Role: Assualt Squad Alyssa stepped off the helicopter, and went straight towards the bunker. She needed to make sure she had enough ammo and such to stay alive out there. She wasn't nervous, this wasn't her first bar-b-que. She was actually rather excited. She had her music playing, while arriving, and once she had her sleeping quarters, she put it away. She was ready to kill. She walked towards supiorior to get orders. She had to make sure that everything was ready to go. She'd be put on a team, which wasn't anything new, except she hadn't met any of these guys. She was called Hatter by her friends and comrades because she was a tad bit crazy, but willing to help where needed. She held her AR-18 semi-automatic in her hands, and her grenade launcher sat patiently to be used, on her back.((For the purposes of this excercise, we'll assume I'm your superior. Also, I'd suggest ditching the grenade launcher on your back and getting an M203 rifle mounted grenade launcher. It's lighter and easier to use. Secondly, you will get in a nice neat order and recite to me what you have learned so far so I can accurately determine where to start training. Thirdly, we do not use M4A1's or M16A1's, we use Marksmen Rifles, which are located in the Amory. Now ALL of you, everyone single one, get in a single file line, shoulder to shoulder, facing me. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand about these basic instructions. If your in Marksmen training I expect you to understand English; is there another language you would like me to speak in? En Espanol? Auf Deutsch? In Französisch? На русском языке? What ******** language do I need to speak in for you to understand elementary school concepts? Now get your asses in line, and speak to me when adressed."

Adam ran into the area where he was supposed to meet his Blackwater instructor...Once again...Sloth has taken over and he overslept, hopefully the punishment wasn't going to be too severe. He saluted the instructor and said. "Sir, Private Adam Wong reporting for duty Sir!" He awaited the punishment that may soon ensue. Toting his FN SCAR MK-16 with an ACOG TA-11 illuminated scope, he shook a little bit.

"Sir! This soldier thinks that the proper choice for standard squad support is an FN Herstal SCAR-Light, and my favorite color is blue sir!" He felt slightly less nervous as this Commanding officer seemed to be a little less strict than the rest, but no doubt his fair share of pain was coming, and he knew it.

"What kind of weapon are you going to be carrying around, soldier?" "I was going to carry the M16, but I was not aware at the time that we had SIGs in the armoury. I will carry a SIG SG 550 with under barrel 40mm grenade launcher. I appreciate the SIG SG 550 for it's accuracy, reliability under harsh conditions, and durability. There are few weapons I am more willing to entrust my life to."

((Haha don't worry, you'll get to lead training soon enough. If your good enough, you might be promoted to blackwater status as an instructor! Just remember, to train, you have to learn. How do you expect to teach when you haven't even passed marksmen training yourself. xd ))

While you are a marksmen, you generally do not need a grenade launcher however, considering that your situation may call for close quarters engagement it is a very logical action to attach a strong but somewhat unwieldy grenade launcher to your weapon. Remember, your weapon is one of your most important assets; without it, you couldn't be a Marksmen at all. Technology is extremely important and very integrated isn't it? Why, the Mechanized Division relies on vehicles, the Airforce on planes, the Navy on boats, the like. We, we rely on guns. Having the correct equipment is not only one of the most important things to being a Marksmen, but the very foundation to it. As you can see, it's important that you are all armed accordingly."

"Sir! I'll keep the light Sir!" He saluted and walked away checking the sights on his rifle and making sure that his scope wouldn't go out on him when it was needed...It happened to him when he used to hunt with his brother, it could happen again in a situation in which he would need it to save somebody's life. Hopefully the task that they were getting assigned wouldn't be too difficult, after all he still had to find somebody.

Turning his attention to Adam, the instructor approached the recruit with various steps in a slow, foot over foot fashion. "Good choice. Remember, choosing a weapon that is not only efficient, but ergonomic, one that you like, and one that you are familiar with is extremely important. As you can tell, choosing your primary weapon is a very important task. You are not simply picking up a gun; you are choosing your ship, whether that be a submarine, or a battleship, or a cruiser. You are choosing your vehicle, whether that be a Tank, a Stryker, or an Armored carrier. You are choosing your Plane, whether that be a Bomber, or a Fighter, or an Assault plane. You, you are choosing your weapon. Make an equal choice to choosing your rifle as you would choosing any of the previously mentioned vehicle. As you can see, It's a very important decision."

"I couldn't agree with you more sir" He said with a grin, "Might I inquire what our assignment is going to be today sir?" He wondered what it was going to be since it was going to be his first combat mission. He scratched his head at the thought and waited for the instructor to reply.

Objective: InstructorAnonymous let out a loud, cool, metallic laugh. "Well, you must first engage in target practice. After you all had expressed basic understanding of this, you will be participating in your first battle sequence! These will be conducted with simunitions and your rifles of choice. You will first have to demonstrate your capabilities in the firing range. Everyone who has presented arms and their names, may head their immediately. It is directly three hundred yards to the right of this facility and, thirty targets exist. There are six different areas for target practice, and, there are five different ranges. These are 25 yards, 50 yards, 100 yards, 300 yards, 500 yards, and 1000 yards. You will be expected to do this in sequence from smallest to largest and adjust your rifle in coordination."

Hatter stands quietly at attention, as her comrades discuss weapons. She watches the DI doing is job. She walks from the jeep to the group. Looking around, she wonders when they'll be taking off for the training mission. She was pumped, and wanted badly to do this, and get it over with. Hatter found it somewhat irratating that they made her update her credintials in such a fashion. She didn't argue though, because that's not what a marine does, a marine takes orders and does their job to the fullest of capabilities.
