idiot was unfazed by Isaac’s yelling, Fara’s dismaying, and the student’s confusion, in fact nothing after his random outburst of laugher had fazed the drama teacher. “I shall make Isaac feel better again in no time! I shall call this….” Daryle proceeded to spin round and delivered a flashy dance move which he ended with one hand pointing towards the sky “OPERATION: MAKE ISAAC SMILE!” And for some strange reason a flash of lightening and a clash of thunder roared over Daryle’s head as he pointed upwards. Some might have taken that as a sign of impending doom...maybe it was.

Grinning away like the Cheshire cat, Daryle Saxton turned his attention to the sea of young faces that bopped all around him. Apparently they were now making their way to the mailing room. “Hmm…Am I forgetting something…” A light bulb lit up in Daryles mind as he remembered something that may or may not be important “Oh! Colour coded teams of power!” Ok, he had it slightly wrong…but he was on the right track. “I should probably make my way to the mailing room” He already knew what colour group he was in charge of. Poor little mites won’t know what hit them… “I shall bring my team out on top! We shall be the most fun and loving team in existence! We shall shine the brightest! We sha----Huh…”

Apparently, while Daryle had been rambling on and doing dramatic poses…the Auditorium had begun emptying out Until only himself and few students remained. “Well now…Can’t say this hasn’t happened before…” It had, more times than the idiotic man would want to admit. “Time for me to make my exit from this room and to wait for my scarlet student to find me” Laughing with a sly grin Daryle lowered his voice to a mere whisper “I hope it is a cute student who treats me like a saviour or a god. Hehehe...” As Daryle turned towards the exit he was blasted in the face by a confetti launcher full of sparkly colourful paper that had seemingly come out of no where. “A DRAMATIC EXIT BESTOWED UPON ME BY THE NEXUS GODS! AHAHAHAHAHA! They are the greatest! This year is going to be most dramatic and wonderful!!!”

Shouts and yells due to the rain and pranks going on lulled Rine to a near sleep, what a lovely first day back! Screams of 'pervert' lept out of the mouths of neighboring female students. A particularly loud screech of the oh so endearing term rang out down the row of which Rine was lounging, but Rine's eyes remained closed. That was until the owner of that voice stomped down the row and...

“You! How dare you impede The Terrific Trixie's path to the exit! Trixie demands that you let her through!"

Great, a fanatic who was probably obsessing over an upperclassmen who did not want to be obsessed over. Although... Rine hadn't heard of a person named Trixie in her year, and Rine knew of all of the fourth years. She opened a single eye to take a look at the person who 'demanded' her to make way for this 'Terrific Trixie'. But she was met with only a wet blue haired girl. Rine, a bit baffled, opened both of her eyes and turned to look at her.

“I'm sorry,” Rine drawled in a bored voice, “I don't think I heard you properly, the water must have clogged my ears. But I think you said you demand me to make way for a 'Terrific Trixie'...”

Rine stopped speaking to gaze intently at the blue haired girl, since Rine was too lazy to glare. Her grey eyes scanned the girl's face, gauging a reaction. Rine could easily turn this situation into something that would take effort to get out of, but reminded herself that she still had to check her student mail folder... and the young'en seemed like a nice girl, so Rine continued, “But, I shall be generous this first day and lay down my arms. A word of advice, though,” she put her legs down from the seat in front of her, “Don't be so god damned rude!

The last part came as a hiss, as Rine actually glared at the girl, daring her to do something. But her smirk dissolved the glare into an amused look and she leaned back into her seat, closing her eyes.

There's a point I think we're missing, it's in the air we raise our fists in.
In the smiles we cast each other, my sisters, my brothers.

The Terrific Trixie would've glared at the human obstacle had her now drenched blue hair not been creeping across her eyes. She swept away the obtrusive strands of hair with a quick yet graceful motion of her arm. Herself made more presentable just in time to hear the dark haired girl's reply. How dare the young woman talk instead of simply moving out of the way! Well, at least she apologized, so it seemed.

At last, the young woman no longer presented herself as an obstacle to the exit. "Well, thank you--it took you long enough!" Trixie exclaimed and completed her thankfulness by walking past the girl with a snooty expression on her face. The Terrific One stopped dead in her tracks, however, as soon as she heard the young woman's "advice."

“Don't be so god damned rude!”

Trixie was right next to the young woman's seat when those words were uttered. She let out a gasp in shock not believing what she just heard. How dare she? she thought, but her shock quickly turned into annoyance. "Trixie has advice for you as well," Trixie stated as she slowly turned toward the dark haired girl. Using both her hands, Trixie grabbed a portion of her own wet blue hair, and then wrung it over the not so terrific young woman. "Don't be all washed up!" she exclaimed with a smirk. It was an action meant to insult rather than harm unless the dark haired girl happened to have a fear of water. Having satisfied herself with personally dripping water on the girl, she laughed as she walked away planning to stop by her dorm before going to the mailroom.

The pitter patter of raindrops on his skin roused him back to awareness. Elliott's eyes drifted open lazily, as if he woke from some carefree nap, rather than the light-induced coma he'd suffered at the hands of whatever genius who'd decided to shine insanely bright lights at random, innocent students for no apparent reason other than to shine insanely bright lights at random, innocent students. As his thoughts slowly came back into order, Eli blinked confusedly for a few moments, trying to register that raindrops were indeed falling from a mile high ceiling, which he was pretty sure rain didn't do. Slowly he pushed himself up into a sitting position; the back of his neck hurt like a b***h, as did his lower back and other places he couldn't think of a name for. What happened? The last he remembered was a bright white light and then darkness. Now, as Eli looked around the rapidly emptying auditorium, very few people remained and no one gave him a second glance. The other students were too busy either laughing or slipping or trying to escape the rain, while the few adults Eli could see were either laughing maniacally and then exiting, or simply sitting around as if this were an everyday occurence. Which wouldn't surprise Eli if it was. Given the chaos from the moment he'd set foot on school grounds, Eli suspected that he'd get used to weird things happening very quickly. How upsetting.

Looking bored rather than upset, Eli hoisted himself up, standing tall above two quarreling girls who were more focused on who was giving whom advice rather than the water falling from the ceiling. The giant teen ignored them and made his way out of the auditorium, careful to keep his balance on the now slippery floors, hands in his pockets and his hair gathering a gallon of water by the second. He paused, however, as the loudspeakers blared throughout the halls, lending the headmaster a rather annoying medium to relay his important message with a rather annoying voice. Lottery? Lucky? Getting attached to a teacher and some students didn't sound very appetizing.

The young giant continued his journey when a faint voice came through over the loudspeakers shortly after Armand stopped speaking. "Me? Have a lucky student? That wasn't part of the plan! Besides, I've already got an apprentice in mind... Oh! Lucy said to say hi and he wants to visit soon. I'll be sure to have the DPS on call, just in case you get any big ideas." Who was Lucy? A he, apparently, which was, needless to say, weird. And what was DPS? "Well, this will be entertaining, at the very least," the female's voice continued. "I doubt they'll figure out their teams very soon, at any rate." ...Why wouldn't they figure out their teams soon? That was suspicious, to say the least.... Eli got the feeling that whoever was speaking didn't realize the speakers were still relaying the conversation to the whole school. She probably wouldn't be too pleased when she found out, either.

User Image((Teacher of Literature - Estas Landry))

"OW!"

Estas nearly fell on his head as Isaac passed by him and whacked him deftly with that hard cane of his. For someone who was handicapped, the Arminester certainly could hit hard. Then again, Estas Landry the "beautiful" Angle was exactly the strongest physically of people. The Literature teacher did not feel he deserved such a rebuke from Isaac. The substitute teacher had shouted so loudly and critically in a manner just as bad as how random and "dramatic" Daryle had been.

When Armand's announcement echoed in the whole auditorium, Estas thought nothing of it...at least until he heard Faraday's whole spew after that.... and then Armand's response. Some hint that was. "What group was I again?" Estas rummaged in his pocket and narrowed his violet eyes as he pulled out the letter...whose ink had bled all over his pants. My pants! Ahh! ARMAND!

Great opening orientation day. Smarting shins and "bleached" pants. The ink was smeared on the letter. He could barely make out a "v". What color starts with a v? He squinted as the rain continued pouring and finally dodged under a curtain to peek at the soaked letter. With his water magic, he secretly drained the water out of the paper and managed to get a somewhat dry version of his letter. The ink was still bled out, but he could make out the words. "Violet."

((Drama Teacher----Daryle Saxton))

“Just whistle while you work~ do do do do do dooo~” A blonde man sun merrily as he waltzed around an large empty classroom. The room was completely black; the walls, floors, stage…wait…stage? Ah that’s right, this was a Drama classroom! It was Daryle Saxton’s pride and joy and he was almost always to be found behind its doors.

The dramatic teacher was currently sweeping the black floor with a thick bristled broom in preparation for the day’s lessons. Of to the side were stacks of chairs and next to them were a variety of props and clothing, all of which were kept in fine order and none seemed out of place. This was how Daryle liked it. Clean and tidy with plenty of space to act out many many scenes!

“It won’t take long so sing ya…..ya…so…song....Waaaaaah! Why did Estas have to die?! Oh he was such a magnificent mind! Oh woe is me! I find myself pining or my lost colleague who was struck down so dramatically last night!” The news that the Literature teacher had been cruelly struck down had hit Daryle hard…Or at least given his dramatic flair more power. The blonde male tossed himself onto a loveseat and reached upwards towards the ceiling “Oh dearest Estas! You were taken before your time! What cruel man or woman could do such a thing?!”

Daryle jumped up and pointed to the door “I, Daryle Saxton, shall crack this crime! You will not have died in vain!...Well….no one knows if you have died in vain or not…Hehehe….AHEM! I shall aveeeeenge you dearest Estas!” By this moment the idiotic teacher had donned a hat that looked a lot like the hat Sherlock Holmes hat. “I will find out who was responsible and bring them to justice! For I am Daryle Saxton, leading investigator and the bravest man around!” He crossed the room with his chest puffed out and head held high, and then a thought occurred. One that had him smiling sheepishly and rubbing the back of his head “Hehe…but first I must teach the youthful minds….I am sure you understand that teaching should come first, buddy~”

Stupid Daryle.
