I was looking at the library looking for a random book to read and found the Lightning Thief, once I picked it up I could not drop it

The Sea of monsters was in my book fair in like fourth grade and I got it. I read that one first and got really confused, so I went to the libaray and got the first(after I found out it was the second). Then I had a fight with this girl at the library to get The Lightning Thief.

I first found out about the books when I noticed one on a book store shelf...
It took forever to leave it, but I had no money and no way to get it. The book stayed in my head for three years, but I couldn't find it again...
My sister got the first three for Christmas and thought they sounded boring, so she gave them to me. When I read the first page I put it down and waited a whole month before starting it again and reading them nonstop.I love the series ever since and I have seen weird things since...
I'm not kidding...

One summer I was staying at my cousins' down south, and she kept calling me a 'Child of Athena' because spiders kept popping up wherever we were. The bedroom, the dock, the water, the treehouse, the MALL. Just everywhere. We regularily share books, so she leant me the first three to show me what she meant, and I obsessed over them for a...well, I'm still obsessing over them. :3 I kept them for like, a year and a half before buying it myself, since she finally asked for them back.

Only, I have a twin brother who is nothing special.Though it is not uncommon in Greek mythology for a woman to have one human and one demigod child who are 'twins'... I don't think my mom would do that to my dad though... I bet I'm just a mortal who can see through the mist OR I'm fooling myself. I don't think I am though...Fooling myself anyway... Hm...

We were all talking and stuff, when girl across points and goes, "Look!" It was a spider crawling on Gabby's chair toward friend and I. Everyone at the table screams. Very loudly. People in lunchroom stop a moment and look to see where it came from. Friend is backing up, pretty much sitting on my chair. The two of us are freaking out. My Science teacher comes and kills it. whee It was pretty funny.
