He tilted his head, "I'm sure we will." He looked around thinking.
"I don't see why they won't be nice." He tilted his head, "As long as we don't give them an excuse to be mean anyways." He grinned. However he was thinking, "Though, you know there'll be at least one person you know at Meadowview."

She wasn't entirely sure what constituted an excuse to be mean to someone else, but she nodded along anyway. It sounded reasonable, right?
"And then we'll have lots of new friends." She sighed dreamily, a bit caught up in that fantasy. Dozens of friends! Hundreds! So many that Aggie wouldn't even be able to keep track of all their names! "A-and Meadowview definitely isn't going to be like B-Barren Pines, right? All evil and awful and undercover!"

There was that name again. He looked at her tilting her head curiously. Barren Pines, evil, awful, and undercover, in the same sentence. He assumed that the organ ring was what was being undercover.
"Well..." He said thoughtfully, "It's been there a while... I'm sure they'd notice if kids suddenly went missing or something." He was trying to pull something from the name, he felt like he should know the name.
"Unfortunately.... I don't really remember much of what happened there." He shifted, with a frown. "I feel like I should remember that name though... though I'll probably avoid horror movies for a while." He added the last bit with a mild chuckle.

"Yeah." She giggled nervously - as far as she was concerned, horror movies had always been something to avoid. "W-well, I guess we'll remember in time. Or n-not. Um, at least that was what the doctors said to m-me, so." She shrugged lightly.
From what she'd heard (yet again courtesy of the nurses in the ward), the extent of the memory loss pertaining to Barren Pines veered largely from person to person, but most could at least remember the school. It made her sort of sad to see that Azzo couldn't - what if he was like her, and was missing out on loads of friends?! "H-hopefully not the bad parts, though!"

Azzo nodded, "Yes, maybe."
He sighed as he thought, "The bad parts wouldn't be too fun to remember I don't suppose."
"I ran into Melody, I'm not sure if you know her... I don't remember her either... but after I met her something felt.... Weird?" He wrinkled his nose looking at the girl, "Kinda like... I was suppose to know her, but it also felt like something was chewing at my mind that something bad might happen the longer she stayed." He gave a half worried look. "You haven't ever had something like that happen to you have you?"

"U-um, nothing like that." She looked fairly freaked out at the idea, "H-have you told the doctors? Maybe you're sick or s-something or your memories are c-coming back!"
Or at least that was what it sounded like to one Dagmar Thorsen, no medical experience whatsoever. "It sounds, um, odd."

Azzo nodded, "Odd indeed." He echoed her first still contemplative. Eyes shifting to the window.
Suddenly he shook his head, "No... wouldn't tell the doctors. They'd probably label me insane and throw me in the nut house." He wrinkled his nose. "But it's like that feeling that something bad is going to happen. That one where you know if you go a certain way, things won't end well." He was looking over towards the window.
"I've only had that feeling once before though. Lost my best bud.... Though back then my best bud was a dog." He gave a half grin. "Which it's bad any time you loose a beloved pet."

"R-really?" Maybe the doctors weren't as nice as she'd thought if they'd do something like that! "I haven't ever, um, felt like that, but lots of people say it's important to t-trust yourself, so.. maybe you're r-right?"
"O-oh, I'm sorry! That's awful!" She meant it too, all the way to her toes. Sarcasm wasn't something Aggie knew a whole lot about and losing your best friend really did sound awful to her. "I-I couldn't imagine living without Imo, um, though she's not a dog or anything."

Azzo looked at her, head tilted and realized what he'd said perhaps had scared her, "Oh... heh they wouldn't throw anyone that was actually sane in there. Just some things occasionally sound a bit too crazy for reality."
He paused, "They probably wouldn't throw anyone of us... that escaped that horrible place... in there." In his mind however after he stopped speaking he added in right away....
He shrugged, "It happened ages ago. Wasn't anyone's fault really so, while it's appreciated there's no need to be sorry, he passed of old age as it were." While his memories where trying to sort themselves out it seemed like it didn't happen all that long ago but he was at peace with it... his memories were still rather spotty, it'd take forever to get those back.
"Though hopefully things are coming back." His focus had flicked out the door, "Maybe there'll be answers for some of the stuff that happened when they do come back.... or some of the feelings of knowing people..."

"Yeah, probably." She smiled her best smile and patted his hand yet again in what was supposed to be a comforting gesture - she too had had trouble remembering the people she'd met at Barren Pines, but meeting her old (and now reinstated) best friend had done heaps to cure that.
"Well, um, I should probably get going. Before the nurses come to c-check on you and find me here." She gave a nervous laugh and absently scratched her arm. Some of those nurses were awfully strict, and she'd already been caught trying to measure the storeroom twice..

Azzo nodded, probably was right.
"Alright, I'll see you later yeah?" He grinned, "Maybe next time I can come visit you.... if you're still in here that is...." He wrinkled his nose. He'd be stuck another week or two depending on how the nurses and doctors felt about his ribs and their healing. She'd probably be long gone by them. "Or well see you at Meadowview."
He gave a chuckle, then suddenly realized as she was leaving they'd never once exchanged names... even though they were in that ring... he didn't know what her name was. Oh boy... how rude was I.... He thought. Maybe he could play it off next time they met....
