Sirius watched and felt the brick hit the youma as it hit the collar. She didn't realise that would hurt! Ouch! She held it together though and didn't let the other two see. When the other one picked up a brick she bit her lip ready but she said to let it go? Well at least then she could help...

Sirius broke the collar and moved back to where the bricks were, picking one up and throwing it as hard as she could at the ugly thing. However being new to this as she was, throwing bricks was a lot harder then she expected. They are actually quite heavy things.

"Will this kill it?" She had to ask, it was vital information if bricks could kill youma's it was possible other normal things could to.

Snorting, Saiph heaved another brick. They couldn't just stand here all night trying to stone the thing to death. She was going to have to try again. Closing her eyes in concentration, she mentally berated herself for not having dropped the youma the first time. It wasn't human, it would never be human. And if they didn't stop it, it would hurt humans.

Opening her eyes, she managed a cheerful grin as she answered the new senshi's question.

"Only if we feel like never leaving this spot for a day or two. I want both of you to move far back behind me. Then I want that collar thing dropped."

Cracking her neck and knuckles, she gave her head a little shake as if dispelling any remaining negative thoughts. This time, she wouldn't hold back.

Alkaid nodded at Saiph before turning and tossing the brick in her hand at the creature standing not too far away from them. She could only frown at her terrible aim as it hit it in what she could only assume was the shoulder (she really wasn't up-to-date with youma anatomy). Well, at least she'd tried.

"Alright, I'm not going to argue," she tried to smile, but knew that Saiph was probably having a bit of an inner struggle with herself and couldn't find the strength to do so. Instead, she reached out to put a hand on her partner's shoulder and stepped around behind her, beckoning to the other senshi. "You really don't want to be in the way of her attack when she lets it loose."

She dropped the collar as quickly as she could and ran behind the others.

"What does her power do?" She asked the girl who had told her to keep out the way. She had seen a few powers now and all so different but none seemed to be really dangerous. Yet they said this girls was? Either way she kept behind and just watched as the youma was now free again. Oh how she hated dropping that collar, she didn't like the idea of the big ugly things running about the place. Not that they really seemed to run but still.

She stepped back a little more and just waited and hoped that whatever was about to happen would work and kill the ugly thing.

Once the invisible collar thing was dropped and the other two girls out of the way, Saiph bellowed the words "Tail Thrash!" and moved her arm in a throwing motion, hoping the movement would help her aim. Almost at once the energy sprang from her, barreling into the youma as it charged them. With a sickening crack, the attack drove the youma into wall behind it, holding it there and piledriving it's body into the brickwork.

Sweat broke out on Saiph's face as she fought to control her power when, with a soft sigh, she let go. And with a last audible crack, the energy powering the attack vanished, leaving a broken, bloody and (hopefully) dead youma. And for a moment, she blanched and staggered, dropping to one knee as a wave of dizziness hit her.

"y'll wanna make sure it's dead," she slurred, waving a hand vaguely at the new surplus of bricks near the youma. "Good crack on the temple should do it. Or maybe break it's nose and then hit up and drive the bone shards n'to it's brain."

Alkaid made sure not to stand in front of Saiph, or anywhere that her power might be able to reach if she couldn't direct it. She spared only a passing glance for the girl that had come to stand next to her, offering a reassuring smile despite the fact that they were facing a youma. As the girl asked her question, Alkaid began to open her mouth and explain - only to have her words cut off by the cry of Saiph's attack.

Her head snapped around to land on the youma just in time to watch it be driven into the wall. She still couldn't quite grasp the idea of so much force behind a power when her own was so weak. Regardless, she waved a hand and turned her gaze back to the new Senshi they had encountered. "That," was all she said, finding that there was really no need for an explanation anymore.

All attention swarmed back to Saiph when she suddenly fell to her knees, the senshi and youma forgotten. She moved quickly, falling down into a crouch at Saiph's side and reaching up to brush her hair away from her face with a gentleness one wouldn't expect from a warrior (even a laughable one). "Are you okay?" she murmured softly, brows drawn down with her concern. Saiph's slurred speech made Alkaid turn and look at the other girl, pleading silently for her to take care of it while she looked after Saiph.

Sirius watched the attack in shock. It was so powerful, really really powerful! She hadn't seen anything like it and then the girl fainted? No she was conscious. Sirius looked from one girl to the other and nodded. She understood that it made sense for her to check it was dead and so she walked over. She had heard the girl who had attacked mumble something and so went to do what she had said. Sirius just hoped it would work.

The thing was dead. At least seemed rather dead, she poked it somewhat. It didn't move which was always a good sign but she did as the other girl said regardless. She punched the thing and then jumped back. She wasn't expecting it to hurt, ouch.

"Hey is she okay?" Sirius turned back to the other girls, she didn't even know what they were called.

Waving Alkaid away gently, Saiph knelt for a moment and waited for the dizzyness to clear. Clearly, she needed more practice at learning some control if this attempt made her feel so woozy.

"m okay," she muttered, "just really dizzy. Just need a minute."

Closing her eyes, she rubbed her own temples, thinking that, in a weird and completely annoying fashion, her Tail Thrash was only behaving the way that anything connected with the primordial would act. No control, just a wild outpouring of angry, hungry energy. Setting her jaw, she lectured herself. She couldn't afford to nearly faint after a fight. And she couldn't allow her power to remain so out of control. And by no means was she going to let it run rampant and hurt someone like that boy the other senshi's attack had mangled.

Carefully opening her eyes, she was pleased to note that the world had stopped spinning.

"So, it dead?"

"I think she'll be alright," Alkaid answered slowly, though she was trying hard not to wring her hands where the other Senshi could see her. If she were being honest, she'd have told her she had no idea if Saiph was alright, but that's not what one did when attempting to be comforting. Instead she just stepped a small step away (that was all the space Saiph was getting) and turned to look at Sirius. If Saiph wanted to try and be strong right now, she would let her, but she could bet that Alkaid would put her through dozens of questions later.

"It looks pretty dead." She didn't really know what to do with it now, but standing around waiting for someone to find them didn't seem like the best idea. Monsters added to the Senshi agenda probably wouldn't be good for their image after all. She glanced from one Senshi to the other, then finally settled her gaze back on the one she didn't know. Just leaving wouldn't really be polite either, though. They'd come in and helped this Senshi, that was true, but the least they could do was offer introductions and maybe get to know a few things about her.

"I'm Sailor Alkaid, Senshi of Guidance." She held out her hand with what she hoped was a pleasant smile, but considering the fact that they were standing over a youma carcass, she wasn't quite up to par in the charm department at the moment.

Sirius nodded when they said that the girl would be okay she had to trust them really.

"Yeah it's dead." She kicked it with her foot to double check but it didn't move and so she was happy to say that yes they had managed to kill the thing, well no that girl had managed to kill the thing.

The introduction surprised Sirius, for some reason it hadn't crossed her mind that she didn't know their names. Maybe because the fight had been more important and so anything else was just a little extra. She took Alkaid's hand and smiled.

"It's nice to meet you. I am Sailor Sirius, Senshi of Canines and thank you both for coming to help." Sirius wasn't sure she would be all that alive if they hadn't come and helped her out.

Feeling her equilibrium return as the last of the dizziness faded, Saiph managed a slight grin and waved a hand in a casual salute. Winking cheekily, she offered her own name.

"Sailor Saiph, Senshi of the Primordial. And you're welcome. And if I may be so bold, perhaps we can continue this conversation elsewhere?"

Being so close tot he dead youma was giving her a case of the heebie-jeebies. Not to mention that a cop or hooker or who knew what could stumble across them at any moment.

"It's very nice to meet you, Sirius," she managed her best smile as she said it, but it was somewhat lacking in the aftershock of their battle. All the fights with youma and negaversers were a good way to wear down her cheery demeanor, that was for sure.

"Still, Saiph is right," she threw a weary glance down at the youma carcass and took a small step backwards reflexively, "we should probably get going before someone comes by. The last thing we need is more bad publicity for Senshi right now." She tried to offer a reassuring smile with this, but the thoughts of the news stories were still fresh in her mind - and her own lies to get herself out of trouble were no less fresh.

She motioned slightly with her hand and fell into a soft walk down the side of the street, her heels making their typical clicking against the pavement, like a Senshi theme song. "Did you just come on that thing all by yourself?" she asked finally, tossing a glance over her shoulder before settling her bright eyes on Sirius, "was it just wandering around out here aimlessly?" What she really wanted to know is if there had been any civilian casualties that she hadn't seen, but she wasn't that direct.

Sirius was more then happy to leave the area. She didn't like it any more then the others, the youma being all dead was still as disgusting as it being alive. She watched the others and nodded. "Sure." She would happily follow them wherever.

"Erm yeah, I was walking down one of the alleys when it appeared. The area was deserted so I was able to transform pretty quick and trap it but I can't really do much else. It was also rather big. I honestly don't know what I would have done if you both hadn't turned up." She let out a soft sigh. "Thank you both, really thank you!" She could probably say thank you a hundred times over and still not really be able to explain just how thankful she was. She was sure she would be dead if they hadn't turned up.

"How long have you both been senshi for?" She was curious and was trying to work out who she could go and find if she really needed help. These two seemed to know what they were doing and that was something at least. Maybe she could learn something from them.

Getting to her feet and shaking her head, Saiph began walking as briskly as possible from the alley. Now that she wasn't feeling quite so woozy, she wanted nothing more than to be away from the youma.

"Couple of months," she replied absently to Sirius' question. "And while this is a lovely conversation, we really need to have it elsewhere. And I think, for safety sake, we shouldn't all come trundling out of the alley together."

Smiling, she reached out and gave Sirius' shoulder a reassuring squeeze before turning and giving Alkaid a half-hug.

"There's honestly no need to thank us, Sirius. We're on the same side, after all. Now, I need to go finish my patrol, but we can all meet later, if you want. I'd recommend the coffee shop of the corner of 6th. They offer amazing coffees. See ya!"

Saiph smiled again and waved to Alkaid before taking a running leap and using the "high road" across the rooftops of Destiny City. They could all talk later over coffee.

Alkaid nodded at Saiph's answer, shrugging her shoulders a little as she walked along quickly at the sides of the other two. "I've been awake about the same amount of time, a little longer by a couple of weeks." Not that anyone could have guessed - Saiph really did do all of the work.

"I'll be there," Alkaid murmured quickly before Saiph leaped off across the roof tops and disappeared. She turned a smile to Sirius and then simply nodded in agreement to Saiph's earlier statement. "She's right though, it'd be dangerous if the negaverse found us all together. If there's a youma near here, chances are there might be a negaverse agent too." Flashes of a certain purple-haired lieutenant flashed through her mind and it was all Alkaid could do to keep from shivering.

She took a few steps backwards and motioned to the rooftops. "We'll meet you there, okay?" Then, without much other thought she jumped up onto a nearby fire escape so she could do her own rounds before she met up with the two of them.

At least the night had been somewhat productive.
