At Jasiri's next question, she shifted her position and set her mouth into a line. Though she was the adventurous, danger-seeking girl she was, she had yet to encounter anything noteworthy. Sighing softly, Kis'erela replied, "Nothing as of yet. Save for yourself, of course," she added with a soft smile. "So, you're a sort of... nomad, too? Fascinating. I suppose that means you like to roam alone?"

Thinking about what Kis'erela said made Jasiri actually think for once.
Did he like to wander alone? It had its benefits, but it did get pretty lonely. "Well I'm indifferent to it I suppose, sometimes I roam with my best friend Jamii, or sometimes I walk a few days with a new friend. Often though I do roam alone. What about you? Do you like roaming alone?" Jasiri smiled at the lioness, finding that their conversation had him enthralled.

Kis'erela nodded attentively at Jasiri's response. In the back of her mind, she felt herself wondering whether Jamii was a lion or a lioness, but she quickly pushed that thought away. Tilting her head, Kis'erela thought about his question. She'd never really been known to roam throughout with others, but she'd never really been given the chance. In all her travels she'd never actually made any friends; just acquaintences and, well, males just like Jasiri.

Shrugging, Kis'erela decided to answer his question instead of mulling it over more; she didn't want to come off as a ditz. "I suppose I'd prefer to be with others; I'm very social, as you may be able to tell. But thus far... I don't know, I just haven't met anyone I trusted or liked enough to ask to tag along with me." She smiled faintly at the thought of adopting a lone juve and bringing him up as a little adventurer; roaming throughout the roguelands with her for the beginning of his adult life. Kind of like having cubs, but with less responsibility - less being tied down. Just the thing Kis'erela would goo for. A friend; a companion, perhaps to travel with her.

Smiling at the lioness, Jasiri felt as if this was a lioness he could be friends with, not just flirt and muck around with. A rare, rare thing to happen indeed.
He wondered a brief moment if he should ask her to roam with him for a time, but he felt the lioness might reject him, and being rejected was just not the way he rolled.
"Seems a bit odd, why haven't you trust anyone?" This question was more for himself then to hear a story, he really just wanted to know if he was treading bad territory or not, if she'd been hurt previously or not.

Kis'erela watched as Jasiri formed his question, and frowned. Why hadn't she ever trusted anyone enough to travel with them, nonetheless meet with them more than once? It was a strange thing, Kis'erela and relationships. Because she always felt compulsive to just move on, she never so much as tried to stick around another, even if they'd formed somewhat of a tight bond for the short time they'd met. Thus far she'd never taken friendships, nor any sort of bond, as something of value to her. But the lion sitting before her was certainley making her rethink matters.

"I..." She faltered; unable to truly come up with a reason of why she'd always been so mistrusting of others. "I suppose it's more of a dislike issue than distrust," she finally conjured up, shrugging as much as possible for a lioness. "I've never really met any one I felt... worthy of traveling with me. Or... if I had, I never thought they had the guts to ask me about it, nor the stamina to keep up." She smiled a bit, thinking back on a female she'd met that had tried to travel with her. She ended up alone, far from the pride land she had been from, and withoutmuch hunting skill. The poor dear; but she had been quite a captivating creature.

This was something he hadn't heard before. A lioness who felt people weren't worthy to travel with her? It almost seemed conceited in his eyes, not that Jasiri himself wasn't conceited. The idea of an unworthy travel partner had never crossed his mind, though he supposed that it might have been because he only chose to travel with Jamii, or with a lion that happened to be going the same way as him.
"So what are you guide lines for judging if someone is worthy of traveling with you then my dear?" Jasiri grinned at the term of endearment, but he has said it in a tone that seemed more friendly and joking then serious or lovey.

Kis'erela had to fight herself to keep from rolling her eyes at being assigned a playful, and very generic, pet name. Fortunately, she won out and was able to restrain herself from showing obvious sarcastic distaste - though she knew he probably already knew she didn't really mind it at all. Kis'erela then shrugged, as much as a lioness can shrug, anyway. "I suppose it all really comes down to whether or not I like the person enough to spend that much time with them. I mean, I'm not exactly going to give up my independence for a few days for someone who I don't like; that'd be idiotic." It was all true; Kis'erela had yet to find anyone she'd liked enough to so much as consider allowing them to travel with her. And so it just seemed to make sense that she had slowly become a loner.

Jasiri held in a snort of laughter. This lioness was starting to sound like a grumpy hermit, and he found no problem with pointing his findings out," You know, you sound an awful lot like you really don't like social interaction. Quite like a hermit." Pausing a moment, then realize what he said had probably been rude, he tried to cover it up," Though you clearly can't be a hermit, you're fair too beautiful."

This comment made Kis'erela raise a brow; she was honestly quite surprised that Jasiri was so ready to point out her flaws. "A bit haughty, perhaps, but never one to turn down social interaction." She winked playfully, smiling at his next statement, but deciding against commenting upon it. She wasn't going to give him the self-satisfaction of knowing he had gotten to her so quickly; she wasn't like other girls, after all, and truly didn't want to seem the part.

Almost allowing himself to frown at the lack of a reaction to his comment, Jasiri quickly placed a sly grin on his face, hoping she wouldn't notice his disappointment. He was generally used to getting more of a reaction out of females at this point, but he sort of liked the challenge that this one was giving him, it was certainly an interesting, if not nice, change.
"Well that's good then, though I think perhaps the haughtiness suits you, makes things more fun." Chuckling, Jasiri began to pace, this one had made him realize he couldn't resort to his usual tactics, but at the same time, he wasn't so sure he wanted to fling and never see her again. Jasiri turned away from her momentarily, giving himself a moment to frown and compose himself. "So what do you like then? Long walks on the beach...?"
