Nishiko, or sometimes called Koko for short, tries her best to make the experience of hair styling fun and enjoyable for young maiko and geisha. Though, she may have fun personality to the costumers, however when it comes to calclating the costs . . . Nishiko tends to be rather distant from the rest of the shop. Typically, she handles whois recieving which hairstyle.

It was a bright and sunny morning, the first day the salon would be open for business. Kioku rolled open the doorway to reveal that the salon doors were finally open. She expected her employees to be her in an hour or so, to start working and getting ready. For geisha and maiko would be arriving soon.

Ayami hurried into the salon, breathless with running. "Kioku-san! I'm so sorry I'm late!" she apologized. "I was crossing the street when somebody or other decided to get into an argument with a street vendor and I just got away!" Bowing again in apology, she tucked back two braids of long brown hair and helped ready the salon for customers.
