"So?" Julie called, "You can still do better"
The girls continued their jumping and bouncing till the bird footed girl landed on a bad step and ended up landing on her rear end instead of her feet, dragging Imani down with her. "Oops!" Julie laughed.

Fump. Imani blinked as she lay sprawled out on the ground, trying to assess just how she got there. Then she remembered that Julie landed oddly, causing the two to sit/lay there instead of bouncing.
"S'okay" Imani said with a nod, oddly content with where she was and what she was doing, but only for a few brief moments before she sat up and looked at Julie.
"Wanna go back to the ball pit?" she asked.

The purple haired girl pondered for a moment before shaking her head. "No! Let's go on the slide first!" she said with a huuuge smile, her wings fluttering a bit as she did it. "We can go dowwwwwwwwwwwwn and then go to the ball pit!"

Imani laughed with Julie, sharing her excited enthusiasm. She got to her feet with a leap and held out her hand to Julie to help her with standing up.
"Down the slide we go then!" she said with a cheer, a little louder then she intended, making a few toddlers nearby to turn their heads and peer at them before either shrugging or giggling before returning to their own play.

The two girls scrambled up the ladder towards the slide, Julie giggling as she had to grip at the bars and flap her head wings to try and help her in getting up the little ladder. It was complicated but she was happy, even if it did make her lag behind Imani a bit.
At the top she smiled, "You first?"

As Imani was preparing to slide down the slide, she heard something form across the room.
"Imani!"
It was R.J. She could see her adoptive mother coming out of the room she had gone into. She must be done working for today. That made Imani sad. She looked to Julie.
"Imani mama callin' Must be time t'go home..." she said with a sigh looking down for a few moments before looking at Julie again.
"Slide together?" she asked hopefully, as to keep near Julie as long as she could before she had to go home.

"Sure!" the other girl agreed with a huge smile, moving to sit beside Imani. She tucked her wings in tight so they wouldn't get mussed or make their trip down harder.
"WHEE!" the toddler called as they went down the slide. At the bottom, she giggled, hugging her friend. "You can come to my house later on, k? You can meet my big brothers and my Mommy and we can play."
